snowdrops: FIFA is a cabal. They are a lord unto themselves and not answerable to no one else. Amid all the allegations of corruption this would have been an opportunity to finally clear the air. They should have handed the investigation to an external and independent body, who should have proceeded with the probe irrespective of a resignation.

Please, those who can speak French should not intimidate us on this thread as this is not a thread to chat in French but to teach French. People should help OP with the task if they can speak French and should stop greeting the poster and asking for email/facebook id in French (una no dey see anytin in skirt?). I will advise that you start a thread to chat in French probably in the Travel section.
@OP Continue the good job. Please make it easily understandable for beginners like me. |

mystolad: @oladayo thanks for your previous reply, Will like to know courses that are less competitive (Science), i went to a polytechnic out of frustration. i justdont want to go for HND the discrimination is becoming embarrassing.I put in for Unilorin for my DE and UTME. Since i can still change my course, can u pls recommend less privilege science course for me.
Thanks in anticipation for your quick response. I'm sorry for my late reply. I would not like to tag a course less privileged but it can be less competitive. Zoology, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, and Plant Biology do have relatively less prospective applicants (my opinion though) but I wouldn't advise you to change your course because of this. Don't change your course simply because you want to get admitted at all cost - you may likely regret it later. Have a nice day. |

saxywale: lies, wtf is 4icu web ranking . This is the world ranking based on research and academic performance.
http://www.urapcenter.org/2010/country.php?ccode=NG

Thank God my Uni carry number 2 position. I am already believing your post (source) until I found UCH, Ibadan on that list. How did UCH, which is a college under UI, got on that list as an institution? My visit to URAP website shows that they rely on data from two sources viz: Google Scholar and Information Sciences Institute (ISI). The question now is: how many scientific work from Nigerian universities got captured by these two sources? How many universities in Nigeria maintains an excellent Open Courseware? Hence the Western domination of universities ranking. Before you thank God that your uni came 2nd on that list, you may like to know that the data used for that ranking are collected in 2009. I quite agree that 4ICU ranking is a joke because they rank universities based on website popularity. That is the only reason UNILORIN can be ranked first and will continue to hold that position for some years to come because UNILORIN maintains an up-to-date website with real-time updates. Memo from the Registrar's office find its way to the website immediately they are released. Prospective students wrote their Post-UTME and checked their result online the same day. Students who wrote exams will have their results online in few days (sometimes three days). The school is currently building its Open Courseware online. How many universities in Nigeria do the same? URAP also failed the same test failed by 4ICU. URAP got its data from the website of the sources listed above and these data cannot be truly representative of what exist in countries like Nigeria where education is virtually delivered manually. |

The reason why the "found abandoned theory" is thriving so well is because nobody is interested in asking questions. Everyone is just saying "thank God they are free". The victims themselves are far more concerned about their freedom they rarely narrate their ordeal undiluted. NPF will continue to feed us with more stories like this without details unless people start asking how, where, and when. |

Nice one. crackhouse: Mr man, your 4.5 in private university is equivalent to 3.0 in government owned universities. I have a friend that graduated with 2:1 from a private university and the guy did not merit it but it was given to them by the university because they were the first set of graduates from the university and it was done to attract more people to the school. How do u justify that?. It's similar to what happens in private sec schools whenever they sit for S.S.C.E, they always give answers to students so that they will perform well generally and u know what that means. good results, more people. Thanks for your swift and accurate response. |

pro01: Omatseye has always been a brilliant essayist and wordsmith, and that's all there is to it. I wonder why some people ascribe too much importance to the OPINIONS of columnists. The fact that they have the privilege of a public space to ventilate their opinions does not perforce indicate the preeminence of such opinions over and above those of any other informed member of society. I merely enjoy brilliant columnists' prose, literary craftsmanship, and caustic wit. That's that. The substance of their articles rarely holds any special appeal for me. . .they're merely PERSONAL opinions, which everybody else has. May God bless you. For those who are saying it is wrong for him to compare Bankole with Jesus Christ, I see nothing wrong with it at least he expatiated his comparison. It is just Sam's opinion of what Bankole is. |
