Abeg i no understand dis your analogy at all. We are comparing a time-specific event(football) with another, though important but not really time specific. Instead of asking me to record the match and watch later why not consider the easier option of watching the match live and talk later? If conversation is a two-way thing, then i should expect that calls come when there are minimal distractions( except calls that relate to the match ), besides as i said earlier, the average call takes over 30mins

We don dey try settle sha, but as i talk i go dey switch off my phone for better match, the only problem be say i no go fit quickly call any of my guys when any correct move happen during the match.[/quote]@Poster, na u I blame for this mata, suppose u send her this mail when I put for here to am, u for non de ds wahala. Still send am o coz premier league, la liga and champions de come o and i non wan hear story again o.

Sweetheart, you know that there is nobody like you! My love for you is as solid as Mount Everest . You also know that I love football – abihuh

World Cup 2010 will start on June 11 and it’s very important that I send this memo in advance as notice that things may have to change

during this period. FIFA has already endorsed the memo. Please endeavour to read the sports section of all your favorite

newspapers so that you are adequately aware of the goings on regarding the World of Soccer. This will enable us have fruitful conversations

during the period and prevent any complaints of inadequate attention noting that conversations will be mainly about the "mundial"

During the World Cup, the TV becomes mine – every time I am at home. Please act as if the African Magic Channels do not exist during this period.

Please avoid passing in front of the TV during games. When matches are on, I may be blind, deaf and mute unless I require a

refill of my drink or need something to eat!

Please, please and please!! If you see me upset during or after any match DO NOT say "it’s only a game" because it is not. It is more than a game!

Feel free to sit with me to watch the games but reserve all discussions for half time and only when the advertisements /commercials are on.

Please note that action replays are as important as the main thing!

Finally please advise your friends and in fact our families NOT to arrange any gatherings that require my attendance as I WILL NOT GO O!!!!!!
It would be a good idea for you to keep at least 2 six packs of beers in the fridge at all times, as well as plenty of things to nibble on (excluding your body parts), and please do not make any funny faces to my friends when they come over to watch the games. In return, you will be allowed to use the TV between 12am and 6am, unless they replay a good game that I missed during the day.

- Please, please, please!! If you see me upset because we are losing, DO NOT say "get over it, it's only a game", or "don't worry, they'll win next time". If you say these things, you will only make me angrier and I will love you less. Remember, you will never ever know more about football than me and your so called "words of encouragement" will only lead to a break up or divorce.

- You are welcome to sit with me to watch one game and you can talk to me during half time but only when the commercials are on, and only if the half time score is pleasing me. In addition, please note I am saying "one" game; hence do not use the World Cup as a nice cheesy excuse to "spend time together".

- And finally, please save your expressions such as "Thank God the World Cup is only every 4 years". I am immune to these words, because before and after this comes the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, Spanish League, KPL, Grand Prix, Six Nations, hell, even WrestleMania, etc.

PS: By the way if you get stuck on the road call 999 or AA as only a nuclear bomb falling on the house will make me leave my seat in front of the TV during a match.

Thank you my darling for your cooperation and understanding.

I know you love me too!!!!!!

Your one and only sweetheart - It is a goal!!!

I am still asking where exactly is this?

Many people do not realise that Ajah is just one part of what is genreally known as Lekki.

Eti-Osa Local Government where Ajah is, is even different from Ibjeu-Lekki Local Government.

So once again, I ask, where exactly is this place in the picture?

Don't tell us the street, just the area!
Although I cannot confirm it for you, the first person that showed me this pictures among several others from the same house said it was in lekki phase 1.

Bros, the freedom of information bill might have allowed you to sight his tax returns, unfortunately, it has not been passed(Harass your representatives to pass it). Professors do earn a lot of money sha o, forget all of that ASUU noise, those guys earn money and also act as consultants to Governments and foreign agencies. The difference between Ibori and Ribadu is that Ibori na confirmed thief and Ribadu na reformer.
This issue of selective justice has been discussed here on Nairaland, Nigeria as it is now can not do wholesale justice(who go do am, Jonathan?), it is when things fall apart among the thieves that the losers are prosecuted, we should just work and pray that things should start falling apart among. them.
Civil servant have to pay their taxes religiously, coz it is deducted from source.

I have a conviction that the girl in question must have nagged him so much for money that he got frustrated and decided to give her what she valued most and then leave her alone to find someone better.
I suspect I would do same in such circumstances, to let her know he is not leaving her coz he cant give her the money but that he can leave her and still give her money.

Politics › If U Claim 2007 Elections Were Rigged, Lets Take A Census Of Votes Here. by ojesymsym(op): 3:45pm On May 07, 2010
A lot of people claim that 2007 elections was rigged and that Obj imposed Yar dua on Nigerians. In that election, they were 3 major contestants in the election; viz Yar Dua, Buhari and Atiku among others. INEC released a result saying Yar Dua won the election by getting 70% of the votes counted, while Buhari and Atiku got 18% and 7% respectively.
Now my point is this, if you claim the election was rigged, who did you personally vote for? we could take a census and find out the mood of the electorates at that time.
I would have started, but although I registered I did not vote so I do not have a moral justification to claim that the election was flawed, but if you did, let us know who you voted for.
Please keep this thread clean.
Politics › Re: Presidency Never Zoned To North – Obasanjo by ojesymsym: 3:04pm On May 04, 2010
Udobass:
All the people attacking OBJ for saying that PDP never zoned the presidency to the north are not being sincere. To the best of my memory, I remember that the Late Abubakar Rimi, bArnabas Gemade and others from the north contested the PDP presidential primaries along with Obasanjo. When then did the PDP zoned the presidency to the North? Is it after OBJ won the Primaries? Or have we forgot so soon the much popular vote counting by Tom Ikimi - Obasanjo, Obasanjo, Obasanjo, Rimi, Obasanjo Obasanjo, Gemade, Obasanjo ObasanJO. Lets learn to speak the truth for it is only it that will set us free. Jonathan has the right to vote and be voted for
My thoughts exactly. I think Obj's 3rd term agenda bastardised his image so much so that even if he says "Nigeria is an african country", people will still find ways to insult him.
Politics › Re: PDP Insists On Northern Presidential Candidate - Rebuffs Obasanjo's Statements by ojesymsym: 8:59am On May 04, 2010
Lets calm down and think of it again. If there was really an aggreement, why did the northerns contest 1999 and 2003 elections and why did Odili and co contest 2007 elections. I think the northerners are simply jittery and conjuring their insinuations to mean an aggreement.
After all, the easterners thought that 2003 will be theirs, it did not mean there was an aggreement.

My counsin and I at age 6 were playing with a socket where we usually pluged our TV (Black and white) we noticed that the thing was always drawing us in, we took turns to try it and joked that the people in the TV were trying to draw us into the TV to be with them. We did not know we were experiencing electric shock. Not until we told a senior person that people in the TV were drawing us into the TV and my moms friend overheard us and told mumsy did we know we were playing with electricity. We got off lightly, we were given lectures on the dangers of electricity. I had more shocks after that in life of course, and went on to study Elect/ Elect.
