I wonder why Pastor JoAgbaje and the other tithe adherents don't observe the Sabbath or give burnt offering. You have more satanic "churches" today that actual Church of God", by their fruits, ye shall know them, " |
Azibalua: ![]() I don't know that you understand what you write on your NL mission sometimes(if not most of the time), define poverty as you know it! You'll be surprised my own definition might differ from yours, intellectual poverty or handicap defies classification madam(if you're really a woman that is). As far as your kind are concerned, anyone not echoing same sentiment must be talking lots of sh*t, hos is CE's NL ministry? |
KunleOshob: ![]() Kunle, You are delivering too many blows to the head of Pastor JoAgbaje, we need to sanction you ooooo! |
Azibalua:So now they teach you to worship a small "god" ![]() The one we all know and worship is God, with a capital G, I hope CEC doctrine doesn't teach you that. Folks that get scammed by this tithe thing just want to be in somebody's good books, want to be accepted, praised, etc by mere mortals instead of doing God's work and expecting nothing in return. Money hunger is a disease. Shalom. |
Pastor JoAgbaje, This sounds like spiritual or intellectual 419 to insinuate that the passage you quoted encourage believers to utter some repetitive stuff that they've practiced over time as "spiritual prayer" Jesus Christ came to simplify everything (prayers included) for us and even gave us Our Lord's prayer, left us the Holy Spirit(which dwells in every believer) to be our guide, when they say "praying in the Spirit", it means praying within you my brother. All these gyrations only make folks look like the pharisees that were rebuked and condemned by our Lord Jesus Christ. No one needs to hear your prayer which is between you and God, all these staged stuff is not and can't be of God. |
Azibalua:BINGO! God knows your prayers before you even "speak" it out, "from the abundance of the heart speaketh the mouth, " so all these business "churches" came out with this brand which is in sharp CONTRAST to what happened at Pentecost. It is now used to differentiate between the "initiated" and the general population, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7cye4wzZVw |
This seems to be the RCCG model, I don't recall Kumuyi's late wife being an ordained Pastor or the current one for that matter. The "Pentecostal/WOF/SOF" Churches came up with this model to "keep it all in the house", A lot if not all their children are "Pastors" as well and have plum positions in the "Church"(looks more like business) hierarchy. This model was definitely made in the USA, the late archbishop B. Idahosa could have imported it to Nigeria via his "partnership"? with Oral Roberts in the 80s. |
^^^ Mr. 1 post really is a funny dude! Must you shout about what you don't seem to know much about? Where is the substance in your single(suspicious double ID at best) post? |
Maybe it's just me but when I look up Oyakhilomen, Okotie, Oritsejafor, Adefarasin, etc on youtube, they sound like Nigerians who have been out of the country a few times and thus try to speak with a forced accent. You can detect that when they pronounce certain words or phrases, the hair frying is a whole other matter. Those emulating/imitating them without stepping out of MMI should be flogged in the market square for treason, that's my 2 cents which of course is free. ![]() |
@EarsWide: These are "MOGs" who have hypnotic talents or have studied such, break the people down through guilt or other means and then proceed to re orient them in almost everything including when to "talk" to their wives. It's almost as if these guys signed away their rights to study the Word and allow the Holy Spirit to be their guide as Jesus Christ intended. Hopefully, we can pray, work, etc to save them one at a time. Shalom. |
EarsWide, These guys have gracefully allowed themselves to be had, "Religion" is now the second largest business in Nigeria, second only to politics in terms of profit margin. They prey on peoples' fears and their quest to "make it", those same people attribute any "increase" to the power of the "MOG" and fail to realize that the only one "making it" is the said "mog", there are occasional crumbs of course but you get my drift. A true "MOG" won't make noise or assign legions to defend him/his practices, twist the Scriptures to fit their purpose, etc. People who can study the Word, research what's not clear, ask the Holy Spirit for guidance won't become ECHOs for "MOGs" |
