In 2003, Ikemba Ojukwu the face of Biafra contested for President against Obasanjo, Igbos didn't vote for Ikemba, they rather voted massively for Obasanjo a Yoruba man.


Also in the same 2003, Buhari picked Chuba Okadigbo an eminent Igbo son as VP and Igbos rejected them also and instead voted for Obasanjo a Yoruba man.


Igbos supported Atiku/Obi in 2019 because Igbos believed in Obi and also saw Atiku as a detribalised man who is not a religious bigot like Buhari, not just because Atiku picked Obi as VP.


Igbo youths are queuing behind Peter Obi now not because Obi is Igbo but because they see quality, a high level of honesty and accountability in Peter Obi more than others. Only Prof Yemi Osinbajo could have divided Igbo votes with Peter Obi in 2023 but unfortunately APC chose the wrong person to fly their ticket.

50 billion can, at most, pay for overhead costs for all the universities for some years.

When you go through this delegate voting pattern,it's very obvious for anyone to see the winning formular,i daresay even especially at the presidential election next yr.
Even though people like to disparage Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,the man is very right about the winning formula that brought Pres Buhari to power.

All you need to win any national election in Nigeria is to get the Voting support of the North-west,take 55% of the North-East,60% of the North Central,80 of any 1 of the 3 Southern Region and less than 20% In the the remaining 2 southern Region.
Winning an election in Nigeria need only Just 4 geopolitical region especially the North West and the South West and that's the bitter truth,any presidential aspirant can decided to continue using this template and he/she will continue to win elections.

The truth remains that in National politics, you don't ignore any region especially when you have someone like Atiku that is a stronghold in the North. Block votes from any region means a lot in presidential elections. Even Tinubu knows This, he didn't visit the South eastern states but he invited the delegates to Abuja and still gave them thousands of dollars each, he didn't visit many northern states, he didn't visit all the southwestern or South southern states!
