bishoprgt:He settled out of Court and in these parts, that's what you do when you know you can't prove your innocence or don't want the RECORDS in the public domain, confidentiality is a huge part of why folks settle out of court. No one is judging him or anyone else on this forum but analysing why a pastor who claimed innocence at the bigining went to settlement and also why CD doesn't want those who left new-birth in his church, Dude is on a new fundraising drive as you can see from the video below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04Zku9qFGFc |
Micuilles:Your bunch never fail to disappoint! You have lost the argument on all grounds/fronts and instead of digging deeper into your doctrinal bag, you retort to personal attacks which amounts to nothing but a sophomoric rigmarole or a WEAK attempt to shift the discourse. I will not comment on "Bishop Idahosa" but as Ray Ekpu once wrote about Judge Idahosa, "arrogance is the prerogative of the conceited" so I will leave you to that. Just because your village members in America(if any) wear ear rings and smoke pot doesn't mean everyone operates that LOW as some of us have enough common sense not to dive into everything that come our way. FYI, folks that couldn't "make it" in Nigeria can't replicate that anywhere US, UK, Europe, etc. so your "lizard" analogy is null and void/case dismissed. You must see Nigeria the same way you see CEC meaning if one likes his Country/Church, they must not criticize or point out the wrongs, even when they engage in "kalo kalo"(apologies to Zikkyy ) brand of worship/government. I don't blame you at all, na small pikin dey worry you.Pastor JoAgbaje (I know his NL stand didn't come from Ugbowo campus) doesn't seem to be on the same level with you because he doesn't sink to your level even when some push him on this forum. If "Micuilles" wants to be a pastor when he grows up, maturity development ought to start now. I admire DCLM but not a member, I might consider it (hence they have a branch near me now) once they renounce their compulsory tithe doctrine and focus on HOLINESS exclusively. |
Classic, this guy na big timer ooooo as he has his own jet and gets "security" even while outside Nigeria. Nigerian "mugus" dey "overseas" plenty now so they are able to rob those in and outside of Nigeria. Too bad Zikkyy can't use "kalo kalo gospel" anymore ![]() |
Pastor JoAgbaje, How many times do you need to be told that tithing as preached today is a SCAM/419? Do you even believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior or has "pastor Chris" taken that spot? I thought Jesus Christ fulfilled everything for Christians or don't you think so? You are not "spreading the Gospel" to anyone other than Nigerians in various places so let's cut that crap of a claim while we're at it. Why don't you want to "spread the Gospel" to Maidiguri right there in Nigeria, don't you think Boko Haram need salvation too? Both the Nigerian deceivers and their deceived deserve each other because they're all trying to get rich quick or die trying, God never promised all his Children monetary wealth as claimed by the deceivers. |
Micuilles:You that accuse Frosbel of being a DCLM, what are you a prosperity P*I*M*P? You guys never fail to amaze, you are in a nation of poverty and still have the marbles to point a finger at someone who obviously enjoys a more comfortable lifestyle than all your stolen money can give in Nigeria, haba! Vanity upon vanity, what value does TV, Jewelry, "good clothes", etc add to your life? What is "good clothes" to you? When you "grow up" in the faith, you will come to the realization that what you're faulting DCLM for now actually represents the Body of Christ more than your "bling bling" money grubbing so called "MOGs". |
Pastor JoAgbaje: You twisted the Scriptures the moment you claimed that " Giving to family relation and a christian is not the same result". I don't know that you've ever been to a farm to be so obsessed with "sowing" and "seed", which to the "untrained" ears and eyes equals MONEY/EGO/KUDI/OWO/GELD, etc. Must everything be about money? Let me ask you this Jo, say a guy that normally makes $20/hour spends 6 hours every week helping the "Church" out with one thing or the other including stuff that cost money but contribute $30 during offering time, would you say his contribution during that week was $30 or how would you classify it? Christianity is WAY more than money my friend. The number of Churches in Nigeria has yet to turn that country into a millionaires' haven, how come? |
Pastor JoAgbaje don come again with another theory ooooo. Joagbaje:I don't know if Jo has eve come across this passage : 1 Timothy 5:8 King James Version (KJV) 8But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. You need to stop twisting the Scriptures for the filthy lucre my man, "what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole World and lose his own soul"? |
Nigerians in America (Houston and ATL especially) this "bishop" might be opening up shop in your neck of the woods shortly. You'll help him build another one that he may one day "sell" to Creflo because he is "led" to go to Germany and start over again. This is PURE COMEDY if it's indeed true. |
