Payment Update.
2.01 am this morning, NIS sent me a text.
They have received payment for my passport and that I can go and capture at Ikoyi.
I'm already in Lagos and will be doing that on Monday.
I bothered them at NIS and GTbank mehn.
Emails, tweets, screenshots etc.
Glad that episode is over.

Good day everyone. Please I did a DIY new passport application in Ibadan NIS. I did capturing on Thursday. My collection date is today. I just called the servicom number and the officer today that there is scarcity of booklet Nationwide. Please, has anybody applied and collected his/her passport recently? How long did it take u to collect ur passport after capturing? Thanks.

Thanks i eventually made payment online, I've printed the payment slip, acknowledgement slip and the Guarantor's form. I've seen my scheduled interview date. But the details required for a guarantor to provide is just too much. I hope someone will be willing to give out such. Can my dad be my Guarantor? Do i really have to go to court please?

Last 2 weeks was supposed to be my interview, went there, was told I needed a guarantor to get it done, since then I've asked everyone I know, it's either expired or they don't have

Hello my people, my elder bro has a 6 months visiting visa which is valid till march 16. He is yet to leave Nigeria because his passport was held down during the lockdown. He is planning to uae the issued visa in February to return to Nigeria on March 6. Hope this closeness to the time of vignette expiry won't have negative consequences when he needs to do visa next time.

Well, i chose Netpay but it prompted me to use bank account option.

I couldn't pay through them because my 10-year old token wasn't functioning.

So, I opted for PayArena.

After all, I see them on ATMs.

WRONG DECISION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I paid online using PayArena and got an OTP from GTbank.

Then NIS webpage froze!

No redirection to the next stage. It just froze.

Meanwhile, I had got the attached message from GTBank

I have sent tweets to GTbank, NIS and PayArena and I have also emailed GTB & NIS.

Okay thank you. I plan coming to Lagos because most of the successful DIY processes I've read on the thread so far were done at Ikoyi office. I'm not sure if NIS Osogbo will not be frustrating if I have to do it myself there.

Can a change of surname (in the case of a man) be processed at the NIS HQ Abuja or Ikoyi Passport Office? I am strictly following DIY.

I have paid the 30k administrative charge a couple of days ago. Paid online. I saw NIS HQ as the only processing centre during my payment. Is it possible to submit my application letter and other required documents at the Ikoyi Passport Office?

I'm at Ikoyi office now. I took a new passport 8 copies (N500). The forms I printed were rejected and the business thief printed two pages of what I initially had. (just the processing information missing). I was charged N1000.

They said my interview date as reflected in my doc is 14th Dec. I had to tell them my travel date is 13th night. He gave me a tough time but reconsidered.

I submitted my old passport, the officer in charge said I'll need a national ID card. I'm currently there and they are saying they've closed for the day. Me that came very early.

Every poster keeps saying service is free. But the attitude of the officers are speaking a different language if you try to follow due process. I'm beyond tired
