Just felt like I should share my experience with Do It Yourself at the Ilorin Immigration office. Long story short, I'm still stuck at being unable to submit my documents for enrollment. Reason: admin charges. I was at their office for the second time today. On the advice of someone here, I asked for Servicom. The officer I met at the gate asked who I wanted to see there. He then took me to a lady who checked my documents and started talking about how there are several processes involved, including an Admin fee (which I didn't bother to ask how much, since I wasn't interested, plus another officer had told me yesterday it is 12000 Naira). My conclusion: unless you know the said Servicom unit or know someone there by name or in-person, so that you'll just go directly to him/her, avoid DIY at the Ilorin Immigration office!

Hello Nairalanders, i need your help.

My passport has expired and i want to renew it. Also, i want to get a fresh passport for my wife and child.
Question is, can i stand as a guarantor for my wife? (i have a valid drivers licence and my Intl passport has expired).
Or do i need to get someone else to be the guarantor for my wife?

submitted my documents at their office on the 19th of this month(last week Friday precisely)... I was told to wait for a call by the officer that attended to me ... but with this latest development i just want to know if I can proceed to their office for capturing.

Was at the Ilorin office today. DIY. The woman I met at the gate was talking about twelve thousand Naira admin charges plus she also mentioned that the Receipt page was supposed to be three copies. Would appreciate input from anyone in here who processed via DIY and has submitted at the Ilorin office.

made online payment on the 11th of this month, submitted the whole documnets on the 19th ... how many days/weeks do I have to wait before I get called upon for interview&capturing?? though I was told to wait for a text or call from NIS by the officer that attended to me...

it should, but you need settle them. Just an advice so they can be more serious about your application.

That is the system i'm referring to, not contact a govt official privately through whatsapp to get something done. The indiviaul will charger whatever he wants and probably pocket some of that money.

We should stop encouraging this sort of thing, Its only helping few corrupt officials

Been trying to book a date for an interview but nothing comes up when I pick Lagos u don’t even get to see that next available date stuff
But when I change it to Abuja it brings out next available date
I don’t know what’s wrong
This started over some few weeks back when I logged in
I have been denied twice and I had both interviews in Abuja
But I doubt it shouldn’t be a reason why I can’t pick Lagos
Is there any way I can make complaints to them or what’s your take on this

On Tier 2 at the time of my application. Really doesn't cost anything to be honest in one's application.

I always make my intention clear on application form and MIL sometimes spends 6 months on the dot. (maybe 2 or 3 days less )

Hello everyone. Please I want to be sure about this before I proceed.

- my International passport will expire in December 2021 and I will be applying for UK study visa for September intake this same year, please I want to know if it is advisable to use the same international passport considering that my visa is supposed to exceed 1 year and I cannot apply for a renewal until my current one is expired. What should I do? Will the remaining duration of my international passport validation affect my Visa validation duration?

Am having problems when registering .as in the page is telling me to fill the height several times. And at time it says to long too short.
So maybe some also have problem on this .
And for those that have successfull register it,how do thay go about (height) it...column?
