A moral police on social media has called out Herbert Wigwe's oldest daughter for not standing to greet the Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima.
The user shared a photo of Tochi Wigwe sitting while accepting a handshake from Shettima during one of the events organised to mourn Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba Wigwe, and their son Chizzy Wigwe who died in a helicopter crash. He then shared photos of former VP Yemi Osinbajo and businessman Aliko Dangote standing to shake hands with Shettima.
He wrote: “Same Man, different regard. Whoever that girl is,she lacks proper home training. You don't shake a person old enough to be your father while seating down.”
A couple of other social media users from the North also berated the grieving daughter.

seunmsg: This is no propaganda as Bloomberg is not a propaganda platform like AriseTV and People’s Gazette.
Slowly, the reforms are paying off. It may appear little with minimal impact for now but in no time, the impact will be felt in all aspect of the economy. We just need to be patient and endure for a while, Mr. President will fix the economy.
Ok show us the little way the reforms is paying? Not a big one just one tiny way the reforms has paid
Bahamas95: I am yet to see any Nigerian living in container houses apart from offices or security posts......They would rather build mud house and plaster with cement.
Most office spaces at construction site are done of container, they're always wooden panels inside

Don't know why this man can't do a good job, all his roads are substandard, he may be good in making monetary policies but I don't think he is cut out for governance
NairaOcean: Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago, was seen kneeling to greet President Tinubu during a visit to the Presidential Villa earlier today, March 7.
The unusual display of deference by Governor Bago, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has drawn both praise and criticism from various quarters. Picture of the moment quickly went viral on social media platforms, with many Nigerians expressing differing opinions on the act.
Tinubu is old enough to be his father, is he not the same age with Sayi loafing around in the villa?
Cindypresh: Tinupoo has been signing too many paper executive orders yet the masses on the streets doesn't feel anything but hardship, inflation and useless 30k minimum wage.
Everything about tinupoo is fraud. Where's portharcourt refinery? Where are the Indian investors?? Why is cooking gas selling at #1300??
Nonsense
These orders are to benefit his associates and not the masses
sammymax: I seriously need advice as I really don't know what the right or best thing to do at this time. Please elders in the house be kind enough to suggest what I could do.
I did not think something like this can still happen in this era but this is what I have to deal with. So my mum flat out told me she does not like the girl I took home because she is not fine. About 3years ago when we went home together she told me this but I just disregarded it like when I'm ready she won't have a choice but to accept her as she is. To be honest she is not fine at all but she gives me peace of mind which I feel is the ultimate.
She was involved in an accident with my dad last year and we lost my dad in the process. During the burial I went home with my babe again and my mum still made her displeasure with the girl show.
The thing now is that I went home again to see how she is doing and she called to speak me again after stating that I had disobeyed her by not breaking up with the girl she said is still not having her and if I insist she is the one I should count her out of the marriage. She can never come visiting or even call her. She will not attend the wedding. Now I am 32 and she is 30
How do I navigate this situation. I plead for good advice. Have you been in a similar situation how did you handle it.
On a more serious note you pray to whatever God you believe in to help change your mums perception

Hawkersv: Kingsley Moghalu, the former Deputy Governor (Financial Stability) of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has recommended that the federal government explore the option of securing a long-term stabilization loan ranging from $20-30 billion from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Speaking at the 16th Edition of the LEADERSHIP Annual Conference and Awards in Abuja, Moghalu highlighted the potential of the IMF as a catalyst for sustained economic growth, acknowledging the need for a thorough assessment of the associated benefits and drawbacks.
Furthermore, Moghalu stressed the importance of establishing a dedicated, highly professional Economic Advisory Council comprising seven experts specializing in critical sectors like agriculture, industry, labor, business, trade, fiscal policy, and development economics. He believes that such a council would provide strategic insights vital for achieving economic transformation.
TunezTV: Trending clips of young gents turning up at a birthday party in Calabar. Some Netizen have concluded that some of them might belong to the LGBTQ Community.
michlins: Taking loans to build infrastructure is way to go if they don't loot the funds. Hopefully this will be judiciously be used and open up new frontiers to further expand the economy.
Nigeria must succeed against all odds
They will loot the loan, what do you expect that Nigerian politicians are now born again, they are thieves, all of them
Gistmedia10: In the midst of their public marital struggles, Israel DMW, a close associate of Nigerian music superstar Davido, has taken to social media to launch a scathing attack on his estranged wife, Sheila. In a series of posts on his Instagram page, Israel DMW didn't hold back, as he blamed Sheila's mother for the breakdown of their marriage.
The controversial posts saw Israel DMW accuse Sheila's mother of meddling in their affairs and causing irreparable damage to their relationship. He did not mince words, using strong language and cursing both Sheila and her mother.
Israel DMW, known for his unapologetic demeanor, made sure to disable comments on the posts, perhaps anticipating the backlash from fans and followers. However, this did not stop social media users from sharing screenshots and expressing their opinions on the matter.
Na lie 😂 it will not work, because people for die plenty, the death toll will be so alarming that government will ask what is going on 😂 so it's not working
EmekaA125: You will lead the mob that will disgrace her. Lol
She will lead the mob herself with her utterances, let her mourn her husband and stay away from ondo politics, that man would have been alive if he had proper care , but she brought him back to Nigeria because she wanted to prove a point. She was playing politics with the live of Aketi.
coputa: Seychelles boasts the highest estimated minimum gross monthly wage, standing at $465.4.
In Africa, minimum wage rates are among the lowest globally, and this ing that many of its countries are still developing. However, it's worth noting that even on the continent, there are variations, and workers in some countries have a better shot at earning higher wages compared to others.
According to a Wisevoter report, Seychelles boasts the highest estimated minimum gross monthly wage, standing at $465.4. Following closely are Libya and Morocco in the rankings.
Government has to find a way to bring down the prices of goods and services, because if this is allowed to get out of hand they will not be able to control this, if they like they should continue with their political comments
Nbote: Controversies asides, Wike is actually working especially on roads
He is trying with roads, but Abuja as a city needs more than roads, he can introduce a tram, 🚃 a Power plant, a world class hospital and other things required in a nations capital, organized transportation system.
EreluRoz: If I could remember clearly, the late governor wasn't in good terms with his deputy and I think that's where Betty is coming from over her husband's niece sudden switch
The niece is an adult, Betty needs to understand, she has to carve a niech for herself and she has her destiny to follow Betty should cut her some slack
EreluRoz: I didn't see any bitterness here, she's just letting out steam. Maybe she expected more(loyalty) from the husband's niece but unfortunately people don't respect or give loyalty to the dead.
But what was the issue with Lucky and her late husband? No wahala people would use her blow steam too 😂😂😂
EreluRoz: Nobody can try that, she's deep rooted in Ondo state, her children have made her a permanent Ondo citizen. Betty is the last woman you'll try to rubbish just because her husband is no more.
Then she has to stop rubbishing others because she is bitter
EreluRoz: Betty wears the shoes and she knows better, if she calls her a serpent and a snitch then that's what she is.
Betty is just a bitter lady, that was not allowed to have her way, the niece has not done anything let her focus on her mourning before she would be disgraced out of the state
EreluRoz: Betty Akeredolu is one tough woman I love.
Her husband's niece is a snitch but she should let go and mourn her husband in peace.
Betty should understand that people only respect the living. She should let it slide.
Snitch how? Was the deputy governor then responsible for the governor illness and death? Or Betty was expecting to be made governor, I really don't understand. Betty should go and rest abeg
