Thanks for the comment guys. I understand that most of you are disappointed with the way the updates are coming, but bear with me, I've got loads of work now and I hardly find time to update. Secondly, my phone is faulty and I find it hard to use it. But I promise that if you guys stop vexing indirectly for me, your encouragements will push me to update and just like Alone, this story will be coming twice in a day. Your encouragement is all I need. And I'm sorry for not performing up to the expectations of you guys.

I opened the door and there was Tobe, dressed in a packet shirt and jean trouser. He was looking cute as usual but who cares?
I tightened my face in a frown as I leaned on my door frame.

Me: Yes Eddy, good morning. You look like you're just coming from church.

Tobe: Pamel please stop.

Me: Stop what exactly? The greeting or the.....

Tobe: Do you have amnesia?

Me: Uhm.... Yes. So forgive me if I'm having problems with remembering you.

He reached out and touched my head, caressing my forehead the way he used to.

Tobe: Are you serious?

Me: Tell me why you're here please. I was busy inside before you came.

I showed him my hand which was stained with ketchup.

Tobe: I want us to talk Pamela. I'm......

Me: Tobechukwu Onuoha. How's your wife?

He swallowed hard and I smiled, then he tried to say something but was too surprised to say a word.

Me: Surprised? Now, if you've got nothing important to say, get out of here before I call the security on you.

Tobe: Pamela, I.......

Me: You know what? Get out. And don't bring your miserable self to my door again. Fool.

I banged the door and went back to the kitchen. Amber was busy with tomatoes but she looked up immediately I stormed in.

Amber: I wonder the guy who is so unfortunate to come to your house this morning. Who's he?

Me: You were eavesdropping?

Amber: Nope. Just wanted to know what was keeping you, then when I came there, you were shouting so I just left. I'm sorry if......

Me: No. It's alright. He's my ex, he was dating myself and my roommate. Now, he's married to her.

Amber: Holy Moses! And he had the effrontery to come here?

Me: Just let it go. Is the rice ready?

Amber: Yes. Have taken it down. Will Leonard come for breakfast?

Me: Oh! Let me call him.

I picked my phone from the kitchen table and dialed Leonard's number.

Me: Hello

Leonard: Hi babe. What's up?

Me: You back from church?

Leonard: Yes dear. I'm with Harry now.

Me: Will you come over for breakfast?

Leonard: Of course dear. I need to change my taste of food. Let me ask the guys.

Me: No. Wait.

I knew they were going to agree and then, Tobe will come here to disturb my peace again.
I heard murmuring in the background and i knew they were contemplating on coming.

Leonard: We'll be there in an hour.

Me: Leonard, I.....

Leonard: No worries babe. I know what you're thinking but trust me, you'll enjoy our company.

Me: Okay. Amber is still here though.

Leonard: Very nice. See you girls soon.

I hung up and dropped my phone.

Amber: Any problem?

Me: They will be here in an hour.

Amber: They?

what if she used mortuary water?
What if it's for ritual or witchcraft?

No body is asking people like u to come and eat... The people that the food is meant for will not ask all this question. Thank God for ur life.

To begin with, there's nothing like 'regionalism' in power play. Power is simply an alignment of interests and forces. The term 'regionalism' is only used to colour it so as to drag the masses into their plan. Get that? wink wink

Secondly, that some Yoruba heroes were used and dumped by their Northern allies doesn't amount to 'racial stupidity'. It's just politics! Besides, those things wouldn't have happened without other yoruba collaborators. If you're so learned and we'll versed in history, please explain the following scenerios; why did IBB killed Mamman Vatsa (despite being his close friend)? Why did Ojukwu refuse to participate in the 1966 coup led by Major Kaduna Nzeogwu (a fellow igbo). Why did your Lord and personal saviour Ojukwu later joined NPN (a core nothern party) despite his hatred for the Hausas? Again, could you please explain to us why Ojukwu never won even a state in the South East when he contested for President under APGA? Or that is a show of solidarity? wink

Now to debunk your falsehood peddling;

Whilst I don't know much of what transpired between the military hierarchy and Benjamin Adekunle, the little history lesson I took suggested that he was framed of drug related charges (marijuana in particular) which then was a 'coded' trade of senior military personnel. I don't see how one man's misfortune amounts to the betrayal of the whole yoruba race.

Secondly, if your history teacher didn't die young, he should have told you that Awolowo (later in his life) wined and dined with the same North which he vehemently opposed Akintola to relate with. Hence, his retribution was certain. Between, Judas like Jakande, MKO et all sold him out.

Now enter MKO; it's quite mendacious for anyone to categorically state that it was the North that denied him his mandate. You and I know that Abiola has stepped on too many toes (even amongst his kinsmen). Aside being the financier of some coups in Nigeria, he's also one whose hands have been soiled...

In conclusion, as far as Nigeria's politics is concerned, there's nothing like the yoruba, igbo or nothern agenda. It's simply the power brokers agenda, and the masses are the pawns in their chessboard. No ethnic group can assume presidency in this country without allying (or rather conniving) with another ethnic group...

Whatever happens to Bola Tinubu, it's his own fair share of retribution in politics. Afterall, he too had betrayed a lot of people in this game. It's not a yoruba problem please. So please stop peddling falsehood, not everyone is as daft as you are.

Shalom!

Family / Re: My Wife Absconded With Our Kids by OkoAnike(m): 9:17pm On Oct 03, 2016
* I called her mother, she said I should come see her but my family stopped me, since we never had a fight and I was not the one that sent her packing that she should be the one to come.
I’m missing my kids, they’re my life, I don’t know what to do *

Huummmm... What can I say...

First of all, sorry for what life has offered u on this side of life.
Now let address the challenge at hand, please ignore your family request not to see your in-laws, sit down like a man and make a decision you can stand by, not the one ur families are enforcing on you, it's your life stand on your feet, if that will be the only line of peace and happiness to you and your kids(they are your future).

I red through what children are posting as advice (Divorce), sorry you are on your own if you are thinking of divorce @this point.

Please note, children are the most vulnerable in respect to divorce, please let it be your last line of defense for your children, because they will be the one to suffer it most from their STEP MUM OR THE SO CALLED FAMILY MEMBERS.

Tread softly my brother and find a common ground for the existing family, please pay the price of putting your home together, it's of great reward.

Again let me pick from the word of my father, if you divorce /reject your wife because she can't cook, sure u will get another one that can cook but mind you she might end up slapping u in public... No perfect person, manage what you have.

On the last note, for people who are not married... Please marry your long standing friend, it's saver that way.

God bless our home, family and our future (children), again God bless this forum.

What influence does a man whose party has never produced a governor (prior to APC's formation) in his home state has? undecided

Prior to 2015 election, The so-called popular man lost even in the North to GEJ (a southerner). Probably you were too young or your history teacher died so early in life, else, he would have taught you that the late M.K.O Abiola defeated Usman Tofa (a notherner) even in his own state. You think elections are won by so-called 'popularity' as against machinery? 2019 will clear your doubts.

Funny enough, your saviours so-called popularity has been blown away no thanks to his economic somersault policy. By then, I'm sure he'll be defeated even in his polling unit in Daura.
