Did you actually type that,I hate people that have no brains,Alameisesha was arrested by UK police with more than a million pounds cash and him and supposedly skipped bail by dressing as a woman to escape. He was duly convicted and plead guilty for corruption stop the crap about his conviction being poltical. Dont you have any sense this is the dumbest comment ive seen since I joined nairaland.
God punish your body, soul and spirit. Do you think you are talking to the kindergarten on Nairaland? Was there any part of my post that sggested Alams was not arrested in the UK? Was the process for his travails not initiated by the Nigerian authority? Was he the only Nigerian politician involved in money laundering in the UK? You are sick upstiars.

I have been a civil servant for 10years now no family is corrupt in Nigeria because families don't work in government individuals do, when you are confused like Jonathan you won't know what to do or say than to admit stealing is not corruption, Abah Morro stole money from poor Nigerians and killed many Jonathan couldn't do nor say anything what is complex about that, let's be factual that 2015 no power in Nigeria
If there's anybody that's confused and foolish, it's you and your unknown family. Did you say there's no corruption in Nigerian families, you must be corrupt yourself. May God Almighty ruin your life if you have ever stolen in anyway.

my brother/sis what do you do to saboteurs ? take tea with them? you brought Jonathan out from your comment, when people swear to you never to become somebody what do you do? fold your hand and watch them? if there are traitors why not jail them? I think you are the child here!
You made me laugh. How many saboteurs would he jail? If you know the magnitude of corruption in Nigeria which dates back to our independence, you wouldn't have uttered such statement. Without unnecessary exaggeration, every Nigerian family and institution is corrupt. Take this for instance; if Buhari really wants to live by what he preaches, he should never be found in the company of those who flock around him in APC and I can bet it with you that he wouldn't have emerged the presidential candidate of that party. The money used to buy delegates for him, what was the source? In other instance, do you know how many times the president had reshuffled the military hierarchy in the fight against Boko haram, why is it still persisting? Should he replace all military personnel (both senior and junior)? The Nigerian situation is much more complicated than you think.

my brother if TINUBU said ``four years is enough for him to give Nigeria steady power supply '' until now am still in darkness, we will all speak up against him, Jonathan as the president will be blamed in all ramifications because if he feels TINUBU has committed he failed to go after him who should you blamehuhhuh
Please stop been childish. Did Jonathan forsee Boko haram insurgency that takes away large chunk of Federal budgets and revenue when he made that promise? Nigeria is a complex country where haters of positive change will do everything to frustrate govt plans. Do you know the length saboteurs have gone to undermine Jonathan's effort to sanitise electricity sector? Have you forgotten how the late Bola Ige was frustrated by NEPA personnel during his tenure as Minister of Labour and Power? Do you know how far the opposition has gone to ensure Jonathan does not succeed? Please be liberal in your thoughts and give this govt a break.

2 wrongs dont make a right,The President should not have said that in public plain and simple.
It's true two wrongs don't make a right but the president must have had his reason for uttering such statement. There are many things that happen in govt circle which are hidden from public view. If the actions of OBJ (Alams' nemesis) are taken into consideration, one might not be wrong to allude Alamesia's travail to political vendetta for choosing to align with Atiku in those days. It's now glaring that most of the people convicted by OBJ during his tenure were his sworn political foes.

Tragic that Nigeria ended up with GEJ. A development like this, with the President of the biggest black nation on earth caling a criminal his "boss", shows how badly Nigerians got it wrong voting GJ in 2011.
You are just cunningly been cynical. If your father decides to abandon you and your mother, does it erase the fact that he's still your father? Is Buhari, a coup plotter who truncated democracy in 1983 not been regarded as a statesman?

Is Tinubu who escaped outright conviction in the US for drug related offence through plead bargaining not been seen as the face of APC today? Is Femi Gbajabiamila( the opposition minority leader in the House of Reps) who was convicted in the same US for stealing client's money while practising as a legal counsel) not been celebrated in APC? I am not a fan of Alamiesia but one thing you cannot erase is the fact that he was once the boss of the president.

It's unfortunate we don't have men of honour in Nigeria again. Our once respected mouthpieces of the masses have suddenly become agents of opposition politics and this is sad. Femi Falana in his newly acquired chameleonic gait will never see any aberration in INEC's lopsided distribution of PVCs(where Lagos had 37% collection rate less than a week before the initial election date; where a sitting governor Fashola only succeeded in collecting his PVC yesterday!), he would never speak about attacks on the president in the north, he chooses to close his eyes from Boko Haram's killing of PDP supporters in Yobe after Jonathan's campaign, he never sees anything wrong with Buhari's impunity and lying on oath, he will never see Buhari's apparent violation of INEC's requirement for his credentials to be attached to Form 001. Why is it difficult for a black man to stand on the path of truth all through his life time?

