For the payment of passport renewal I can see N2,000 for address verification and N15,000 for booklet. Is this correct guys?.
I thought they said standard passport is #25,000.

You will have to go to Abuja to do change of name and that means you are doing a new passport. They only do that in Abuja

Good evening please my sister wants to do her passport. She's married and wants to use her husband's name in her passport (DIY) please is she to fill her husband's name as her surname? Although all her documents carries her father's name. She just want to use only her husband's name and her name (she has their marriage certificate) but her NIN is carrying her father's name. Hello everyone! The IOM test centre requires hard copy of evidence of payment. Can I transfer to the SCB account and print receipt or do I have to pay at the bank?

I have already but the bank said the transaction is successful and likely not be reversed since it's between two different banks. I transferred from inside the bank. My bank is Eco receiving bank GTB.

I don’t know why Nigerian system is like this. How am I able to print out receipt and acknowledgment slip if I didn’t pay? May God help us o. I asked the officers at Servicom the last time I was there and they were telling me it’s in the production room and till now nothing has been produced. 3 passports altogether.
I hope they won’t tell me to start all over?
If I may ask, Were you asked to pay extra?

My passport was issued to me in 2017 but I haven't used a single page and it will expire January 2022(five years validity). So, I want to know if I need to submit the passport for quick renewal or I will process like fresh applicant ?

Thanks for the response. I can pay for my hotel accommodation and sponsor myself. I actually thought a month is the least they give on tourist visa, that’s why I said a month but I might not stay up to 2 weeks. To be sincere, I am just going for sightseeing and vacation in Florida…then return back to UK. I still have much to do here as a student.

I was not given a printed slip o. They only wrote my enrollment number on a white piece of paper and gave it to me. I tire o.
Na even brown file they gave me for my processing before I captured. May be that’s why my passport was showing NRF and my son xx. Just thinking though

Not at all..it freeze up after showing processing but my money was deducted, so I refresh the page but return me back to the form page.
What should I do now and how can I get the reference because it seems like it was processed but freeze along the way.

Good Morning Beautiful people.

This is my issue, i want to do a change of surname on my International Passport (as a man). Firstly, the Passport is expired since 2015. I have all documents ready to take to Sauka Abuja NISHQ.
This one that i am reading booklets are not ready, does this stop me from getting my change of name approved?

Secondly, after approval has been given, can i approach any NIS offices in the country for my new passport instead of going back to Abuja again for capturing and biometric to get the new one.

Finally, How many weeks will the approval take. I am doing all these by my self online and submitting the hard copies in Abuja from Lagos. ( I don't have N170,000 to dash any Staff of NIS for this) .
