When will these evil minds in APC stop deceiving Nigerians? Corruption today, corruption tomorrow all in a bid to paint Jonathan's Govt in bad light and score unmerited political points. Can APC do us a favour by publishing details and evidences of these corrupt acts in national dailies so that we can form our opinions, or rather approach the court for prosecution instead of telling lies everyday? Why has opposition politics gone this dastardly? No amount of mudslidding, propaganda or campaigns of calumny will push APC and Lair Mohammed near Aso Rock. It will NEVER happen.

I really pity the situation GEJ find himself because in the strict sense, GEJ is not a bad person as alleged by many, he's just inept and lack charisma to lead.

Some people are born to lead while some are born to follow. GEJ find himself in leadership position by chance, but the truth is that GEJ belongs to the group of followers.

GEJ can't give what he don't have because he has given his all.

Buhari belongs to the leadership category in as much as he's not educated and eloquent like GEJ, but he possess the qualities of a leader. Those criticizing him should observe him closely and they'll notice the manifestation of leadership written all over him.
What a beautiful nonsense! Some people are just incurably daft. How can someone sit down to type this poo?

Politics › Re: Channelstv Presidential Debate: A.P.C Should Stop Misleading The General by OLADD: 4:07pm On Feb 02, 2015
barcanista:
Two days after Muhammadu Buhari Campaign spokesman announced the boycott of the amiable General from the PDP sponsored NEDG Presidential Debate, ChannelsTV in partnership with ARISETV and Newspaper Proprietors Association of Nigeria announced their proposed Presidential debate between the Amiable General Muhammadu Buhari and His Excellency President Ebelemi Jonathan. Fans and supporters of the General including yours faithfully jubilated and really looked forward to the clash of the political titans. We were happy because unlike the NEDG composition where all the members have ties with the PDP and the Presidency, that of the ChannelsTV/NPAN/AriseTV carries a toga of fairness and neutrality. It came as a shock when I read the news of withdrawal by the APC strategist Mr. Dele Alake

Channels Television owned by Chief John Momoh is one of the only few unbiased broadcast station. John Momoh has dinstinguished himself as a professional Journalist right from his days in Radio Nigeria and Nigeria Television Authority. He has never held any appointment for any party neither is he known to fraternise with any political party. If any Television Station enjoy respect from among their pairs for their stand on neutrality, that station is Channels TV.

AriseTV is an international broadcast station with broadcast houses in London, Lagos, New York and Johannesburg. I am yet to see their frolicking with any Nigeria politician or government official. They are unbiased in their reportage.

NPAN is an association of all the print media owners. In other words, both the neutral, biased, political and non-political are members of this Association.

Considering the composition of the debate coordinators, one cannot help but agree that the unbias of the organisers is not in doubt. The APC should allow the amiable General to go head to head with the President, and allow Nigerians the chance to assess both candidates. Personally, I believe in the ability and administrative skills of the amiable General, I also believe in him to take on the President and floor him in the debate. This will not be the first time that the General will partiicipate in a political debate, he debated in 2007 and 2011 and was very impressive. His accent is not a problem to me as long as he passes the right message. APC should allow the General participate and stop making it look like the General is afraid of debate. The excuse of Dele Alake is unacceptable and illogical. I hope that the party will reconsider their position.

God bless the General
God Bless Nigerians
God bless Barcanista the defender of APC! Are we beginning to see a clear departure from those bias pro-Apc epistles again?
Now to the crux of this thread. When people like us on the other side of the divide try to expose APC's hypocrisy and hoax, we are simply labelled paid agents. The party and its leadership are embodiments of lies and pranks. They preach one thing but do otherwise. First, it was the NEDG debate which they claimed was been organised by pro-PDP journalists and before Nigerians could say jack, the Channels-led debate team is also compromised according to APC. What a shame! If Buhari wins the presidency (God forbid), will his govt sideline AIT, NTA, FRCN, CHANNELS and stick with TVC alone? WIll his government stiffen out those 'biased" stations from existence just as he did to media houses between 1984 and 1985? This apparently indicates how devisive Buhari and APC can be, always petty and arrogantly suspicious. Buhari, with due respect lacks charisma and power of oration and that explains why many of his speeches at campaign grounds are shallow and brief. So with this obvious, it's a suicide mission for him to appear in a nationally and internationally televised debate(Channels is also on Cable transmission) a fact widely known by many and that's what APC should own up to instead of taking Nigerians for fools. Why should APC try to package someone with those vices knowing the pivotal role Nigeria plays in AU and other organisations? How will Buhari project himself and the nation when he represents us at the UN and other global summits? With the certificate issue still unresolved, shying away from two different debate platforms does not portray GMB as a good "material" for Nigerian presidency.