Politics › Re: Mass Movement For Goodluck Dumps Jonathan For Buhari by OLADD: 7:37am On Feb 09, 2015
Clerverly:
Group known as Mass Movement for Goodluck (MMG) that alleged to have worked for the President in the 2011 general elections, has dumped President Goodluck Jonathan for the All Progressives Congress (APC)‎ presidential candidate, gen. Muhammadu Buhari, and metamorphosed into Mass Movement for Buhari (MMB).

‎Addressing the Northwest members in Kaduna, the National Coordinator of MMB, Kenneth Ibe-Kalu said President Goodluck Jonathan and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s failure to deliver on their electoral promises and good governance prompted their action.

According to the coordinator, the ‎PDP had failed to meet the yearning and aspiration of the citizens sequel to which the people are clamouring for change.

He, therefore, called on the good people clamouring for change to ‎ensure that they collect their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) which he said will be their voting power, just as he admonished the APC supporters to shun all forms of violence.

Responding after receiving the Northwest zone members into the ‎APC fold, Alhaji Abdulkadir commended their courage to join the change train, while assuring them that the APC government is the answer that will salvage the country from imminent collapse.

‎He urged them not to stop at just changing their nomenclature but to be proactive in the quest for change and spread the message to every nook and crannies of the country until the desired change is achieved.

“The PDP knows that their time is up and waiting only to hand over to an APC government come May, 29th, 2015, but let us not relent in sensitising people and be an ambassador of change in wherever we find ourselves.”

He also tasked them not to give in to any form of provocation by the PDP, while reiterating the need for them to shun any form of violence, remain calm and carry out their activities within the ambit of the law.

Even if Jonathan's Campaign General decides to jump ship, one thing that remains sacrosanct is that Mohammadu Buhari WILL NEVER rule Nigeria again. I am 100% sure of that.
Politics › Re: PDP Hails INEC Over Elections Postponement, Urges Supporters To Remain Calm by OLADD: 5:54pm On Feb 08, 2015
APC's cry against the postponement was never borne out of patriotism but sheer primordial interest. For a party that raised alarm about INEC's unpreparedness(through Fashola in Lagos few days ago) to suddenly make a U-turn by calling for the elections to go ahead as scheduled, certainly raises questions. The party was obviously buoyed by INEC's PVC distribution that placed the north (where Buhari has cult following) far above the south where Jonathan's strength lies. The PDP having realised this decided to trigger its 'Veto power' and the rest is now history. A master will always be master. But sentiment aside, INEC was glaringly unprepared for the initial Feb14 date even though Jega will never own up to that.

I really don't understand this woman anymore. It's clear she has deep resentment against the government of the day for one reason or another. She wasn't this vocal and condemning when she was part the over corrupt Obasanjo's government.

She was mum all through Obasanjo's 3rd term scandal and various other scandals at that time. What really does she want? a portfolio?

She would be one of those screaming blue murder if the election becomes seriously marred by violence. The NSA have come to say that most of the combatant soldiers are fighting a war in the northeast and won't be available for the election and she's screaming! Saying the excuse is not strong enough. Close to 40% of registered voters have 't collected their PVC's and she's screaming. The election is moved to just six week! six bloody weeks! pray tell, what can happen in 6 weeks to suddenly favour one party.

I've just realised there's no pleasing this people anything you do, they must criticise you. I think it's time to press the mute button.

Carry-on my amiable Presido! We're rightly behind you.
May you continue to be joy for your family.

If those statistics are true amidst opposition-induced and re-invigorated insurgency which has seen large chunks of our Federal Budgets allocated to fight Boko haram, then President GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN (a good son of Otuoke, the husband of Mama Peace) must, I repeat, must rule this ogbonge Nigeria till 2019. Politics › Re: BBC's Report On Postponement Of Nigeria's Election- A Must Read by OLADD: 11:34am On Feb 08, 2015
Some of these foreign media(BBC inclusive) can be disgusting. If there's anybody out there who expects a sitting government to be stampeded out of office through propaganda and intimidation, such a person must be subjected to psychatric tests. BBC in their one-sided opinion did not inform the world how the president was attacked in northern states where the opposition candidate has a large support base, how Boko haram attacked and killed PDP supporters in Yobe immediately after the president left his campaign venue, how PDP leaders and faithfuls were intimidated from speaking bodly in the north, how the southern part of the country where the president has his largest support base has the lowest PVC collection rate (Lagos for example had 37% collection as at yesterday), how the opposition has been telling lies and brainwashing harpless Nigerians through unsubstantiated corruption allegations (the resent been the fanthom "missing" $20b that turned out to be outright lie). Why is the eye of BBC and other partial foreign media closed from these anomalies? Why is it a recurring decimal for BBC and CNN to report Boko harams successes and play down Nigerian millitary's inroads? We are no fools. It's evident that foreign media are collaborating with APC to truncate our democracy and disintegrate the nation but they are bound to fail.

These incompetent lot had more than 1 year to restore normalcy in the Northeast in preparations for the elections, and yet (typically) they failed miserably. Now, suddenly these baboons want Nigerians to trust them to do their job in 6 weeks.
