OSHIOMHOLE'S Suspension by his ward was just upheld by appeal court, while Obaseki has resigned from APC as our brothers likened. Now this is the issue, OSHIOMHOLE'S Suspension will now be lifted since the Obaseki's faction that suspended him has resigned with their master. Had it been Obaseki waited a bit, this would have be the time for him to spank OSHIOMHOLE well, but the bad luck of our brothers from the East has affected him. Family › Re: The Biggest Mistake In Marriage Right Now For A Woman by ogaontop(m): 12:06pm On May 23, 2020 |
KingSatan: As a man, a father and a grandfather. I have lived life to an extent and this is my view on this subject.
The previous thread was simple and concise, "Never marry a woman who has no means of income".
But that is the truth!
Gone are the days when people marry "Obiageri's" according to the Igbos. Back then, things weren't this bad. Considering the family setting in those days, women had no other role than to cook, birth, raise children and clean the house.
So their parents prepare them for marriage, teach them how to cook, satisfy a man and raise children. They also spend alot of time grooming their hairs, taking care of their skin (Some parents send their children to fattening rooms) and waiting to get married.
When we got married, we married to keep them at home and show off to our friends. Only a few of us married because of love. Some of our partners were not our choice but our parents.
So when you marry, your wife and children should always reflect your wealth and networth. Most especially, YOUR WIFE.
I repeat, back then things were not this bad and everyone knew their roles.
But in today's world, so many things have changed.
Women should bring to the table as much as they expect from the man.
Raising children costs alot of money and shouldn't be the responsibility of the man alone.
So many marriages have crashed on the alter of poverty or "One stream of income".
We must learn to tell ourselves the truth always.
Back then, you don't spend so much to raise a child. If he or she wants to go to the community school or follow the white man's way of life, you send them as a punishment. But those humble and loyal sons, follow you to the farm and when they come of age, you give them farmlands and wives if possible. But that's not the case anymore.
Apart from formal education abroad, I also encouraged my children to learn sellable skills. One of my son is a fashion designer and that is what puts food on his table in the UK. His college degree only reflects on his call cards.
I told this to my children (Daughters inclusive) never to marry a man or woman who has no verifiable means of income.
Money is needed to run a home in the 21st century. Alot of money!
We no longer live in mud houses or drink from pots.
As for "Entitlement", I think every couple should have that mentality depending on the context.
The man is entitled to his wife's emotional commitment. She is his wife and this also applies to the man.
I am tired of typing.
To be truthful, i warned my son's against mingling with an average African woman. They simply don't want to know the truth. They hate the truth with Passion and that is why true feminism failed woefully here.
In the Diaspora, most men who want peace of mind avoid African women because of their "Entitlement Mentality" and how exploitative they are.
Many of these women don't work but enjoy proceeds of child support from numerous partners. You think it's a coincidence? No it not. It was deliberate.
They just want to seat at home, get fat, enlarge their butts and walk up and down the street like a pussy cat that resides in Buckingham Palace.
Should I talk about Nigeria, where you meet an average Nigerian lady and realise that;
1. She is a college graduate because a "Man" sponsored her in school (Both of them are no longer together as a couple).
2. She has a roof over her head because a "Man" made that available (She has no intention of marrying him).
3. She uses the best smartphone because a "Man" bought it for her (Just another random man).
4. She has clothes on her body because a "Man" gave her money for shopping (Obviously he is "One of those mugus" .
5. She has food on her table because so many men send her money.
This same woman has no other skill but sexual skills. The only thing she can offer is "Sexual Intercourse", "Birthing Children" and "Companionship" but she expects the man to "Mark her birthdays with a brand new Escalade", "Buy her parents a new house and train her younger ones in school". Is that not exploitation?
This same woman hates her mother inlaw because she sees her as her rival. Anyway, women have always hated themselves from time immemorial, don't get moved when you see them shout in solidarity, it's just for a few seconds.
When asked about their contribution in the relationship or Marriage, some will say "I birthed children for him". But that's your natural default woman!
Even if you sleep with a sexually active mad man, you will get pregnant and birth for him.
Some will even say, "I satisfy him sexually. I gave him my body and soul". But that is same thing you did with your numerous ex lovers.
According to Pastor Sam Adeyemi, he said "If a woman does not help her husband financially, then how else does she want to help him".
In this age and time, it takes two adults who have a verifiable means of income to build a healthy family.
Cheers! I have to read this over again, it's like a book on how to marry and live happily in this 21st century! Thumbs up!!! |

