Family › Re: Modern Marriages Vs Oldern Days(those Days) Marriages, Which Do U Prefer & Why? by ojesymsym: 2:36pm On Apr 08, 2011
In the old days, girls were brought up to become wives in future. dat way u cud just pick any girl and u were at least 70% sure she was a wife material. People used to leave in compound where they were relations around, so a girl of about 12 was already helping her neighbor to carry her baby, that way she gets to learn very early how to cater for younger ones dependent on them. Nowaday, the total hours couples see themselves in a week (especially in Citiies) may not be more than 72hrs out of a possible 168hrs. But we get choicehuh?

I am wonderiing how the presidential debate organished by BON for GEJ alone was rather against Chris Okotie. We would have heard things like "The debacle precipitated in our conciousness hibatates and hybernates the mesmonic undulating factors" I can only guess what else one would have heard.
Politics › Re: CPC's Campaign In Lagos Would Be The Game Changer by ojesymsym: 12:56pm On Mar 30, 2011

Some years ago, Nigerians were clamoring for democracy. The military babas changed their style of dressing from military suits to agbadas. Now it seems like everyone is now tired of PDP, the same people heading PDP are now switching to CPC. Brainwashing Nigerians, packaging Nigerians, and infecting Nigerians with the contagious Political Virus that destroys the economy and keep the youths handicapped. May God help us from the Wrath of PDP or/and CPC.
Name one politician that has switched from PDP to CPC.
Politics › Re: Buhari Rejected Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala As Running Mate by ojesymsym: 12:06pm On Mar 30, 2011
Seun:
There are two troubling things I learned about Buhari/Bakare from the following story, told by Bakare:https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-633717.0.html
http://www.facebook.com/notes/cee-won/casting-demons-out-of-bakare-by-dimgba-igwe-of-daily-sun/200852143269405

My two areas of concern are:

1)  Buhari was presented with a running mate who was better in every way: an experienced economist, former finance minister who convinced western countries to forgive Nigeria's debt, former world bank VP, and not corrupt.  As an Igbo woman, she would appeal to southerners and progressives, and with Obasanjo's support, they could win the South-West.  But Buhari preferred a pastor of a small church as running mate, even though the pastor wasn't complaining.  Is this good judgment? Or was the man just put off by the idea of running with an Igbo woman?
And you do not see this as a man who is not ready to do just about anything in order to win.
You do not see this as a man who is not desperate to get that position even at the cost of sacrificing someone he had already chosen.
It does not occur to you that Iweala may actually be more useful in other capacities besides being draged into the mulky waters of politics as VP.

And since wen did IBB's opinion begin to matter to any sane Nigerian. I wud have tot that a lot of Nigerians wud gradly go to hell than share heaven with IBB.
Politics › Re: Pdp Is Genuinely Afraid Of Buhari Genuine Rally Crowd- Doyin Okupe by ojesymsym: 12:45pm On Mar 28, 2011
Ozin:
So very unfortunate that many people only read with their eyes without using their mind to comprehend what they are reading. This statements by Okupe is a serious indictment on Buhari and tells us of the so many reason why he should not be voted for. Most of these people who attend his campaign are as little as 5,6,7,8,9,10 year almanjiris and illiterates he never bothered to create an avenue for them to go to school while he was in power as a Dictator. He is trying to appeal to these same illiterates from the north who do not know their left from their right, using Religion and ethnicity to appeal to their emotions.God forbid that this Man win this election!!!

Politics › On D Issue Of Power: Acn To Pdp by ojesymsym(op): 9:18am On Mar 02, 2011
“I do not accept that it is impossible for this country to have electricity, I do not accept that. The people who are producing electricity in their countries, they studied the same physics, the same chemistry, and the same mathematics that we studied. They have the same blood flowing in their veins.
“If you have led a country for 12 years, you are promising us more power, but what we are getting is less power. You are promising us bigger economy, but what we are getting is a shrinking economy. You are promising us that you want to resuscitate automobile industry, somebody trying to do that wants to be importing automobile.

“Our party is a party of ideas. I have asked them if they have superior ideas, let them bring it to the market place, let us exchange the ideas. The people of Nigeria are no longer concerned about whether you zone or you do not zone. Your zone will not bring electricity, that is not what the people are concerned about. Your zone will not make the price of kerosene cheaper and that is what is giving them pain. Your zone will not give them better job, that is what is giving me concern.”
Fashola asserted that it was disheartening that importers and exporters could not clear their goods within 24 hours at the port and the port doesn’t work at night, saying ACN was set to bring a turn-around transformation if residents of Lagos could use their six million votes, people of south west could use their 15 million votes and Nigerians at large could vote massively for the party.

A young guy was complaining to his Boss about the problems he was having with his stubborn girlfriend.

"She gets me so angry sometimes I could hit her, the young man exclaimed."

"Well, I'll tell you what I used to do with my wife" replied the Boss. "Whenever she got out of hand I'd take her pants down and spank her".
,
Shaking his head the young guy replied "I've tried that, it doesn't work for me. Once I get her pants down I'm not mad anymore."

Sipho gets married and on his wedding night he calls his Father for some tips on what to do, since he has never been with a woman before.

"So what do I do first?"
His father: "Take her clothes off and lay her on the bed."

, 5 minutes later Sipho's on the phone again. "She's unclothed and in bed, what do I do now?"
His father can't believe what he is hearing, "Take your d*mn clothes off and get into bed with her."

After another 5 minutes poor Sipho is on the phone again.
"Dad, I'm unclothed and in bed with her, what do I do now?"

His dad's patience is now running thin so he says,
"Stupid son, do I have to spell everything out for you? Just put the hardest thing on your body where she pees. Good night!!!"

Just when the old man starts snoring, His son is on the phone once again.
"Ok Dad, I have my head in the toilet bowl what do I do next?"

"DROWN YOURSELF YOU BLOODY FOOL !"

Sports › Re: Chelsea Have Ruined My Mikel – Siasia by ojesymsym: 10:10am On Nov 10, 2010
I am not sure Siasia is saying Mikel is a bad player or that he has become a bad player under cheasea, he is simply saying compared to the abilities the young man showed in 2005, he is under achieving. If Kaita played half as much as mikel plays, he wud have been hailed as a good player, but for Mikel who showed so much promise and skills to now play as an average player, that is wat Sia1 is talking about.

Players get converted from one position to the other, but that is beside the point, the point is that if some one like Zidane had become a very good defender, we would have lost his attacking skills and attacking influence in matches.
