Since APC brainwashed Buhari,we have witnessed incessant killings of innocent people, just to discredit Gej and now they have come up with another propaganda.

mulante: Think about it for a second. Does our crop of military men have any trained snipers along them? I have never heard of it. This is actually a welcome development that we should be proud of and that should be encouraged. It will be very useful in rebuilding confidence in the Nigerian army, defeating terrorism and maybe eliminating some useless politicians... I'm not totally opposed to the last option. I agree with you completely. If Obasanjo is found to be in the camp of those trying to bring this nation down because of selfish interests, he should be wiped out with immediate alacrity. It's evident that OBJ's claim of loving Nigeria was because of personal interest as against national interest. The refusal of Jonathan to be remote-controlled has suddenly made OBJ to run amok. At a Point NEPA or PHCN was ajudged the most corrupt agency in Nigeria, Under GEJ it has been privatised and now a private secto driven entity in a process hailed as one of the most transparent in the history of Nigeria by foreign and local commentators
The Ferilizer Distribution system before Now was a major drain Pipe for government resources , Billions and trillions were always allocated but the farmers never get even a seed of fertiliser. The story is different today, Nigerian farmers armed with information technology via mobile phones are in charge of Fertiliser distribution thanks to GEJ agricultural revolution!
The Ghost workers whose salaries have always gone to criminals in the public sector today have their work cut out, GEJ introduced the IPPIS system which has not only eliminated ghost "workerism" it has also save the nation billions of Naira GEJ constructed the Abuja - Kaduna light rail which will commence operation in March 2015 covering 180Km built at a cost of $500 Million or N80B. APC ' driver General whose Port Harcourt Mono Rail covers 4Km and has gulped $1.2 Billion or N180B has an unknown completion date.
Furthermore the completion of the Lagos Blue Light Rail project is unknown . It covers 57Km and has consumed $1.39 Billion or N208B this project is been supervised by the APC National Leaders house boy Fashola!
GEJ signed The Freedom of Information Bill into Law, till date all APC governors have refused to domesticate the Law! What are they hiding?

tbaba1234: The Nigerian military responded with anger Thursday after its soldiers were dismissed by the defence authorities of Niger as “cowards”, in a rare public tit-for-tat between the two countries involved in the fight against extremist group, Boko Haram.
Niger’s Defence Ministry had in an earlier statement said its soldiers, unlike their Nigerian counterparts, do not run away in the face of battle with Boko Haram militants.
“Our soldiers are not like Nigerians. They don’t run,” the statement said.
In series of tweets, the Nigerian Defence Spokesperson, Chris Olukolade, branded Nigerien soldiers “looters”, and accused them of providing fighters to Boko Haram.
Mr. Olukolade said it was unacceptable for Niger, involved in a Multi-National Joint Task Force, MNJTF, with Nigeria, Cameroun and Chad, to insult Nigerian soldiers who fight to defend their country.
Mr. Olukolade, a Major General, described the Nigerien military as “treacherous” and “poor”.

Even the International community condemned the way and manner our soldiers were extra judicially killing innocent civilians. And that was what Buhari had problems with. 4. Politics › Re: S’south Got Lion’s Share Of PTF Projects Under Buhari - Figures Don't Lie by OLADD: 1:25pm On Feb 12, 2015 |
PassingShot: Contrary to the perceived lopsided siting of the intervention projects executed by the defunct Petroleum (Special) Trust Fund (PTF) in certain geo-political zones, the South-South zone got the lion’s share of the projects under the leadership of the former head of state and presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Gen Muhammadu Buhari.
This development and other disclosures were contained in a document obtained by LEADERSHIP last night.
The PTF was an intervention initiative put in place by the late Gen Sani Abacha regime which was operated between 1995 and 1999 to invest in socio-economic infrastructure – including in road transportation and waterways, water supply, food supply, health and education – the gains that would accrue from a new pricing regime for petroleum products introduced in October 1994, from N3.25 to N11 per litre, an increase of N7.75 per litre.
During the four years of its operation, the resources available to the PTF, according to findings, represented less than 10 percent of the nation’s budget.
From its inception in May 1995, and more particularly from January 1996 when it received its first disbursement, the PTF worked diligently in the execution of its mandate through its programmes, with an objective of resuscitating the nation’s collapsing social services and deteriorating infrastructure.
According to findings, a working formula was adopted by the Fund that recognized three categories of projects and allocated funds available to them: federal projects, 48.5%; state projects, 50% and FCT direct allocation, 1.5%. The state project funds in turn were allocated to respective states/zones using a set of criteria that gave consideration to equity, population, land/water mass, terrain difficulties and needs assessment. The location and coverage of the
PTF programmes and projects were designed to carefully fulfill these criteria.
In terms of allocations made to fund PTF projects as at May 1999, out of an estimated total of 187 billion Naira to all projects and programmes, about 56.5% was committed on projects in Zones 1 (South West), 2 (South East) and 6 (South South), i.e. the zones in the south of the country. Zones 3 (North West), 4 (North East) and 5 (North Central) had a combined allocation of about 43.5%. Indeed, in terms of difficulties in natural terrain, the projects in Zone 6 (the South South), such as road construction, were the most capital intensive. The highest zonal commitment was on capital projects in this zone, with 26.2%.
In terms of actual disbursements to projects by May 1999, 52% of all disbursement was made in respect of projects in Zones 1 (South West), 2 (South East) and 6 (South South).
Shortly before the inauguration of President Olusegun Obasanjo, Buhari submitted his resignation from the Board of the Fund. The rest of the Board of Trustees effectively became dissolved at the point of scrapping the body, in late June 1999.
http://leadership.ng/news/411492/ssouth-got-lions-share-of-ptf-projects-under-buhari Op, don't ever think that all Nairalanders are fools. I challenge you to publish the list of those projects purportedly concentrated in the south for us to see. |
