complexBoss12: Atiku not picking Wike is what every reasonable politician will do. Atiku needs a subordinate, someone loyal and supportive. Wike will never be that person!
Wike believes he should be president, as VP he will only try to undermine Atiku and build alliances for his own presidential interest. Apt |

franchasofficia: Lol
Dear Okowa, everybody knows you are Igbo, only the fools think otherwise because of crude oil, but the issue is, Igbos won't vote for you and Atiku just because Atiku chose you an Igbo man as VP. Igbos don't play tribal politics like Yorubas and maybe Hausa-Fulanis.
In 2003, Ikemba Ojukwu the face of Biafra contested for President against Obasanjo, Igbos didn't vote for Ikemba, they rather voted massively for Obasanjo a Yoruba man.
Also in the same 2003, Buhari picked Chuba Okadigbo an eminent Igbo son as VP and Igbos rejected them also and instead voted for Obasanjo a Yoruba man.
Igbos supported Atiku/Obi in 2019 because Igbos believed in Obi and also saw Atiku as a detribalised man who is not a religious bigot like Buhari, not just because Atiku picked Obi as VP.
Igbo youths are queuing behind Peter Obi now not because Obi is Igbo but because they see quality, a high level of honesty and accountability in Peter Obi more than others. Only Prof Yemi Osinbajo could have divided Igbo votes with Peter Obi in 2023 but unfortunately APC chose the wrong person to fly their ticket. This analysis is very impressive, quite different from what we see here on daily basis, and you just spoke the pure truth! |

subsidywise18: And how would Peter Obi change things?
Diesel prices are high because of high crude oil prices. Unless Obi wants to pay a subsidy on diesel...which means we lose more money that could have been used for other things...on subsidising diesel. They should use the subsidy they removed to ameliorate the life of Nigerians! How have they done that Instead of investing in power or education, they will tell us they used it in SCAM school feeding programme! Jokers!! |
Politics › Re: Diesel Price May Hit N1,500/litre, 75% Filling Stations Closed – Marketers by ogaontop(m): 3:02pm On Jun 15, 2022 |
subsidywise18: ASUU actually needs trillions of naira, not billions for the universities.See the 2009 ASUU-FG agreement.
50 billion can, at most, pay for overhead costs for all the universities for some years.
100 billion cannot even feed all Nigerian children. See the tiny meals they give them kids? School children feeding is a big SCAM bro! And it's not evenly distributed. In fact it is not sustainable. Build better classrooms for them and give them good teachers. Majority of them feed at home biko!! As for ASUU, the whole money they need is not at once, create a yearly budgeted sustainable payment plan and that will be taken care of. |

Politics › Re: Possible Running Mate For Peter Obi by ogaontop(m): 1:45am On Jun 11, 2022 |
Nazgul: Very true, but a Muslim Muslim ticket would change that. In case you're not aware, there's an open genocide against Christians in the North. And it's gradually moving down south look at the incident that happened in owo.
Kaduna State in the past usually rotate power between Muslim and Christian. Now they choose Muslim governor and Muslim deputy, loot at what Southern Kaduna is today. Terrorist are using Helicopters to strike at unarmed villages, Bandits are blowing up trains and abducting people. How many arrest have been done so far...none. Why? Cos their leaders who are Muslims are protecting them.
Even in my place of work, we talked about the insecurity in Nigeria and how Buhari's government is very slow to act whenever it involves Muslims and fast to act whenever it involves IPOB Christians. And the yourba Christians amongst us where of the opinion that they would stand behind Peter Obi cos if a Muslim Muslim gets to Aso Rock, Christianity in Nigeria would be on the verge of going extinct.
Lol... Osibanjo campaigned openly in RCCG camp he even came with Buhari. Go to YouTube the videos are there. Both were on the camp ground, if Daddy Adeboye didn't support them, he wouldn't have given them his altar to campaign on.
And mind you Bishop Oyedepo is a son to daddy Adeboye, so whoever Daddy follows all PFN follows.
PDP will obviously win in the north because of the high level of illiteracy there. Those ones vote based on what they're being told. That's why I want Peter Obi to pick a very vibrant northern who will get him a reasonable number of votes from the north.
Then for the South South, if Atiku picks wike, it's game over for him, Okowa would never stand behind Wike so Peter Obi can capitalize on that to get Delta and Bayelsa, as for cross river and akwa ibom, we see ourselves as one, hard work and playing the religious card to them might just work out in his favour. Nice analysis here! |

Ventura1: Capitalist aye, poverty will quadruple with these kind of policy, though not bad, but can't work in Nigeria of today. Nigeria need massive Social spending, especially in the areas of education and health, in order to close the huge poverty gap between the rich and the poor. The standard of living imbalance among the citizens is high, only the rich will benefit from this policy and the vast majority subservient to them. You're right bro |

When yoruba refused to vote for Obasanjo in place of Olu Falae, didn't he give them reasonable posts in his government. You guys should understand that democracy is inclusive, even the bigotic Buhari understood this to a reasonable extent, he appointed many South easterners in spite of the fact they didn't vote for him! |

Faiththatworks: Hmmmmmm...... When you go through this delegate voting pattern,it's very obvious for anyone to see the winning formular,i daresay even especially at the presidential election next yr. Even though people like to disparage Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the man is very right about the winning formula that brought Pres Buhari to power. This winning formula is very very dangerous But I'm sure Asiwaju will definitely use it again in 2023. All you need to win any national election in Nigeria is to get the Voting support of the North-west,take 55% of the North-East,60% of the North Central,80 of any 1 of the 3 Southern Region and less than 20% In the the remaining 2 southern Region. Winning an election in Nigeria need only Just 4 geopolitical region especially the North West and the South West and that's the bitter truth, any presidential aspirant can decided to continue using this template and he/she will continue to win elections. As for those who keep disturbing us Peter Obi,I will like to see their winning formula in Next yr Elections. Asiwaju will definitely lean on Buhari support In the North -west,the south west is already in the bag,I'm sure his foot soldiers will die there in Edo and Delta for the south-south as seen even in the delegates voting, while kwara, kogi and benue will be very close. For the North-East,he can rely on Wammako,Shettima and some old war houses to lead the fight. All of these while totally ignoring the south-east,even though some people might feel offended, but this is the Buhari winning template and I'm very sure Asiwaju will just dust it up and use it again. God bless Nigeria. The truth remains that in National politics, you don't ignore any region especially when you have someone like Atiku that is a stronghold in the North. Block votes from any region means a lot in presidential elections. Even Tinubu knows This, he didn't visit the South eastern states but he invited the delegates to Abuja and still gave them thousands of dollars each, he didn't visit many northern states, he didn't visit all the southwestern or South southern states! |

Throwback: This might be related to the plan by Obiano to have his wife be a Senator from Anambra in 2023, while Bianca who was married to Ojukwu who was from Anambra and founded APGA, was denied that opportunity and reminded that she is from Enugu.
Meanwhile Tinubu's wife who is not from Lagos became Lagos Senator by virtue of marriage to a Lagosian. Also Senator Grace Folasade Bent who is Yoruba became a Senator from Adamawa by virtue of her marriage to an Adamawa man. Bro I think it's better to get your facts right, the same Bianca Ojukwu was the Anambra ambassadorial nominee that later served as Nigeria's ambassador to Spain when Goodluck was the president. |
