shinebabe: We hardly buy our fuel outside NNPC and we've not bought black market for more than a year now. The last mech that took out the pump ( even though other mechs who initially worked on it said it was the fuel pump but afterwards later found out that fuel was pumping well) didn't see any thing wrong with the fuel. So it is not the fuel at all. He only said the pump was clogged and replaced it. My husband is considering going back to him to collect his original pump since the pump refit wasn't the issue.
Another thing is that each time after jerking to a stop, the plugs are blackened and after cleaning them and allowing the car to cool for sometime , the car will start again.
We initially thought it was the plugs and changed it twice!
The mechs are tired of picking our calls now cos I guess they have also run out of options. I won't mind the gazzuzz details if he can profer a permanent solution that is not too expensive cos we've spent far too much unbudgeted funds on the car and its frustrates him everyday. Thanks Find gazzuzz contacts below, make sure u tell me wat solved d problem let me add to my knowledge too since I own same car

Reading some comments n ppl driving for two/three years without oil/filter change Driving a car on same oil for over a 1year is not good. Oil is cheap but engine is not I use total quartz 5000 n I change oil after every 4months even if I covered less mileage. |

na question o Toyota products are very durable with good second/third/fourth hand value. Not forgetting excellent resale value, d moment u put for sale on it ur phone will start ringing plus cheap n readily available parts. Almost every naija mechanic can fix Toyota BC of its simple design |

Since then never visited the mech apart from the routine services 3 years for 16yrs car May b u dnt use it often and u bought with very low mileage. Yehman: I don't have anything in common with mechanics. Rather, I change my engine oil on/before two months depending on usage. That's one secret many car users don't know. For hw long nw, what's d year of d car. Generally d more recent a car is d less wahala it gives BC it's mostly running on d durable factory fitted parts. Of course good maintenance culture plays a huge part plus mileage. A well maintained car less than 5years say 2010 production may nt b seeing a mechanic at all in a yrs except for oil change. From my experience d major problems are quack mechanics, fake parts, our bad roads n poor maintenance culture of car owners |

shinebabe: My husband has a Carina e XLI. Served for years and ha gone for even up to a year without a need for the mechanic but its parked now.
Started jerking and we tried several solution without success. The mechs or electrician will just come an assure that its a small thing, collect money an daftwr repairing, the car would still jerk. He bought new spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, changed a working fuel pump, and injector nozzles still no change. I would just start jerking especially when the car ha warmed. I know it has o do with with how the can deals with temperator anndhence an electrical fault but that's as far as my mech orientation would take me.
Have you experienced this before o know anyone with solution in Lagos? He's not a nairalander els I'd have told him to create a thread. Thankss Yes I experienced it jst 3 weeks ago hesitation/slight jerk on heavy acceleration but it was caused by bad fuel I bought. U can read d thread I created on dt. Jerk can b caused by poor fuel delivery, bad spark plugs, poor air flow etc. Going by all u ve changed i am surprised it still jerks, Since u r in Lagos I refer u to gazzuzz workshop for solution, d guy sabi work |

Destined2win: Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
You have suffered enough in this country. I have come to bring it to your notice that the time to take our destiny in our hands is now. I am destined to win and I am destined to unleash prosperity to the land and take this nation to its promised land; a land that flows with 'milk and honey'. You might be a little bit skeptical about this which is OK anyway but do not allow your skepticism to take away what rightly belongs to you.
By God's grace, I will be coming out for the Presidency come 2019. You and your family better start praying about it because your blessings will not pass you by. I am coming! I am coming...watch out!!!!! Move to joke section |

garnetty: Your platform name is better understood as STUPIDITY and not "WISDOM" which you genetically lack. Again, you are a BIG FOOL and you should learn how to address people or contribute to topics like this or anyone for that matter on this platform. If you are suffering from a down-syndrome and unable to comprehend what we are saying here or lack better understanding of what to contribute, then it is better for you to stay away or send your advice to the birds. Better still, take your "poo advice" to the next thread. Oponu lasan lasan! Lazy maggot |

usewisdom: How can i retrieve my money back?
I accidentally gave my e-currency exchanger my perfect money member iD instead of account number and he said he has paid to the number i gave him. I told him that i just realised that it was my perfect money member ID i that i gave him and not account number, he said he's sorry he has sent the $1k to the number i gave him and its non-returnable. I have created support ticket to notify Perfect Money about it.
What can i do in this situation? There is nothing you can do abt it. it's all your fault. It has happened to me once. I lost $12, it would ve been bigger if nt dt I test run with smaller amount b4 transacting. They paid into the account you gave them. D PM ID u gave them once u put U in front of d number it becomes a valid PM acct of someone. Hmmm but $1k is much to lose like dt over 285000 naira |