I have done a thorough assessment of APC as a party, its nothing but an assembly of conmen, devils, murderers, alarmists, nation-destroyers, propagandists, fraudsters, certificate forgers, back-stabbers, thieves, election riggers and everything that represent insanity. A vote for APC is a vote for backwardness, failure, retrogression and above all, disintegration of the Nigerian nation. “Fellow Nigerians, People accuse me of many things. But one thing they never accuse me of is corruption. They never accuse me of mediocrity, or of lying. People accuse me of many things. I have led this country and I have a record. We were not perfect, but we were effective; we solved problems, and we made Nigerians proud. In our government, we fought corruption, we stabilized the Naira, and we shut down insurgency. We shouldn’t forget so soon that there was the Maitatsine ravaging the North east and we dealt with it. We also overran the Chadian rebels. We rebuilt industries, Nigerians queued up and treated each other with respect; Nigerians took pride in our reputation for
discipline. The world admired us. We were proud to be Nigerians.

However, because they can’t attack our record, they accuse me falsely of ethnic jingoism; they accuse me falsely of religious fundamentalism. Because they cannot attack our record, they accuse us falsely of calling for election violence – when we have only insisted on peace. Even as
Head of State, we never imposed Shariah. All my running mates have been either Igbo or Yoruba and are always devout Christian of indisputable repute. I have and will continue to condemn those who burn God’s places of worship, be they churches or mosques and wish God’s
judgment upon them. As your President, their punishment won’t stop there, we will also ensure Boko Haram and other such elements, are found, are arrested and face the full wrath of the law as punishment for their crimes against our country.

My dear friends, this is very important to note: It doesn’t matter if you are Igbo,Yoruba, Ijaw, Hausa, Idoma, Efik, Ekwere, Urhobo, Igala and, no, it does not matter if you are Christian, Muslim, animist or atheist: we need a new direction under a new leadership. The task ahead will be challenging and daunting, but it is surmountable. This is what leadership is about. My only desire is to prove to you that Nigeria can truly work. Allow me prove to you that in your lifetime, you can be proud of this country.

Let me make you this promise today: We will protect your children. We will protect your wealth. We will make this country work again. This is why I am running for the office of the president of Nigeria. This is my promise.” – Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR).

Christianity Etc › Re: Why I Rejected Rolls Royce Gift — Pastor Bakare by OLADD: 7:59am On Feb 01, 2015
Johnnyessence:
FORMER CPC vice presidential candidate and founder of Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare has declared that he earnestly yearns for a better Nigeria where good governace, equal distribution of the nation’s resources amongst others for all citizens.

The former running mate of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) made this remarks while ministering during the inauguration and commissioning of Grace and Glory Chapel in Ikeja, Lagos, while giving reasons why he rejected a car gift for his 60th birthday.
Pastor Bakare said he was not interested in becoming a local champion in a city of the blind, recalling that, some persons brought him a 2015 model of Rolls Royce during his 60th birthday which, he said, he out rightly rejected, adding that he was not in need of such exotic car while majority of Nigerians are wallowing in poverty.

“I want to see good governance. I want to see discipline. I want to see equitable distribution of resources. I want to see the poor being educated. I want to see a nation that works,” Bakare said.
Continuing, he said: “I don’t want to be a local champion in a city of the blind. I am not in need of a 2015 model of Rolls-Royce which was presented to me as a gift.

“I was sitting at home one day and they brought in a brand new 2015 Rolls-Royce into my house. My 60th birthday was coming. I looked at it, kai! This is awkward. When you open your car, your door goes this way, its own door goes that way. It clears the way so that there is nothing blocking your way.

“I saw a button. They said: it is an umbrella sir. It is on every door in case it is raining, you just push it and the umbrella comes out. I said: Na wa o. Then I said: Oya, leave this place.

“Where is the road that I will ride it upon? My heart is not in things like this. I asked my son to take a photograph of the brand new car as a proof,” the controversial pastor noted.

