G.morning house pls be careful with the immigration officer you use to renew your passport in Nigeria. So many of them are theives. If you don't get the right amount for passport, they will drain y money. I will advice that anybody that wants to renew passport should walk inside their office and do it. Atimes some of them connect you to some one but that person is not working in passport office, the person has his boys that does it. The person might be working at the airport.

I will advice that immigration women are the best to use than their men. They are less expensive and have human feelings.

The normal amount to renew 32 pages is 30k, some collect more than that, try to bargain well. For 64 pages is 40k. Even if you are doing express. I even know of some1 that renew for 28k. My friend just renewed and they collected 50k from him for 64 pages, the immigration man never explained and taught that it is 32 pages and it was already late bc they claim they have submitted it online and they told him to pay for extra that the 50k surpose to be for 32 pages. We need to be careful. Money is hard to get.

For those of you that don't have national ID, the best place to renew is festac.

The new enhanced E passport 32 pages valid 5 years is 25k
64 pages valid 5 years is 35k
64 pages valid 10 years is 70k
Anything asides this is entering the official’s passport.
If you are applying in Nigeria, U dnt need any immigration officer to help you, pay online, print ur receipts and forms online and go with all ur documents to their office.
Any documentary requirements tht will be asked are specifically stated on the portal below.

Can't it be endorsed by the commissioner for oath at a customary court? (2) must the 2 passports I will submit be endorsed at the back by my guarantor? (3)My guarantor is far from me, so I don't know how to get his passport photo graph. Will they accept a scanned copy of the guarantors form from him with his passport photograph? 1. The guarantor’s form needs to be endorsed by Commissioner of oaths so customary court is ok
2. Not compulsory. Just write ur full names by urself behind each ppt photo
3. U need his passport photograph. I have nor done with scanned copy but u can try and do it in format/size of hardcopy passprt photo. They usually affix the ppt foto to a space on the guarantor’s form clearly marked out.

This is Nigeria. They love newspaper chnage of name more than they love anything.
DIY newspaper change is not hard, walk into any newspaper office . Anyone at all in ur area, with photocopy of your marriage certificate and sworn affidavit for change of name and tell dem u want to do change of name. Asin u want it published in their dailies.
They will tell u the amount, some newspaper houses charge 3 k to 5k .
You pay, and submit what u want to be published.
They will tell u the time it will be out, usually the next day.
U simply buy the newspaper for the said day and voila u have ur copy of change of name. Carry the newspaper about.

1. My NIN carries my media name but I was able to change it at the nimc office I paid a man cash and the effect was instant another one was printed with hubby surname

Am I good to go

Please guys, I need your help an answers. I paid online last week Friday and I chose Ilorin Immigration office as my interview centre, the amount it displayed was 17,800 which I did.
I already downloaded the application form, the payment receipt and guarantor's form but I have some questions
1) Where will I download the acknowledgement form that I have been seeing on this thread
2) How will I know my interview date
3) Which other documents will I carry along to the immigration office with the printed forms
4) Any other advice you will like to give me
Note: It is a fresh application

Go back to ur application usin ur applicatipn id on the portal and log in. U will be able to print out ur acknowledgemnt form. It’s there.
It looks alike to the payment slip, the difference is that it is labelled as acknowledgement slip.
U will need ur guarantor’s form, filled stamped and sworn abi signed at the high court by commissioner of oaths. That shud be 500 naira
Then guarantor shud also give u one passport photo, data page of his intl passport data and then his or her driver’s licence or voter’s card.

Documents for you are
Letter of identification from Local Government/State of origin or residence or National Identity Card OR Letter of introduction for employees of government as a Nigerian citizen stating Service Number, Length of Service and Designation/Rank. The letter must be accompanied with a valid staff identity card;
Completed passport application form and 2 passport sized photographs (passport photographs endorsed at the back by the Guarantor);
Completed Guarantors’ form duly signed by a Commissioner for Oaths attached with Photocopy of Data page of Guarantor’s Nigerian ePassport and one passport sized photograph of the Guarantor;
Marriage certificate, where applicable;
Birth Certificate (certificate issued by the National Population Commission shall be required from applicants whose date of birth is with effect from Dec 1992) or Age Declaration attached with one passport-sized photograph and duly endorsed by a Commissioner for Oaths
Acknowledgement slip and evidence of payment

U are good to go with the new slip showing ur married name.
At the paspt office u need to show the marriage certificate, newspaper publication and affidavit.

I have seen the page days before I paid the 30k administrative charge. In the page, they said 5 working days. Mine had passed more than 5days. That's why I am here seeking advice from some of you who might have gone through the similar route.

Since u are a man maybe ur own will fall under the ‘others’ category and might take up to 10 working days. However contact them via their number on the link and also on twitter. They will respond

It will be processed and if approved, u will get a code to enable u now pay for the passport.
Pls ask them on twitter how one can get the code after payment of 1st 30k.. they should be able to help.

