ogbevireo:To partially quote my earlier input on RPL. Go to VETASSESS after a successful RPL to get a Points Test Advice. That way you will not be unsure of what points to claim. Some persons who are positive enough that they would get a positive assessment from the RPL route take the liberty of doing a PTA at the same time as the RPL. |
SnowJay92:Permanent residency. |
Ephetar:Condider PR path for either Canada or Australia. When you get there you can study as a PR. |
spyroxy1:Mr. this is a thread of responsible people. Proxy writing is a NO NO. Please take your notorious trade elsewhere. mods please take not of this guy. |
sikiy3:If you wrote everything yourself, why did you have to check your work for plagiarism? or were you trying to see if you plagiarised yourself? My suggestion is next time write your episides yourself. |
emmanjo:hello sir, find time to read pages 1 & 2 of this thread, and thereafter read at least to page 10. you will get answers to your question and you can always return to those pages as reference points. |
boboyi247:welcome. kindly study pages 1&2 of this thread (you will learn a lot from these) and as many other pages you can. after that you can ask questions that folks here can easily answer. |
Good morning all. Kindly go through the links for changes announced. http://www.border.gov.au/News/Pages/july-web-changes.aspx As hinted some time back, visa fees have changed. http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa/Fees see specific changes to subclass 189. http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/189- see specific to changes to subclass 190. http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/190- The points table. http://www.border.gov.au/visas/supporting/Pages/skilled/the-points-table.aspx I have refrained from putting the changes in my own words, hence the links. I do hope this comes in helpful. |
raretosin2000:consider being a bit more specific. that way you would get better answers. |
Mcslize:I am certain this is not the right way to ask for what you want sir. |
olly12:No sir. State sponsorship means that you get an additional 5points. While regional sponsorship gives you an additional 10 points. Remember that you are trying to get as many points as possible from the following: 1. Age. 2. Education (level of). 3. Work experience (number of years of relevant experience). 4. English language proficiency. 5. Partner. 6. Relative living in Australia (an eligible one). 7. some other factor(s) which most don't bother with) The base points you need are as follows: 1. 189 visa is 60 points. 2. 190 visa is 55 points and the state you nominate will give you that extra 5 points. 3. 489 visa is 50 points and the region you nominate will give you an extra 10 points. Kindly study page one of this thread and possibly all the pages after. Cheers. |

Azy123:Congratulations are in order sir. This is so wow!!! |
lawland:So most Nigerian Universities are in section 2. Thanks for the info. |
oscarpellenchy:Only thing I am certain of for TRA is that whatever you are submitting to them must be what is required. I mean they do not have substitutes for their requirements. |
akereconfi:RPL = Recognition of Prior Learning. If your degree is non ICT and you apply for an assessment with ACS and you do not have a certification that is equated to a diploma (CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, MCSE) by ACS, then have the option of writing about two projects that you executed within the period being assessed which prove that you have gained Bachelors level knowledge in ICT. You are expected to address four topics covering the two broad areas of the ACS body of knowledge https://www.google.com.ng/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.acs.org.au/content/dam/acs/acs-documents/The-ACS-Core-Body-of-Knowledge-for-ICT-Professionals-CBOK.pdf&ved=0ahUKEwjNz87C_b3UAhVKPVAKHe56BKkQFggoMAE&usg=AFQjCNGg3bx1rySHM1TAgEvuRD-IELdaUA&sig2=QvjJmvCRUlWYXn2a_eir0g. This would be used to determine your fit intandem with your years of experience for your nominated occupation. After this, you can turn to VETASSESS for a points test advice just to determine that your degree is equivalent to an AQF Bachelors to enable you claim 15 points for education. |
sunvick:@Sunvick, did you take the RPL route? |
Jbelieve:No, you cannot skip the assessment. It is the assessing body that will determine if you can claim 15 points for Education or not. |
OzyMigrant:Check the immunisation card. OPV is one of the furst vaccines given to your son. |
@ItzChinnex What you're saying in essence is that, instead of reigniting your love for your and children, you have decided to choose another woman. You are also saying that in about 7.5 to 15 years from now, you will choose another woman and realise that you have never known love as you will experience then. Chief, LOVE is a CHOICE. We choose those who we love. It is not just a feeling. No. It is a CONSCIOUS CHOICE!!!! |
Alphadoor:Thank you sir. |
Alphadoor:This applies to those who do not have a degree with adequate computing - without a computer major, right? @Alphadoor What do you think are my chances with the following details: Degree with non computing components - 2006. Work as a Systems/Network Administrator, Helpdesk personnel - 2008 to date. Certifications: Comptia A+ & CCNA (both are not on ACS list) - 2016 CCNP R&S - 2017 What do you think will be the result as regards years of experience from ACS? Thanks for looking through. |
Azy123:My brother, you are too much. your answer does make a whole lot clearer. Thank you so much. |
Azy123:WOW!!! Thank God for this. Success in the next stage. Please how many years of experience did you originally declare to ACS? Which of the MS certs do you hold, MCSE? From what you said, I deduce that you didn't have to go the RPL route, right? Thanks in anticipation. |
utcheylee:@utcheylee Big big congratulations. May we all sing for joy in Jesus name. Kindly throw light on this IELTS matter. Are you saying it is easier than PTE-A. NB: I am yet to take any. |
bolaobby:@Bolaobby, thanks for your response. Please will ACS consider years of working in IT before getting CCNP as experience? Also I have a CCDP. Will I get seperate points for CCNP & CCDP? |
@Bellong Meanwhile, if she read clinical pharmacy in her Masters, that means she is a pharmacist? Well, that is a long road. Yes, she is a Pharmacist, and looking through SOL, I realise it is not there. Is there another list or am I missing it. What is your own occupation? I a systems/network administrator. I intend to use my CCNP certification as my Bachelors was in English and Literature. So I might be losing some of my years of experience after ACS assesses my documents. Thank you for reply to my initially post. |
Good morning all. @Bellong and other gurus in the house. Is it possible for my wife to be primary apllicant even if she will not be relocating to AU now as she has a very good job here in Nigeria. She holds a masters degree in clinical pharmacy. So we can score higher points using her qualifications. Kindly advise me. Thank you. |
Good evening all, Please would you advise a man who already earns about #130k monthly to take up a job with the United Nations in Maiduguri? And does anyone have an idea how much UN contract staff are paid? Thank you!!! |
hUmaneOne:Thats because Bonny indigenes refused to contribute to the upkeep of the light. Only Finima town indigenes agreed to pay a token of 1k per month per house. |
If Google decides to add video chat capabiloty then it will be able to compete with whatsapp. |
Guitarlife:Why don't you call him and ask him about it - I mean Prof. C? Then start to contact all the other academic bodies where he submitted it as his paper to complain. Theu will reference the originalto confirm your claims. NB: he can edit the pdf copy. just to let you know. |
