Well done to all the gurus in the house. I am a silent reader and I must confess you guys are top-notch. Please how best can I address error made on my application while filling *total money I make In a year*. I erroneously stated only house keep allowance without adding my salary. I have submitted the application but yet to upload the supporting documents. Please can I include a letter to address this error while uploading my documents? Or how best can I rectify the situation since I can't access the form again for correction.

U can cancel the existing application that has d error and start again. U should be refunded in 2 to 4 weeks.

Oggg
I'm sorry for my constant questions. I just need to verify before going there this week.

What's the difference between completed Passport application form and Acknowledgement slip.

Also, for the guarantor form, I'm doing the filling myself as my guarantor signed the form online and sent to me.
For the Part I, how do I fill the following..
a. Cash available
b. Name and address of Banker
c. Houses
d. Other Assets

For the Part II, is it necessary I fill it? I'm not traveling anytime soon. Same with Part III.

Thanks

Completed passport form is the form with ur details, acknowledgmnt slip is only got(ten) when u have successfully paid and ur payment accepted by NIS. In essence it is only possible to b printed after payment.

For the prts on guarantor form, fill anythin that comes to ur mind. Can be 100k

For other parts, just fill. Finish

chai so the person must have valid international passport

Yes guarantor must give you photocopy of the data page of his or her passport

Akposy:
I was going through my proof of payment slip today and discovered that my capture date was stated there (24th December,2020). Will they work on that day so?
Also for the guarantor, he sent only his passport data page and driver's license. Will this do? because I saw a place for National ID.
Thanks

Dnt wait. U can go on Monday.
Yes driver’s licence or nin for ur guarantor.
Data page of international passport for him is compulsory.
So these 2 components and one passport picture.

cefezyA:
who is eligible to fill the guarantor form can a person who have only nimc fill the form and should to court for the commissioner of oath

Ur guarantor needs to give u nimc and passport, not only nimc

I intend to find my way to the UK or Canada next year by God’s Grace. I want to go for my masters in either of the two countries although I have a masters here in Nigeria. I don’t have a travel history so I intend to take a trip to the UAE just stain the passport with a stamp of a nice country.

U dnt need travel history to get student visa for masters to UK. Just have ur complete money. Even if you have refusals from all the countries, they will take you in the UK because they are lookin for international students to bring in their money to UK now and there is admissible post study visa for 2 years after u graduate.
Check the student thread for more info.

Good evening house, thanks so much for the detailed DIY method.
I want to pay tomorrow for my brother .
But please any idea how long(days or weeks) it takes before you get a text from NIS to go for capturing etc.

I'm asking because I intend to travel in 1week time. . ?

Kindly help . Thank you

pls pay as soon as possible and go to the command’s office as soon as possible too. It is at ur discretion, u dnt have to wait for special call for capturing. The earlier the better as they would like to waste ur time

Don1985:
Hello sir/ma, my international passport will expire by next year February and I did it at oshogbo immigration office, now my question is can I still be able to renew it at oshogbo immigration office or I have to go to Lagos or Abuja immigration office to renew it? Thanks

U are allowed to renew it at anywhere you want to. You kindly make this selection at the end just before u make payment online. Note that, anywhere u select on the form, u cant change the location after u pay.

Please can I stamp my guarantor form at the Ikoyi passport office or do I have to go to igbosere court that is close to tbs to stamp the form.

guarantor forms endorsing/stamping is done at court for 500naira. Go to court.

Akposy:
I succesfully registered and paid 2 days back. I'm yet to receive a message on capturing. Does it take this long?

Also what is Commissioner oath and how do i go about it?Thanks

U dnt need to wait for a msg. Kindly proceed to the office u chose for capturing, go with all ur documents complete pls otherwise their pain that u paid online will manifest strongly.
Commissioner of oaths stamps ur guarantor’s form at customary court or high court, official price is 500 naira. Note that guarantor’s form is for fresh passport applications.

Our visa were picked up today for my spouse and 2 kids. One of these has issues which we feel should be corrected. The mistake was that one of my compound names (surname) was omitted. Say 'Compound-Name' written correctly for spouse and first kid but written as 'Name' for my last baby.

Do you think this should pose as an issue while traveling?

We complained at the point of collection, so we were asked to make a copy and leave the visa behind for corrections. Has anyone experienced this or something similar? When are we likely to get it corrected as this is delaying our flight bookings

U should get it corrected. Contact ukvi for correction. They will let you know when to submit it.
timeline also depends on how fast they work on it. There is no specified time.

Dave0116:
Oh okay I get now... But does it have any disadvantage?

No. All passports are Nigerian and accepted

I just checked immigration website it's not on the list of passports so how do I sign up for it?

Sign up for what? Sign up for passport or sign up for enhanced e passport?
U cnt sign up specially for enhanced e passport if thats what u askin. It is only for those in Abuja, Ikoyi Lagos and Rivers. If u are in these places, when u get to payment u will be charged for it.. if not, u will be charged 17,800

Good evening everyone. I tried paying online using payarena but I didn't get a validation code. The page kept on showing a loading sign.

I've been debited by my bank but my status in the application page still shows no previous payment attempt history found.

I know that i need this code to print out my acknowledgement slip and receipt. I can't do any of those right now.

How do I go about it. It's been a few hours now yet no difference

Pls look for segdoo or so On page 172. He had same issue. He has captured now. Email him and find out how he got thru to NIS, his bank and was able to get his payment intact nd he was contacted by immigration to go and capture.

Dave0116:
Please which one is non enhanced passport, what's the difference with that of 25k and how do I find it cus last time I didn't see it as part of the options when I filled my form.

Please read the last page or click on my id. This hs been answered

Lopezmiller:
Good evening. I was about to download the guarantor form and I noticed that the section with Full Name includes only my first name. My surname isn't there. Is this a problem? I have tried refreshing the page severally. My surname is included in the application form and everywhere else.

It is ok. This is how it appears

Akposy:
Hello
What's the difference between the 17,800 and 26,000 naira passport. I'm confused.

Thanks for your prompt response

Passport in ABUJA, IKOYI LAGOS AND RIVERS IS 26k... reason tbat it is the new enhanced passport that was launched last year, to obtain this u must have a NIN as it links ur NIN to ur passport and the above centres have rolled out the scheme.
On the passport there is a space for NIN NUM and it is written out there.

Passport in every other centre not listed above is 17,800 as it is the e- pappt not the enhanced one.
No NIN written on data page.

Gabriel411:
I was captured 27th November, same festac office. But till date no passport, was told there is no booklet.

There is no scarcity of booklet anywhwre. go to twitter and look for Nigerian Immigration handle and complain. Ur passport will come out.