I can only give detailed response for centres that are currently issuin only the ENHANCED new e passport, thats ikoyi lagos, abuja nd port harcourt
For this fresh e passport u will need
1. Nin slip for baby
2. Nin slip for parent 1
3. Nin slip or driver’s licence for parent 2
4. Consent letter for baby’s passport from parent 1, can be handwritten
5. Consent letter for baby’s passport from parent 2, can be handwritten
6. Data page of international passport for either parent
7. 2 passport photographs
8. Acknowledgemnt slip
9. Payment slip
10. Application form print out.
11. Original birth certificate of child

How to proceed, you go online to the immigration portal , seek out fresh passport
Fill out all necessary information till the end.
Have ur baby’s nin number because it will be asked for on the form.
Every body evn 1 day old baby must have nin to obtain new intl passprt.
It is free and u can go early to their offices, with ur baby u will be attended to.
Print out the application form before goin on to the payment
Amount shown for new e passport 32 pages is 25k, when u pay with ur card its total 26k
Then print out number 8 and 9 on the list.
Then proceed to the pasport office of ur choice with other above listed documents.
They will then tell u how to submit ur documents and day of ur interview/capturing.

For centres with less number, u can do all this in one day. Go also with originals of all documents bcus they must be sighted.

If mother has intl passport bearing former name and is different from baby’s surname on birth cert, u should present with newspaper change of name, marriage certificate and court affidavit change of name attached to mother’s data page of intl passport with former surname.

U will need ur guarantor to have either drivers license or national id plus 1 passport picture and also the data page of his own International passport. I have not heard of voters card being used before

If it is for the new e passport, they need to see the physical slip at the passport office. Try and make out time to go collect it before appearing for ur passport application

GTB, FLUTTERWAVE AND PAGA are the 3 culprits and criminals. Start with your bank, abandon that application and fill a new form so they dont come later to say it went.

Please, I was issued 90 days vignette for tier two visa after lockdown, although I applied in March before lock down. But I could not travel with the vignette and it expired last month after 90 days.. I applied for replacement recently via paid service.. Please who has experienced this, today makes it seven working days I applied, no response yet... I'm just curious.. I'm a nurse, will work with NHS in the uk

Did you communicate with your trust about all of this?
If you had 90days until last month October, why didn't you travel as flights have resumed since?
Pls discuss with your trust HR or Medical staffing as well.

Paga and flutterwaves needs to confirm to your bank that the transaction failed, they can also credit your Paga wallet/bank account directly .

If all means of resolution fails , please go to Paga office at Yaba (3rd floor ,176 Herbert Macaulay way)

Don't be quick to let go of your money. Card refunds can take up to 28 days. What was their response when you contacted them about the failed transaction?

I have spent money on calls and transportation to the bank but yet these 3 criminals, GTB, PAGA and FLUTTERWAVE say the transaction was successful. I have asked for them to provide a document stating this in clear terms as my visa application payment is still pending.
That payment was unsuccessful.
My account was debited.
I honestly do not know what to do again.
No payment ref on my visa form as the UK visa page still states I should make payment.
No document till date. This is the worst I have felt in a long time.

Have you tried calling them out on Social Media? Twitter & the likes? Perhaps, you can be patient till you achieve your goal (Visa insurance etc) then you can start, they will refund you, their image matters to them when you call them out... Sorry about your experience.

I have called them out and showed all the proofs of the failed transaction. Infact I abandoned that application so they wont come back and say the payment went through.
Now these 3 have the guts to say the transaction was successful, when the visa page is still asking for payment. That transaction failed.

I write this with a bitter heart after what I have passed through in almost 2 weeks now. This should also serve as a warning..
When your online visa transaction payment fails and you are still debited without value provided by PAGA/FLUTTERWAVE/GTB , forget that money.. it is gone.
These 3 criminals are worse than the present govt in Nigeria.
Thieves = Paga, Flutterwave and Guaranty Trust Bank.

Keep shining ur eyes especially at night, you will find a date because ppl cancel.
My cousin got date for November 12 just few days ago.
Also make sure at the top it is set on self service or assisted service.. whichever is ur choice. Just refresh and refresh. U will find at night

She's asking if this means a 10 year ban cos UKVI says she may consider applying again

You should note that because this application for entry clearance has been refused under paragraph V3.6 of the Immigration Rules, any future applications may also be refused for the same reason, under paragraph 320 (7B) of the Immigration Rules or paragraph V3.7 of Appendix V of the Immigration Rules.
 A refusal under paragraph V3.7 of the Immigration Rules may attract an automatic refusal period of up to 10 years. The period starts from the date of the previous event in which the deception or submission of falsified documents or information was employed.

Contact ur bank and log it in as dispense error so ur bank can investigate and manually reverse the 100k back into your account. Just take note of the exact amount, the date and tome of transaction and the network.
Call or email ur bank they will do their work
