I started using Google ads in 2013 for driving traffic to my blog. Along the way, i developed strong interest in the platform and decided to learn more about it. With my prior knowledge of article writing, keywords research and search engine optimization for blogging purpose, using understanding Google ads as a beginner wasn't a big issue for me. So i proceeded to learning more about it by conducting research mostly on Google and YouTube. |
Greetings to my Nairaland friends and everyone else. This wonderful forum has play a significant role in my journey as a digital marketer and Google ads specialist in Nigeria. On this thread i am going to share my experience and also discuss about some of the notable challenges Nigerians are facing when it comes to advertising on Google. I welcome every questions related to Google search ads, YouTube ads, display ads, shopping ads, apps install ads, and local maps ads. Please don't spam this thread with advertising. Happy following... |
chidi4eze:I have not installed rain gutters. My friend told me i should budget about 400,000. |
bizzibodi:Now you get my point. They will only break the wall if the door can't be broken. Imagine if the door is easily broken. The same thing, if their's no burglary mounted before the POP installation, the only need a hammer to break in. But with burglary, it becomes tougher. But not withstanding, this is not meant to prevent major operation. This is used to deter minor operations that can easily penetrate via the ceiling. |
Maybe man is tired of endless waiting. Everywhere hard. To borrow money is easy, paying back is the hardest. |
ITbomb:How much does it cost you to finish the sokaway and when? |
I believe it's a very good business if positioned in a busy area. And yes, if my brother brings such idea, i won't hesitate to support him. Within a few months, you should be able to employ someone to help in the cooking and frying while you handle the selling. So, for me i think it's a good thing. |
One of the best ways to make money online with your smartphone is by working as a social media manager, customer support assistant, and promoting affiliate offers. Learn about any of these diligently and you'll be glad you do. |
bizzibodi:See the attached image

bizzibodi:They won't need to break the wall if the doors are left open. As long as you can close the doors, then it makes sense to also block other easy access areas. |
calebseun2015:Things are really expensive nowadays. Last week i spent 300k on cables and i needed 80,800 more for the cables to complete. POP lights and other electrical accessories cost 256,000 Naira. I already spent about 100,000 Naira for the distribution boxes; big and small (i bought two because of solar). Workmanship is 100,000 Naira. Just for the electrical, am spending 836,000 Naira, excluding chandelier and the light bulbs for the rooms and kitchen. Though the project is bigger than 3 bedroom bungalow. |
Geeman2006:Exactly. It is much easier to gain entrance through the veranda if there's no burglary installed. So we mount the burglary before installing the POP. |
AloneTK:Not "MAY". The reality is that you will spend more, unless it's not a standard construction. 3 weeks ago i went to buy white cement. I bought the first bag at 6000 Naira. A week later the price jump to 10,000 Naira. In 2018 when i was working on a project, i bought 12mm iron at the rate of 2100 Naira. Now it's between 4300 - 4700. When i started my ongoing project this time last year, i bought a bag of cement at the rate of 2600 Naira. Today am buying it at the rate of 3,700 Naira. So, the reality is quite different. |
The estimate for the current market reality is different. I am 90% done with my ongoing project and i have exceeded 13M. You can see the progress here https://www.nairaland.com/6744668/construction-3-bedroom-bungalow-badagry |

wealthyhenry:Website analytics and Google ads are very essential online marketing skills. If you have any of the skills, or other skills such as web development, graphics design, writing, etc, you can learn about freelancing to know how you can make money by offering the skills to people who will pay for it. |

Arisenews2:Yes they don't. Or i should say they haven't and i get paid. |
US tax is not being removed from my earnings. Probably you made a mistake while filing your tax form. However, i do know that Nigeria doesn't have tax treaty with the US. |
If this is true, then people are definitely going to stop their kids from getting formal education. Formal education is becoming more expensive yet losing its value. |
I'll like to learn more about this too. There's a new coldroom around my place that i am currently doing point of sales and inventory management setup for, sadly I don't think the owner will be kind enough to reveal the secrets. |
No knowledge is waste. I'm open to hearing from people too. |
One thing must always worsen something. As long as the it's government agencies, they are free to do whatever they deemed fit. Even if they are taken to the court, they won't honour the verdict. They will always cause the problems for the masses to bear the consequences. Yet they don't get punished for it. |
We started the second phase of the electrical work. We bought cables. 1.5mm 2.5mm 4mm And about 2 more (i will update the dimension once i remember). The total cost for the cables is 385,000 Naira.
|
Update: Before i did the interior plastering, the electrician did the first phase of the electrical work since we are doing semi conduit wiring. The semi conduit costs approximately 100,000 plus the workmanship. |
Erums:I posted it earlier on the thread. The only one i think i didn't mention fully is the sealing. |
AmandaLuv:Thank you ma. The roofing sheet is stone coated Gerard. This particular one i used is shingles. |
spirul77:You might not be into fraud but with your comment, it's very glaring that you glorify fraud. You don't have to contradict yourself to sound polite. Fraud is fraud and this is not in anyway issue with the OP. She's old and so? Does that mean she doesn't know what's bad? |
Erums:Yes not added on the update. There are some stuffs i didn't even mention too, like plywood. |
Erums:We actually use 2by2 but i don't know if it's for nogging or not. Pardon my ignorance. |