donnie:Donnie, this is grown folks discussion boy! I don't know that I would listen to any of the American "Pastors" you mentioned, I would have thought your man listened to the Benin "Bishop" more than those on your list but I don't know. Pastor Kumuyi is the only one on your list who had a Church during my time there, first "Pentecostal" Church I actually went to come to think of it and I don't see his "accent" changed over the years from his days a a college professor. I know "people" who know your "main man" more than any of you ever will and can ask them for information if needed but I don't see any need for such. @Pastor Jo, I could get some of your work once I figure out where to display them. |
Pastor JoAgbaje, My take is that anyone (especially pastors who should know better) that turn their hair into French fries is wrong and should not be hailed as a "Christian value). Fake accents are just funny and makes the pretender look stupid! There are stuff you pick up as a result of having lived in an environment for a number of years but the trained eye can still pick up elements of pretense because even different western English speaking countries have different ways of saying certain things and your pretenders tend to mix them up quite a lot(bit if you're English, see?) ![]() Okitie, Ayo, and the other so called pastors don't have a legion(mujaheddin) on NL campaigning for them like your CEC plc do they? Pastor Jo , you seem to be a better painter than what you do on your CEC beat here, why not stick with the former? Just my 2 cents! Shalom bro. |
Joagbaje:Speaking of Chief Zebrudaya, "Egbe, egbe plus including Amahioha " ![]() |
Pastor JoAgbaje, You don't surprise me anymore with anything you write because i have come to expect this kind of stuff (not the S I wanted to use but works too) from you, so just because you shave your head mean God can't count or know the number of hair on your head? Thank God I have actually heard a Pastor preach that God knows the number of hair on your head even if you shave it off. Jo, you sound like you don't have any kid or if you do not around much to see the changes that happen in every aspect of their growth. You remind me of the 50+ years old men I see with dreads or cornrows, those kinds of fads my friend come with expiration dates. Even children know the difference between Benin pidgin and Warri pidgin for example so for you to say there is no accent that can be discerned by the trained ear/eye is dishonest at best, I mean do you live on Dishonesty street off Lies Avenue? You are correct on ONLY one count that "religion is a disease" though Karl Marx put it better than you could ever imagine (ich bin kein Deutsch verstehst du das)! |
newmi:How about Ewu, Edo State accent for starters? |
Nigerians will defend anything as long as it is done/performed by someone they like or care about. Why would anyone TRUST an "MOG" who alters his/her appearance and or speech? If you don't like your God given hair, cut it off instead of dyeing/frying it in grease or "afri hair dye", one of the two things I liked about Michael Jordan was shaving his head when the balding train arrived at his station instead of some scamming wig like Steve Harvey pulled. If an "MOG" isn't being honest about his hair or accent, I wonder what else he isn't being HONEST about ![]() |
^^^ You guys will have to forgive mabell(mama bell) for this meaningless post! No shame in their game at all, it's 4th and long and this is the best you can do? A mind is a terrible thing to waste, the truth is sipping out slowly and these fakes will be EXPOSED by our God almighty pretty soon. |
donnie:Obviously one of those multiple IDs but I couldn't help but catch the highlighted part, Nigerians and "levels" and claim to be Christians, omase! Jesus Christ called himself OUR BROTHER and now these fakes and their followers have "levels"(which I thought existed only in the occult world but i digress), truth coming out perhaps? ![]() |
^^^ If we weren't Christians, we might as well have stuck a fork in Pastor JoAgbaje now because he is DONE! |
Tonye-tithe aka Mr. Aeroplane (Boeing or Jumbo?) You came in time to rescue your fellow CECer who forgot Charity(which is LOVE) is the greatest commandment of all, even Pre K students know that. You guys will make a good COMEDY group some day. |
Joagbaje:Pastor JoAgbaje, Did you slip and fall on your keyboard or you actually typed the highlighted portion? If the "Church" (I take this to mean CEC LLC/PLC/LTD) is not a "Charity" organization and don't owe the World any Charity then why do we need it? Is that message from Jesus Christ or "pastor Chris"? Leave Kunle alone and repent before it's too late! |
Pastor JoAgbaje, there can't be any "minor issue" when you claim too many things that are BASELESS or unable to withstand any scrutiny. I believe it is time you folks reorganize your "NL ministry" and bring in some fresh blood the same way you replaced "tonyet(tonye-tithe)" who might still be digging for some more scrolls to support your kind of ministry. Any "ministry" not based on Christ shall fall like babylon and won't rise anymore! |
