All over the world, ministers in government have been given portfolios unrelated and uncomplimentary to their professions. this is the problem with us in Nigeria...always comparing ourselves with other countries..why not let's approach our problems in the most pragmatic way we can...there is no point copying others...what is good for their goose might not be good for our gander.. |

Car Talk › Re: A Simple Guide To Buying A Used Car That Will Serve You For A Long Time by ogtavia(m): 9:10am On Jul 27, 2016 |
WebHostingPal: Yeah, not a problem at all.... To be honest with you, Most BMW 5 Series are great, I've had 520, 525 and 530 series before as you may no, the only difference to them are the engine sizes. 520 is 2 Litres Engine, 525, 2.5 Litres and the last one is 3 Litres. You can't compare the power of these three models. a typical 530 Litres BMW is really powerful, even though you are doing 120 miles on the clock, it feels like you are just driving at 30 miles, it's seriously amazing.
BMWs are very strong as well, the was a guy that put a bimmer in cruise control at 70 miles per hour, he dind't know how to operate the control, and some how unlucky for him, the system lucks, break not fuctioning and cruise control wouldn't work respond. The guy was tooting other road users off the motor way, he was reaching a massive round about very fast at that 70 miles per hour, before he knew it he'd smashed into the round about.
I'm telling you the story because the guy actually survived un-hurt. A very luck guy. He only survived because the BMW took the impact of the hit, if that was another car it would have been a different ball game. That's why you see people stick to BMWs, for safety.
Below stats of some of the BMs
525 auto, running on petrol has 192 BHP engine power, with an acceleration of 0-60mph in 8.7 seconds and up to the top speed of 145 mph
525 auto, running on diesel has 177 BHP engine power, with an acceleration of 0-60mph in 8.3 seconds and up to the top speed of 141 mph
525 manual, running on petrol has 192 BHP engine power, with an acceleration of 0-60mph in 7.9 seconds and up to the top speed of 148 mph
525 manual, running on diesel has 177 BHP engine power, with an acceleration of 0-60mph in 8.1 seconds and up to the top speed of 143 mph
If you travel alot interstate and for business, you can't go wrong with a 5 series, they are all quick on the go. If you are the sporty type that like massive control, and get away quick, you probably want BMW 525 manual @ 192 BHP. BMWs are some of the cars that even though they have high millage, they still drive like brand new.
Apart from the Fomular1 cars that is 800BHP, the Hennessey Venom (GT) is the fastest road car at 270 BHP reaching 60 mph in just 2.3 seconds, so you can understand how fast a BMW can be compared to other typical house hold cars. I've seen a BMW that reaches 60 mph just under 5.9 seconds. As you may know, one of the fasted BMWs, BMW M3 GTR if not the fastest reaches 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds, that's not far from the worlds road fastest car at all. So BMs are no joke.
So if you feel like you want authority on the road go for a BMW, just be sure you buy one that is in perfect working condition, otherwise BMs parts can be very expensive.
Hope this helps and goodluck in your search... should av replied long ago..thanks for this enlightenment |

Romance › Re: See What My Girlfriend Did Because I Failed To Sleep With Her by ogtavia(m): 5:23pm On Jul 18, 2016 |
henrylowe: I started dating this girl in 2013 when she was still seeking admission. I was already done with school managing a little business for survival when she got admitted into the university. My plan was to get married to her if things went as planned.
A year after she gained admission,, she started exhibiting some questionable characters which seemed hard to cope with. She started acting like she was too busy for me, she started replying cold tgo my chat, she no longer cared and a few to mention. Well, I wasn't surprised because ladies often turn a new leaf the moment they get into the university and start having various toasters. Though, I could read these were signs of possible break up due to the pressure from various suitors and perhaps, better offers. I tried to rekindle the fire of our love by having a heart to heart talk with her but all my effort seemed to be a waste.
Her strange attitude, which I could no longer cope with, persisted until I told her I needed a break hoping she would beg me and make things right. To my greatest surprise, she said was cool with it if that was what I wanted . We went separate ways for about 7 months after which we reconciled in April, this year. After a lengthy discussion blaming each other for our unseriousness and childishness, I inquired if she was still intact the way I left her and she told me she was. (Though, I would have confirmed that during cuddling but she was on her period that day)
She went home that day and later gave me a call back telling me she needed to see me the next day in order to make a confession. The moment she said it, I already knew she had lost it but I wanted to hear it from her mouth. She came the next day telling me she carelessly lost to a dude whom she wasn't dating it barely a month after we parted ways. . I was so disappointed and sad that, how could someone I dated for one and half year without touching just throw herself to a man whom met just a month after to defile her. She cried and pleaded for mercy and since forgiveness is from God, I forgave her even though I found it hard to get it off my chest. Now, I can still see some components of infidelity in her despite trying my best not to reminisce on the past. Though, I still love her but not as before and I no longer trust her like I used to do
Nairalander, don't you think it's too risky to continue with a relationship considering the fact that the TRUST is gone already? Please am I wasting my time with this lady or I should let her go just to save myself from worry and nightmare?
Please your advice is highly needed the heart says it all..but I am not inside ur heart so I will say it the way I assume....look let her go...u said trust is gone..wats a relationship without trust...its like driving a vehicle without steering wheel..it could head anyway but nowhere good...look..if I were you...I will not even accept her...I don't support Sex before marriage so there is no justificatn for you wanting to be first to sleep with her...for the fact that she gave herself to another man isnt enough reason to let her go....i mean you guys were broken up already..not that it justifies her infidelity....things between you too will never remain the same so for the sake of ur sanity just let her go...its best for both of u |
