Some had the right intention to serve, but immediately they were elected to that office, a force grip them and they suddenly embark on a different journey. Pray for Nigeria, do not curse Politicians. Every one has challenges in his/her life. Like someone said in another thread about South Africans, that despite the high crime they commit, you never hear them talk bad about their fellow citizens, but Nigerians are known for it. @sandraodio , Do not be afraid, it is not about the current balance, it is the cash inflow, you will surely get your visa. They are not stupid like some people think. They know people can arrange 5.2million from their bankers or anyone locally just to get the visa. It's the honesty regarding the account activities that matter. As long as Money would still continue to be going in and out of the account while your application is there, then it's OK. They would deal with the H/Q of the Bank in Lagos not the Branch where it was printed, they know how to access each applications they receive. Just trust God, everything would come out smoothly. @imade16 , Just have a running account simple, someone applied to South Africa Embassy and Turkey witt like just 20k in his account is current balance and like 1.5million as the total amount that us come in and out of his account and was given a 3months visa each, na by God's grace, nor be by account. Just apply as long as you have all the requirements and genuine document, be confident when interviewed, well prepared and payed, them go give you once.

@Grace6,  This is the website of VFS Australia in Nigeria    http://www.vfsglobal.com/australia/nigeria/  , no need to submit you document in South Africa, walk into their office when you get all the Documents listed on the VFS AUSTRLIA NG Site and the additional supporting documents you can add to the listed one's. Note: Your will need to fill the VISA form online and print it out afterward, from the Australia Govt website which you would find a Link from this VFS Site, on the Otherlink section. AUSTRLIA TOURIST VISA TAKES 10 WORKING DAYS (2 Weeks) to be processed from the day of Submission and if you want to stay longer than 3months, you would require a Medical Chest X-Ray Exam from their reconmended Hospital and Doctor in Lagos. It's expensive shall, I would advice you go for 3months and when you arrive, you extend your Visa.

If you are self-employed, like own a company and have a letter heading paper (Conquerors) then you can drop me your email, I would give you a formatt of the Letter Of Introduction that you need to write on your letter heading paper when you submitting. I have confirmed it, so you are free to apply with no stress. But if you still interested, Apply for Fall Section, I think around January and start building your account from now till then. Cheers

[b] Ottawa intends to revoke the citizenship of 1,800 people it believes obtained their status through fraudulent means, Immigration Minister Jason Kenney says.

The decision to revoke citizenship is rare, and a large-scale crackdown such as this one appears to be unprecedented.

The people were identified through investigations conducted across the country by police and the Citizenship and Immigration Department. People identified by the investigations will receive letters informing them of the government's decision.

The move sends a "very clear message" to anyone who thinks of abusing Canada's citizenship system, Kenney said Wednesday.

"We are in the process of notifying them that we will revoke their citizenship because Canadian citizenship is not for sale," Kenney told reporters in Toronto.

The decision can be contested in Federal Court, which can be a long process. If individuals choose not to contest the decision, the federal cabinet will order their passports be voided and citizenship revoked.

Kenney said he didn't expect any of the identified cases to take legal action.

"There's a very fair and exhaustive legal process," he said. "We have strong, convincing evidence of the fraudulent activity happening."

Canada is also creating a new visa for frequent visitors, valid for 10 years with limitless entrances to the country, Kenney announced.

The visas will let people come to Canada for up to six months at a time, and as many times as they want, over the 10-year period. The new permit is expected to appeal to travellers who come to Canada frequently on business or to visit family.
