Lol.. you guys take your opposition to ridiculous amusing levels. The president is sick and is attending to his health, any complaints should be channelled to the Ag. President, that's why you have an Ag. President.

Besides, on a personal note, if I were Mr President, I wouldn't make a single attempt to speak to anyone under these circumstances until I return. Anyone who says they would die if they don't hear my voice, such a person should kindly do the needful with a wet NEPA transformer. The hard truth about this whole 'where is the president?' saga is that it is coming mainly from people who wish the president dead... They just want confirmation of answered prayers. grin
Is the President's sickness so precarious that he can't make a 2-minute direct conversation with his people at home? Besides, I thought Lai Mohammed and Femi Adeshina said he's "hale and hearty"? Wow! You can do better than this.
PoliticsIt's Official, PMB Indeed Spoke With Trump by OLADD(op):

Project which image?... Saying the president 'MAY' speak to Nigerians?... How does that project what image?
Project Buhari's image as being a listening leader. You and I know Buhari doesn't give a hoot about Nigerians' feelings. A president that went on vacation two days after 236 citizens were "mistakenly" killed by the military could be described as a callous leader.

Just listen to yourself again, how can opposition elements plant a story to project the image of the ruling party? That story was concocted to reduce tension about Buhari's health.

Now what's the difference between this your thread and the rubbish vomited by Daily Post?

How do we know if Daily Post has not become a willing tool for falsehood and propaganda just like The Nation Newspaper.

Former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Director of New Media, Deji Adeyanju, has lambasted those supporting President Muhammadu Buhari, describing them as “brainless".

Adeyanju, a former Media aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, made the remark while frowning at the alleged selective nature of the ongoing anti-graft crusade.

The former PDP Media Director, who took to his twitter handle@adeyanjudeji wondered why former National Publicity Secretary of the party, Olisah Metuh and ex-Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode were being prosecuted over campaign funds.

In a series of tweets, Adeyanju faulted the action of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, under its acting Chairman, Ibrahim Magu, to prosecute both Chieftains of the party over campaign funds when they obviously didn't know the source.

The tweets read, “The @officialEFCC under Magu is doing well, but it should never have persecuted FFK or Metuh over campaign funds.

“The selective persecution of FFK & Olisa Metuh over campaign funds is a serious dent on EFCC.

“Did FFK or Metuh know that money they got were Arms fund? They were just members of a campaign team/party. “How does this amount to me defending corruption? Most of you APC & Buhari supporters are brainless.”

Nobody is loosing sleep over Buhari's health but peddlers of fake news must be stopped lest our country becomes a laughing stock in the committee of nations.

Buhari would help himself if he puts a call across to Nigerians but Adeshina did not promise that.
PoliticsLie! Adeshina Did Not Say Buhari May Speak To Nigerians by OLADD(op):
The rate at which Nigerians are been fed with outright lies and half-truths by questionable characters and agents of this administration whose missions are yet to be known needs to be put in check. I read with consternation a news item attributed to Daily Post wherein Femi Adeshina was quoted as saying Buhari may call Nigerians in the aftermath of Donald Trump alleged phone chat .The story was not only false but a caricature of the actual conversation that took place between Femi Adeshina and Seun Okinbaloye on Channels TV flagship programme-Politics Today. I watched the programme live and there was nowhere Adesina quoted Buhari as saying he'll speak to Nigerians.

The conversation went thus:

Seun Okinbaloye: Maybe (sic) the president can speak to Nigerians from UK(ostensibly asking Adeshina if Buhari can speak to Nigerians having spoken to Trump on phone)

Adeshina: You just said maybe( laughing hysterically).

In a nutshell, Adeshina never said he spoke to Buhari on the possibility of him speaking to Nigerians. He only responded to the poser thrown to him by Seun. It would be a welcome development if the phone call happens in the nearest future but twisting facts to deceive the citizens is irresponsible.

That's the problem with kids like you. The naira free fall is down to Buhari's haphazard forex policy and not necessarily stolen fund. Those monies were allegedly stolen in the last adminstration yet dollar exchanged for less than N300 over a long period of time even when oil price plummeted. Can't you people think?

Andrew Yakubu, Deziani and other PDP members "stole Nigeria dry", yet naira remained substantially stable under a corrupt govt.

However, less than 2 years under an incompetent, propagandist, comical and directionless Buhari's govt, a dollar is exchanging for N506. What a country!

You're giving too much credit to them by suggesting that they are fighting corruption.

How can a corrupt person like Buhari fight corruption?
Does he understand what corruption is ?
What about his dirty , corrupt deals at the defunct PTF ?
PTF was a cesspool of unbridled corruption.

What about his self-admitted NEPOTISM ?
Isn't NEPOTISM the mother of corruption ?
And just like we predicted, aren't members of his inner cabinet corrupt ?

Can we ever know the level of corruption and sleeze currently going in on in ASO Rock this very moment ?
The level of hypocrisy in this govt is appalling. Shady characters are the ones championing anti corruption crusade, such a misnomer.

A bad half loaf is worse than none. In other words it's better to remain hungry than eat a poisoned meal in the name of beating hunger. And as people would always say; what's worth doing is worth doing well.

Fighting corruption with lopsidedness and selectiveness is nothing but waste of time. It's even more dangerous than financial corruption.

Any leader that engages in selective justice would never, I repeat, would never succeed.

Get it into your consciousness; no fight against corruption is currently taking place in Nigeria. What we are having is an orchestrated theatric meant to keep Nigerians busy and further divert public attention from APC govt gross incompetence. Period!

However, they are distracting Nigerians with stories of looted and recovered funds. Recession in Nigeria is caused by poor economic policies of present administration.

They are gathering sympathy from Nigerians to cover Buhari's health issues and failure of his administration to make good economic decisions.

Corruption robs its supporters of comprehension ability
Don't misconstrue people's clamour for holistic approach to anti corruption crusade as tactical support for graft. No reasonable Nigerian is against corruption war but it must be executed with honesty. Going after a class of people and treating others as sacred cows is what people are frowning at. Stop twisting facts.