Micuilles:Don't be surprised folks if this "micuillis" dude is another of those multiple ID scamming lot! @nuclearboy, Eddie Long and his Church might have purchased some "insurance" to cover those kinds of 8-figure settlements but I don't know they could have covered all of the settlement. Pastor JoAgbaje is not going to own up to his money grubbing ways despite being a successful artist as claimed, @JoAgbaje, there is no sermon a Pastor is going to preach today that hasn't been preached before except it's HERESY, no wonder those Nigerian Churches are now "exporting Gospel" to the West, your mates are exporting Cars, Planes, Technology, all kinds of finished good (including tooth pick), etc to Nigeria and you're "exporting gospel" to Nigerians in diaspora in exchange for their hard earned cash, omase ooo! |
OP, be prepared for the onslaught from the prosperity vendors and buyers, It is all about what the "sower" can "reap" these days and getting your "blessings" in the here and now, God help his Children. |
Joagbaje:Pastor JoAgbaje! Pastor JoAgbaje! Pastor JoAgbaje! Pastor JoAgbaje! Pastor JoAgbaje! How many times did I call your name? You just don't seem to get it do you? I have never seen more than a SPRINKLE of non-Nigerians in the different Nigerian Churches here on the east coast. Those non-Nigerians are either married to or friends with the Nigerians they came with, so who are you exporting your brand to other than NIDs? Stop fooling yourself man because you ain't fooling no one on here. |
bi ilw wu:Look at this one, your username looks like Oshoffa's middle name, you're not talking to kids here dude as you can see, your pastor JoAgbaje is beating it. ![]() |
Pastor JoAgbaje will soon abandon this thread which is what he usually do when faced with start realities of not being able to fool his NL audience. Everything with these guys is about cost and money, Christians who can't do anything for free it seems! All the time Jo spends on NL in his futile attempt to sway is CEC's way could be spent learning the intricacies on computing and how it can help advance his "ministry" so he wouldn't have to rely on "equipment staff" Joagbaje:Folks should be able to donate their time and skills for the advancement of the Gospel if they believe the bearer of the news don't you think? |
Joagbaje:Pastor JoAgbaje, where in the Bible is it written that Jesus Christ chattered a boat? You are the Pastor so please show us instances, all his Disciples were fishermen, could they be using those boats by any chance? Second point: your Nigerian TV broadcast at best reaches all parts of Africa and not beyond, depending on your carrier in the US, some of us get NTA and AIT or one of those, nothing more and nothing less. Stop this grand deception of reaching millions via the tube, I can understand some folks want to be TV personalities plus pastoring but that's a different story entirely. Internet streaming will reach more and probably is the CHEAPEST option since air times are not required. Technology make things cheaper for most people and industries maybe not for the pay per view church businesses. |
99% of Nigerian Pentecostal Churches (and their MOGs) are fake, I'll love someone to prove my assessment wrong. Like Zikky stated earlier, why not win "souls" in your own backyard before flying to SA, UK, Europe, USA, etc to win over Christians who had access to Christianity before they brought it to Africa? Why are there no branches in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Russia, etc? Let's not kid each other here, we ought to know what this is really about. |
Zikky, you need to give them your money because they need to "spread" the Gospel to places that had it before we even did in Africa, healing schools and "outreach programs" don't come cheap either. Plus you need to be able to provide them with the same lifestyle as big bank CEOs, Governors, etc. |
Make I leave this one alone, No comment required here for sure, only those with DEEP understanding can tell what these pics truly represent. Omase ooooo! |
Joagbaje:Vanity upon vanity! Pastor JoAgbaje: You mean to tell me you need to buy a new pair of shoes in the course of a weekend retreat? Didn't you read the part of a passage that told the Disciples to carry nothing extra? haba! Giving to support the Gospel should be from one's own freewill and not because "God told me to go on this trip and you need to finance it" kind of rhetorics we sometimes hear from the pulpits these days. You should preach to the ones you can reach by foot, then car/by driving before you attempt to reach those you can get to by flying(even if there's hard currency involved) |
Are we talking of the same guy here? http://www.saharareporters.com/news-page/emeka-offor-landmark-fight-overturn-uk-deportation-exclusion-order Nigerians! |