Bakare also averred that poverty has made most Nigerians to believe that anybody without a jet has not arrived, adding that majority of those who bought jets can no longer maintain such jets and are busy leasing them out.

www.vanguardngr.com/2015/02/rejected-rolls-royce-gift-pastor-bakare/
This is sheer sycophancy. I watched a sermon by him some years ago where he spoke against celebration of birthdays. He specifically inferred that the birthdays celebrated in the biblical days ended in disasters using that of Herod's daughter who requested for the head of John the Baptist as an instance. How come he violated his preaching by holding elaborate birthday party in 2015? I am not criticising him but men of God must live above board and eschew partisanship.

I can say unequivocally that Buhari is worst than IBB in terms of deceits and evasiveness. He seems to have mastered the act of subtlety and pranks. Instead of informing his old school to send his WAEC certificate directly to INEC, he chose a silky path of having it published in the media, that's an act of gross irresponsibility and arrant disrespect not only to the electoral body but also to the Nigerian masses he wants to preside over. This traits of arrogance and catch me-if-you-can were also displaced penultimate week when he blatantly told the lawyers who had instituted a suit against him "to remain in the court". This is unbecoming Buhari and it must stop.

I refused to be deceived and stand to to be correct. Since the inception of campaigns for the 2015 elections i have not heard any news of bomb blast in any part of the country seeing that these rallies and campaigns are easiest and best target for maximum casualties in any terrorist attack. Is it that these Boko Boy/Girls are on strike or someone asked them to suspend their attacks for a while?
You want to know the genuine reasons? Pls come along with me;
1. They have accomplished 90% of their mission in making Nigeria ungovernable and pitching the president against the people.
2. They have portrayed Jonathan as a weakling who's powerless and ineffective in tackling insecurity.
3. They have successfully laundered the image of the opposition (APC) as the messiah of Nigeria.
4. In addition to 3 above, Buhari, their apparent apologist has been projected to some gullible Nigerians as Mr. Saviour.
5. Boko haram is a political tool been used by some powerful political powerbrokers in the north to BRINGBACKTHEIRGOVERNMENT.
6. As a result of the hype in the media suggesting APC(Buhari) may win next month's poll, Boko haram and their sponsors feel it's high time they soft-pedalled so that their people (real and fake) can go out to collect PVCs in order to "vote" enmass for a northerner.
Be it as it may, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is the president-elect next February.

"I Can't Believe That Buhari Has The Nerve To Seek Re-election As President".- Osuofia
Bartholomew Owoh, one of the three young Nigerians executed by General Buhari for an offence that did not carry the death penalty is the elder brother of Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh popularly known as Osuofia, emerging facts indicate.
A source close to the Nollywood actor revealed this to BREAKING TIMES on Thursday on condition of anonymity. According to the source, Nkem Owoh and the rest of his family have not recovered from the trauma of the cold-blooded murder of the three young men, particularly their brother and son, Bartholomew Owoh.
Bernard Ogedengbe (29), Bartholomew Owoh (26) and Lawal Ojuolape (30) publicly executed by Buhari for a crime that did not carry the death penalty at the time of the offence.
It will be recalled that Buhari, while he was military Head of State promulgated a decree prescribing death penalty for anyone caught for drug trafficking. But the trio of Lawal Ojuolape (30), Bernard Ogedengbe (29) and Bartholomew Owoh (26) committed the offence before Buhari came into power.
The laws of Nigeria at the time the offence was committed did not http://chinedusamuel..com/2015/01/so-sad-how-buhari-orderd-execution-of.html
Well, I am one of those who criticize GMB for the apparent reactive execution of the trio and I think he deserves the bashings. However, we must be very careful in our messages so as not to be seen as justifying the actual offences committed by the deceased guys. Drug trafficking, in my own assessment deserves capital punishment. Why? A drug peedler, who's not caught in the act must have succeeded in indirect "execution" (destruction) of many people. So, I think drug traffickers should be hanged before they succeed in "hanging" others through their heinous and illicit trade.
However, before we loose our track on this topic, Buhari without prejudice, should be condemned for that brutish execution simply because the maximum penalty prescribed by law as at the time they committed their respective offences was prison terms. He must have been driven by excessive power drunkenness, a trait that must not be allowed in this modern era.