Thank you Kunle for another expose on Pastor JoAgbaje, they're such a minority that he has to use multiple IDs to make it seem like there are other SANE Christians who support his scam. If a man can claim to raise the "dead" as indicated by dare2think and yet be scared of some hoodlum with or without any weapons, such "powers" ought to be investigated. dare2think:I thought it was because of the 72 virgins, this one pass person sha! |
^^^ Both Pastor JoAgbaje and Azibalua are displaying GROSS ignorance of both context and meaning, All of Jesus Christ's Disciples with the exception of John were martyred as a direct result of persecution so you see why Jesus Christ asked them to procure swords for their own defense after he made the ULTIMATE sacrifice to free us from bondage. Joagbaje:Pastor JoAgbaje, I can't say I am surprised by your acrobatics, what you are in effect saying is that any "MOG" that's not "involved in casting out devils on a large scale and healing the sick, " don't need to have security. Same argument you guys make to justify private jets because your "MOGs" have to preach the word and be at many places at once. Do you guys think you're talking to Elementary school children or have been made one by your "MOG"? We need to keep you and others like you in our prayers! |
Both Pastor JoAgbaje and Azibalua fail to understand the context of the statement you claim, The sword as used by Jesus Christ represented the tension that existed as the chief priests and elders sought to trap him whenever the authorities were not around, in all your "studies, are you sure you haven't come across Jesus using physical objects like seeds, lamps, vineyards, coins, lost sheep, etc to drive home his point? The same Jesus who warned Peter to put away his sword because if he wanted to, he could bring Legions of Angelical forces to deal with the Romans but that wouldn't fulfill what was written about him would it? I hope you understand that his being crucified among thieves like a common criminal was also to fulfill a prophesy. Study up guys! Shalom. |
Pastor JoAgbaje: Do you know it is CUSTOMARY for men in Yemen to carry native daggers? this is something I've learnt in the last few weeks of the political riots there. Men in Africa used to carry their cutlasses when they went anywhere and I am sure some carried Swords if it was their custom. Someone pointed that out earlier in response to you but you are still trying to justify your highly "esteemed" "MOGs" needing body guards who sometimes "protected" them from their parishioners who are prevented from direct contact with their "servant leader". Jesus Christ was PERFECT to the end and we as men strive for that and pray to get near his level, you are entitled to your opinion but please don't blaspheme in the process. |
Joagbaje:Pastor JoAgbaje, are you adding your own interpretation to Jesus Christ's promise to make the Disciples fishers of men when he pulled them from their "day jobs" as fishermen? To say that our Lord Jesus Christ needed "protection" from the people he came to reconcile with God is unimaginable to put it mildly. He was a man on a MISSION which he FULFILLED as evidenced by "IT IS FINISHED", you sir need to REPENT before it's too late. Shalom. |
donnie:You are so right "Donnie" and the "pray(ing)" ought to be against scammers parading as "MOGs" fleecing the flock. |
^^^Plentynair, you seem to be either full of air or dudu with those submissions of yours which can only lead the SANE Christian mind to conclude that you're either a pastor benefiting from this SCAM or a zombiefied worshipper in one of these business centers they call "church". Fela warned us about these "gangsters" in "coffin for head of state" and we ignored his warnings because we thought he had no idea what he was talking about, Now you take the Bible and quote it out of context to justify a scam, show me the Malachi verse that was addressed to today's Christian as opposed to Priests and or Levites. Now you danced away from the "tithe by/from law", Deuteronomy tithe was to be taken to the Temple and eaten plus the other different forms which NO ONE with no Livestock or crops paid, Jesus' sacrifice on the cross was the ultimate sacrifice to reconcile God and man removing the need for a "middle man" between God and man, hope this helps my brother. |
^^^ Let me add that these same "MOGs" can pray for anything under the sun and "it happens", and "God" speaks to them, they can raise the "dead", etc yet can't stop a bullet (assuming that to be the case) with their name on it? Worse is their attempt to assign the role of "body guards" the Jesus' Disciples! We need to pray for those who are being "pastored" by these obvious pretenders. |
