A state where 85% of the population with good jobs all work for the government.

A state with more hotels and beer palours than factories, companies or farms.

A state with over 5 institutions of higher learning that churns out grauduates in their thousands every year.

IMO STATE!!! Una well done. This is what you get when your governor spends all his time in Ibari Ogwa beer palour.

Honestly I was expecting to hear a case of money laundering and not this lie.that's like depositing over 6 million naira for 90 days and the bank didn't ask any question especially from a private individual.

90 Days means you are factoring weekends into your permultations. We havent even accounted for public holidays o!! (Easter break and May day). The truth is that for 600 million Naira to have passed through an Individuals account (Not even a coporate account) in the last 3 months, means that multiple transactions exceeding 10million Naira must have been carried out on that account over a lengthy period of time within the last 60 days (Calculating it as 5 working days per week by 12 weeks [3months] without any public holidays). So how did they get away with it. Even the Bank manager and co should be arrested for questioning as well.

Young paper boy: ur understanding is too poor..u no go school?d money passed through d account within 3months.did they say d deposit was once?did they say d withdrawal was once?.try and read well b4 u post ur commen,nt readin after u've comment.

Who is the retard?!

600 million.. Divided by 3 months of work days = 10,000,000 Naira deposit or withdrawal daily. (Thats assuming they are trying to stay under the banks radar o) So for 600,000,000 Naira to have moved through his account without detection, that means to have been depositing and withdrawing 10 million naira daily for 3 months..
600 million Naira within 3 months is a shitload of money that should have raised red flags. Wether it was withdrawn at once or with style, it should have raised flags. you cant withdraw 600.000.000 in 3 months from an ATM. You cant with draw more than 10 million from even your own account without answering some questions to the bank. You cant deposit over 10,000,000 (even in cheques) without the bank questioning you.

So what are you talking about?! An INDIVIDUALS account had transactions worth over 600,000,000 in 3 months and you dont think it should have raised eyebrows.

I no blame you sha. My understanding may be poor, but I think your own poverty encompasses your entire existence. My post would be hard for you to comprehend when all the money wey dey your account can be pulled out from an ATM machine in just one transaction. When your kidnap value is under 100 Thousand naira, I no expect you to understand matters running into hundreads of millions. Go and ask those people who have ever banked huge sums of monies that require their pictures to be taken how hard it is to move heavy sums of money around in banks.

600 million?! shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked

OKAY!! Let me think out loud here for a second.... So if 600million passed through his account in 3 months, shouldnt the money be easy to trace back to its origin? undecided
Someone must have deposited the money in his account. How about they trace back to the day of the deposit, what bank, what name, was it in cheque or cash. Banks have CCTV's, if it was a cash transaction, the day of deposit can be found and the tape reviewed. Shouldnt the bank had red flagged his account when such large amounts of money are suspiciously passing through his account?! Didnt the bank sense money laundering? How was he able to withdraw 600 million naira with such ease from a bank under this new 'withdrawal cap' of 1.5million (abi na 10 million) that Sanusi put in place? When such large amounts of money are being dealt with, banks always photograph the bankers of such monies, so did the bank do so?! If the bank didnt, then is the bank manager an accomplice?!

Too many unanswered questions..

this story sounds like a lie.

Yes dear!

Did I tell you about my fetish for women in uniform? Yup! I love me a woman in uniform as well. Police, Nurse, air hostess, navy, army, etc. I once gave an Army Woman 5'k in Owerri simply because she was pretty and smart looking in her uniform and was carrying an Ak47. She had just stopped me and searched my car, but all through her search I couldn't help but think about doing her.

I cant work under a female boss. Not because I'ma chuvanist, but simply because women in power turn me on. Diezani-Allison is one of such women. There is just something about boss women that I love.

Should I ever have a female boss, all I would be thinking about is ploughing her. Nothing else.

chidindufrank: How on earth did such sad event occur Does it mean soil texture and stucture were not evealuted before embarking on the construction What are the works of urban/rural planning authorities if not to determine the land of best fit for buildings? So sad people lost their lives because of the incompetent foolsss possing as men incharge of the ministry of works.

Wy would yo jump straight to soil texture?! Why didnt you consider poor engineering work, poor cement to sand ratio, poor reinforcements of the support pillars and beams, poor iron work, e.t.c. You jumped straight to soil texture and then proceeded to attack the ministry of works as if they are the contractors that built the house.

hardbody:

Bros you obviously do not do long distance travels. All the parts you mentioned do not just spoil, except you do not carry out last minute repairs/checks before you travel. However things like pads, fan belt, etc can give at any point on the way. A towing van may take you to the nearest mechanic workshop but acquiring them especially if you drive state of the art vehicles is not very easy. As for calling for help, let us say you have left Ore behind for 30 minutes and you have a breakdown, coming from lagos, which of your mechanics will you call? just asking

OBVIOUSLY you are not one of my followers on NL.. grin If you were, you would know that I am a travelling man. I have several threads to prove it sef. Infact, tomorrow, I'm off to Benin from Port-harcourt for the weekend. Now let me give you small gist. In preparation for my trip tomorrow, I just left the tyre shop where my spare tyre is being fixed at the moment. As I left, I tried to change one of the bulbs of my front lamps (not the headlight, but a smaller light that comes on when I put on my parking lights) and I couldnt even find where the bulb screw point was. Then I looked down and I couldnt see my fan belt. Anybody who drives cars manufactured in the last 5 - 6 years knows that most part of your engine are fully covered. The best you can do really is to add coolant, hydraulic and wiper fluid.

My point sir is, if your motor spoil for road, the standard government approved practice is;

1. Pull your vehicle to the side of the road.
2. Put on your hazard lights.
3. Place your caution sign atleast 10 - 15 meters away from the vehicle to warn other road users.
4. Call for help.
5. Do not seat inside the vehicle whilst waiting for help to arrive.

For those who have Triple A, they always have a number to call. If you dont have any number to call, clear your car of all valuables, take out your vehicle particulars (and leave behind a number that you can be reached on incase it gets towed by the government in your absence), hitch hike a ride to the nearest town and find a tow truck to go retrieve/recover your vehicle. #Thatsall

Fanbelt, water, e.t.c are not necessary.
