A landlord, identified as Ovbiebo Victor, has been arrested by the police in Edo State for allegedly shooting his tenant’s leg over the use of generator.
It was gathered that the unfortunate incident occurred on Sunday evening, April 3, 2022, at their residence in Isihor area of Benin City, the state’s capital.
According to a source, “The issue started when the landlord warned the tenant not to put on generator in the compound again. But on the said day this ugly incident occured, the generator was not on, the landlord came out with a grin and shot the generator then waited for his tenant to come back and shot him in the leg too.
The injured tenant is currently at UBTH, while the landlord is at Ugbowo police station.“

The father said he returned from work and realised his infant's milk had finished.
He went to a supermarket in Nnewi to buy the milk and other supplies for his family.
On his way home, he said armed boys stopped him and collected everything.
"I spend money finish, na only payment invoice follow me go house," the father complained.

A suspected thief has been arrested after attempting to inject a salesgirl with an insecticide in Ogbomosho, Oyo state, Newspremises reports.
The suspect came into the store on the pretext he wanted to buy a laptop. Some minutes later, he attacked the sales girl and attempted to inject her with a liquid substance later discovered to be a pesticide.

The Federal government got it wrong with the directives given to telcos to disconnect any sim card not linked to NIN & terminate access to make calls on such lines.
It will be impossible for people to make calls while in distress because their lines have been barred from making calls.
In the event of an accident or fire emergency, it will be impossible to make calls, which will result in the loss of lives and properties.
What the government was supposed to do was to ensure we have at least 2 registration points in every local government ward across the country, thereby making it easier for people to register. I remembered vividly that we do have many registration and polling booths during an election, so why can't we do the same for NIN?
Millions of Nigerians paid as much as 1,000 naira even at government local government secretariat just to have their NIN done. Even after over six months they've paid and registered, their NIN is not yet out.
Kidnappers can easily use their victim's mobile phones to reach out to family members of their victims, so thinking that NIN will be used to track kidnappers down is nothing but a huge joke.
Carefully looking at everything, the disadvantages outweigh the advantages of the current ban on lines, but time shall tell.
The current ban will cause lots of Nigerians to lose billions of Naira today alone, and telcos will not be spared either.

Please read carefully, as am about to narrate what happened to one of my younger sister who happens to be the last among us.
I was at home when I received two voice notes from eldest sister, instructing me listen to it and after which I should call her when am done.
Listening to voice notes I discovered it is that of my youngest sister, she was narrating what happened to her when she visited a friend in Enugu. She said on the 3rd of last month the guy whom they have both met twice in Awka, invited her to Enugu, on getting there and was welcomed in the house with a cake, after eating the cake she found out her eyes were turning her and she was not herself anymore.
When she noticed that, she started shouting, and telling the guy a his friends who were there that she is not herself, and what is it they put inside the cake. When the shouting was too much, the guy who invited her started telling her to keep her mouth shut, and when she didn't obey, the guy slapped her and gave her punch on her bag, but still she continued screaming for help.
While that was going on she could hear them saying why is she not sleeping yet, that this is strange, that they should call Alhaji fast, and the guys also a girl they brought there change to a snake and they all ran away.
Then it was dawned on her that this guy's are using humans blood or parts for ritual purpose, then they(guys) tried to give her water to drink but she refused because she does not know what could be inside. When they could not succeed they began sleeping, on noticing they are sleeping already she tried to escape, so she came out and climbed the fence there and used her hands to remove the Barb wires.

On getting to Awka she went to the hospital for treatment and after which went to see a Reverend father, who prayed for her and gave her something to drink which made her to vomit everything in her stomach.
When I was done listening to voice note I became angry, why am I angry? I am angry because I always give advice to her, I call her often to tell her of the various things guys are doing now, so immediately I informed my elder brother who went to her and told her they will be going to Enugu to look for those guys, on our preparing for the trip, because I am not close, she sent me a text and told me we should forget about going there, that we will spend so much money because of it, I replied her and told her she should not worry about it, and I had to talk with my dad, who said we should leave everything to Gods hands.
I have been sad since because I wanted to ensure we get those guys, no matter what it will take, because they have been using girls for their ritual and some don't come out alive.
I am sharing this now because we could not go there, as they might have friends who will inform them when they found out.

PrinceOfLagos: The President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government has come under criticism over the bombing of a Kaduna-Abuja train by terrorists.
Reno Omokri, a socio-political activist, alleged that the terrorists responsible for the bombing were government approved.

MrCover: A Five-Year-Old Girl, Success Precious Abi, has been declared missing in Abuja.
According to the mum, Precious went missing on Wednesday, March 30 after she left home with her 13-year-old brother to buy something at a shop close to their house in Kpeyegi along Karu-Karshi expressway in Abuja.
She said the brother informed her that an unknown woman accosted Precious at the shop and then took her away.
She said the owner of the shop was interrogated and she said she has no idea who the unknown woman was.