Joagbaje:Pastor JoAgbaje, Say it ain't so! Are you by any chance calling the Word of our Lord Jesus Christ "nonsense"? Matthew 19: 16 Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good[e] Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?” 17 So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good?[f] No one is good but One, that is, God.[g] But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” 18 He said to Him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, “ ‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ 19 ‘Honor your father and your mother,’[h] and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”[i] 20 The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept from my youth.[j] What do I still lack?” 21 Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. You and your CEC aren't like the mormons that use a different Bible are you? If your Bible teaches you that it is the Will of God for all his Children to be rich/wealthy (which is what most of you call "prosperity" then you need to get a REAL one because mine doesn't define prosperity in Dollars and cents. It is a total package, I go to sleep when I want and have a good sleep for instance and their are rich folks who will pay for such, likewise being able to move about, healthy, etc. I feel sorry for your congregation if you truly believe the hype of get rich quick or die trying (thug life if you ask me)No wonder Nigerian "Churches" are 'exporting' Christianity to Europe and America when there plenty of souls to be won there at home (boko haram?) but those ones don't come with Euros and Dollars attached I guess. Serve God only and leave the belly of the beast! Shalom. |
dorox:I couldn't agree more! |
Pastor JoAgbaje, no be Uniben teach you these "principles"ooooo Joagbaje:JoAgbaje, You keep looking at every comment in the Nigerian context, there's no need to "hire chairs" for small gatherings now haba! If one can host 50 people to a weekend BBQ, how much more in the things of God? Rotational means the hosting rotates among everyone or the ones with enough space to accommodate the group of house fellowship members, "Many are called, few are chosen" buddy, Shalom. |
Azibalua:You could have you worship meetings in a house or in a revolving manner hosted by everyone, you could meet in a "Church" if you like that model, you could just worship the Lord with family members, etc. ", Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there, " Building a HUGE structure and then tasking your members with UNSOUND doctrine is a SIN, (no small or big sin, JoAgbaje might disagree here), FULL DISCLOSURE is what our God demands from believers/his followers. Shalom. |
^^^ A true voice of REASON and commonsense is REFRESHING indeed. |
^^^ Nice submission you have here, "by their fruits ye shall know them, " is what Jesus Christ admonished us about Preachers/Shepherds and most of us seem to forget that in our quest to "belong" these days. Na God to help us jare! |
Akan A1:Akan A1, I helped you out with some editing there with the (NOT) insertion, it is very HARD to find true "MOGs" these days who aren't after one thing-your wallet/purse. The good Lord is exposing them one by one so that those who have ears can hear and flee from those houses of you know who. Chances are those sleek magnificent buildings are nothing but social clubs that pray every now and then. They build these huge arenas and then have to lie/threaten the faithful with hell for not doing this or that when neither Jesus Christ nor Paul preached such. Let the buyer BEWARE! |
This is DEEP and to the point! I am curious to see where this thread goes when folks start comparing the standards. |
^^^ Akan A1, I am trying to grasp the good Senator from Iowa reference and his Senate probe that came to a halt when most of the "MOGs" you mentioned hid behind some technicality of the law to claim the IRS already did the work of oversight. I don't if you took that to mean they were clean or something, please explain. Shalom. |
In this era of laziness of all kinds- physical, intellectual, spiritual, you name it, it is refreshing to see folks picking up their Bibles and actually studying the context of all the quotes they hear from the pulpit and other media avenues. If the Bereans could "fact check" Apostle Paul, why can't Christians do the same with their "MOGs" today? We also have legions here threatening the faithful with curses of all kinds for daring to "judge MOGs". Peter was the 2-I-C to our Lord Jesus Christ and yet Paul called him out for hypocrisy, if that was now, what would the legions have done or said? |
^^^ Now you know why the Churches with enough "theatrics" have their pews filled as opposed to those that preach the true unadulterated Word of God. People like entertainment in the wrong places it seems. |
wole femi:Dude, you manage to contradict yourself in the same post, LOL If the congregation should be allowed to decide as you pointed out, how is "dollar" 'right' by telling them to leave his Church and go back to EL's Church? Oluwole? ![]() |
This guy's an entertainer, never even heard of him before. Serious folks need to FLEE from this kind of preacher, I like him in that he tells you what it's really about instead of the tactics used by the majority of the "WOFers" |

) brand of worship/government. I don't blame you at all, na small pikin dey worry you.
I think he is more likely to be your guy