Politics › Re: SSANU: FG Betrayed Our Trust On IPPIS by ogaontop(m): 7:30am On May 01, 2020 |
TopeQs: wow....
just forget, even "senior" staffs don't know how not to show their selfish interest. IPPIS is just a way to curb staffs from collecting salary from more than one avenue, I don't know much about the senior staff but let me talk about the academic staff.
Let me paint a scenario for you, most federal Universities has a part time lecturer that has a full time job in another university, this is not bad but look at the case of some lecturers that go for part time lectures in as much as 3-4 other institutions, this way they are even making 3-4 people jobless because that could have been a job for fresh graduates.
I believe the IPPIS is meant to cover just one more visiting apart from your salary, ASUU will never tell you this but I will, those lecturers that have 2-3 part-time lecturing job will not want IPPIS because it will block the salary of the part-time job. I can tell you that I know of a lecturer that has 4 part time lecturing job in another federal university, please, how will such a person have time for his own full time job, he will be joggling within states just to meet the other while not being able to put a focus on any of them, I was taught by one of them and he never had our time, then we run marathon class so as to cover up for his absenteeism.
ASUU are just motivated by selfish interest, they will never tell you this, this is not the first time that the government is changing their payment system, and it's not like their salary will be reduced, it is just those with too much of an extra work that will be affect.
the IPPIS was introduced to create transparency, yes, there are irregularities but that can definitely be sorted with time.
it is only the government that can be castigated by changing the way they want to pay their staff, could that happen to a private firm?
ponder on this. The FG is also contributing to this, they are still in dialogue to convince the ASUU while the non teaching that joined, it has been hell, how then do you expect ASUU to join? If IPPIS has been delivered as promised then you can start engaging ASUU to join, besides if FG is actually very sincere, there still other ways to curb double employment Like stopping all part time lecturing jobs in all federal universities, they know the names, account numbers and BVN of those they pay, they can trace it via this way. Besides, some quarters of ASUU are evening accusing them of trying to create ghost workers through IPPIS because when fully implemented the school management won't even know the exact number of staff on it's payment record in Abuja! "the IPPIS was introduced to create transparency, yes, there are irregularities but that can definitely be sorted with time.". ...... Sorted out when they have short doors for negotiation and explanations to the non teaching, maybe till when you hear they have went to their own strike after this Corona pandemic |

Health › Trump Suspends US Funding For WHO, Blames Organisation For COVID-19 Deaths by ogaontop(op): 11:08am On Apr 15, 2020 |
The United States is suspending funding to the World Health Organisation, Donald Trump has announced, while his administration reviews what he described as the group’s “disastrous” role in “covering up” the outbreak of the coronavirus in China. “The reality is the WHO failed to obtain, vet and share information in a timely fashion,” Mr Trump said. “The WHO failed in its basic duty and must be held accountable.” The US president, who has been accused ignoring warnings from his own intelligence agencies of the virus’s severity as well as failing to act in a timely manner, said “delays the WHO experienced in declaring a public health emergency cost valuable time, tremendous amounts of time”.Mr Trump accused the WHO of “opposing travel bans” and repeating Chinese government “propaganda” that the virus could not be transferred from person to person. The US leader issues a mild threat to withdraw from the organisation, saying, “we’ll have no choice but to do that”, unless the group changes its actions. The US is the largest financial contributor to the WHO; China is second. His administration plans to redirect funding meant for the WHO to work with countries on health issues “in other ways”. As usual, he did not describe what those “other” avenues might be. He repeated his misleading statement that Washington sends the WHO “$400m to $500m” each year. Budget documents show it is closer to just over $100m (£78m) annually. There was no immediate response from the organisation. https://www.independent.ng/trump-suspends-us-funding-for-who-blames-organisation-for-covid-19-deaths/ |

yeyeosoronga: There's little the WHO can do to China tbh. I don't think they even give aid or assistance to China. I doubt they have such powers Independent research takes time and observations which the virus isn't giving anybody. The only country they initially had was China, which withheld the information. WHO offices there too is probably filled with only Chinese people anyway. Its until it started affecting other nations that the virus and its spread is being studied in depth. Perhaps other nations can sanction them, but China seems to have most nations by their balls. You're right, but WHO is yet to agree and tell the world they were misled by China, which is why Trump has been on their neck! |

DriggityDre: See your teeth like step down. It's not as easy as you think. The virus was unpredictable and it was probably still in its mutation process. Do you know how much help this present WHO administration has offered to Africa?! If you do not, go and do some research.
Modified: So you say because they couldn't detect human-human transmission as a result of the virus' mutation, they should step down. In plain decision, yes. But the UN knows that problem could have been averted but for the virus' mutation hence, no news of any sacks or layoffs. Although, on my part, they should have spent more time studying the virus without coming to a conclusion. That one was their fault. But really, sacking them because of an error out of the much good they did for our people?! Come on. These people have families to feed too. China actually misled the world and WHO on the extent of damages done by this virus, China knew very well that the virus is human to human transmission and they said otherwise to the WHO which was announced to the world, they were not even being true to the figure of casualties and drugs they used in remedying the situation...... it's either WHO takes action against China for misinformation or has itself to blame for not carrying out an independent research before advising the world ( which is their primary responsibility) |

JustinNepolian: The problem is that most Nigerians here don't make deep research about their intended destinations ( Canada, US & parts of Europe)... Those guys over there live a very private life and not being related to any of them makes it difficult to accept you, of which most have trust issues if you happen to be a person of colour.
Your only hope of acceptance is from the church particularly Pentecostals but you've got to prove yourself worthy of their trust like being very committed or joining any department in the church... Too bad if you ain't a church goer of which most indulge to kill boredom.
School is a very good avenue to showcase yourself and talent of which you've got to be at the top of your game...before they somehow get to accept you and as for marriage, those guys are afraid of anything beginning with M- word.
Truth is many people that moved there are surprised, disappointed and depressed with what the got upon arrival. Weather nkwanu...is discouraging because you can't put up with the snow for too long.
If you're a student try to have a girlfriend particularly blacks that are citizens before you graduate... It will help you to break the barrier easily and don't be greedy because it will kill your chances...and this is my conclusion Canada is better than US..100times and that's if you want peace of mind. This is the best advice I have heard since I started making plans of relocating to Canada, Thumbs up bro!! |
