You Yorubas are not even known for that level of bloodshed[/b]. Certain Igbo clansclowns have been known to destroy entire people. Do not try us. That is definitely a warning. No need to create anymore animosity with the Igbo, because do you think we have forgotten what your people did prior to the Civil War. We do not forget so easily nor do we forgive. I have family in Lagos who would be willing to defend their people. Do not try to back a people into a corner. That is when the fighting will be worse.[/quote]Because we are peace loving people. But that should not be ovestretched.
You people are too lazy with big mouth.
PoliticsRe: Nchara:stop The Lies Igbos Are Less Than 10% Of Lagos.bendle Are More Than Igbo by olafolarin(m): 3:44pm On Aug 01, 2010
Our igbo brothers are fond of running their mouth and over-estimating their relevance.
The igbos on lagos streets know they are well outnumbered by other tribes. They are just petty-traders,shop-owners and market-women.
This thread will definitely spread embers of hatred and tribal sentiments.
The Igbos should not over-emphasize their size and importance as they did sequel the civil war- which made them organise "January Victory parties" in barracks
to the anger, disdain ad chagrin of other tribes who saw that as a slight. The result was the counter-coup and subsequent attack on Igbo families everywhere. The Igbo nation should learn from history.

chyz:
Boy if yall try that so many of your people will die that it wouldnt be funny.the igbos in lagos will fight yall and plus igbo militant groups will come in large numbers from the east like they do when northerners start effing up. You yorubas better not try that for your own good. Obasanjo isnt there to support the OPC like he was doing when he is in office so your best bet of protection would be the army stopping eastern militants from entering lagos. And you no its true.Try it!
Are you sared, Stop sweating and relax a little,

Obasanjo never supported OPC.If tribal war should break out in Lagos,it will be more than genocide for the Igbo nation. The Yorubas accommodate everybody and we all should not take that for granted or as a sign of weakness. If push turns to shove, lagos will be turned into Omo-Eko land. The bloodshed will be enormous.
Instead of spreading such embers of tribal fire, wee should all talk about what unite us as a nation. The Igbos are hanging on too much to civil war and its tragedy. Its time to move on.
PoliticsRe: We Are Eager To Send Pdp Away, Says Tinubu ! by olafolarin(m): 10:40am On Jul 31, 2010
Can you people tell me what you have against Tinubu? It better not be those over-flogged Chicago certificate issue.
Tinubu is grooming the best of the best progressives in SW Nigeria right now and he deserves the praise for laying a solid foundation for Fashola. He eS one of the best despite OBJ withholding his constitutional LG allocations for years.
Under free and fair elections, PDP will never win any election in Yorubaland.
Oyinlola and Raji Rasaki were both former governor in Lags state and what did they achieve?
PoliticsRe: Showdown At Ota Bridge Commissioning ! by olafolarin(m): 5:16am On Jul 31, 2010
They are both fools. They are both fighting over a single bridge and just some few kilometers away from Sango, a governor commissioned 106 classrooms,Okota-Itire Link Bridge ammongst others without drama.
Gbenga daniel is the most disappointing of all.He became governor with a giant name and will leave with that of a midget.
It is really unfortunate this is happening in Yorubaland that is known for its progressiveness. No thanks to OBJ(Gorrilla from Otta farm) for forcing the likes of OGD,Oyinlola,Oni and worst o all Akala down our throat.
Prosperity will condemn Obasanjo for desecrating Yorubaland

EducationRe: Which Federal University is the cheapest in Nigeria by olafolarin(m): 8:58pm On Jul 24, 2010
scoro99:
@niyi09, if this is what u paid, then OAU is not even among the top three cheapest schools.

But then, it all boils down to the periods we are talkin about.

I studied Accountancy in UNN( between 2001-2005), i paid #4205, #1805,#1205 and #11500 respectively for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and final year, not up tp 20k in total.

I think Unibadan is the cheapest, my cousin paid #800 when i paid #1805.
So expensive,

UNILAG is much cheaper.I attended UNILAG between 1996- 2000 and the highest school fees i paid i
was N550 and that was in my final year.
I did Work-Study program through whch i earn N400 per week at the time.

My personal phiysician who is German Caucasian can give you a million and one reason to support male circumcission.
Most notable is the increase in sexual pleasure.
Have you seen rashes on uncircumcised dicks well hidden under the covering skin?
It is "eklig".
I have tribal marks on my face which now looks beautiful but you all need to see my passport picture when I was 3 to understand the pain I must have gone through.
PoliticsRe: Blow By Blow Account Of How Elections Are Rigged In Nigeria By Donald Duke by olafolarin(m): 1:52pm On Jul 20, 2010
This is really explosive and shows how difficult it is to conduct elections in Nigeria.
Obasanjo thought he is smart but Tinubu is much smarter and resourceful.

PoliticsRe: The Trouble With The Yoruba by olafolarin(m): 3:58pm On Jul 15, 2010
Yoruba was a united nation until 2003 when Obasanjo used "divide and rule" tactics to impose himself in Yoruba politics and polity.
Political ideology in Yorubaland is very progressive and we can all see what destruction Obasanjo and his PDP travellers has done to Oodua land.
All the South West PDP governors couldnt show anything for the huge revenue they get from the FG.
Because obj WANTED TO RULE AT ALL COST;HE IMPOSED MEDIOCRES on us all.

Akala as the CEO of oyo state has no constitutional right to depose Alaafin Of Oyo Kingdom.Suffice to say that Oyo kingdom transcends state border. It controls some little surrounmding towns around oyo and Osun states.
There is a big difference between Traditional ruler and political ruler.
Akala knew his time is up and is justing trying to stir up controversies in order to be relevant in the scheme of things.
He will be booted out of office come 2011.

PoliticsRe: Kalu Returns To Pdp-Abia To Be Up For Grabs Between PDP And APGA by olafolarin(m): 2:01am On Jul 13, 2010
Kalu onviously has no values and his political relevance is at zero.Going back to PDP shows how desperate he is to be relevant in Abia state politics.I hope Abians will not be fooled by this crook. He should be held responsible for all the fraud & illegality he personally committed as well as all he forced on his successor.
PoliticsRe: EFCC Raids NFA Secretariat by olafolarin(m): 10:34pm On Jul 12, 2010
Cybercafes in Nigeria are scouting ground for scammers.EFCC should spend more time investigating corrupt officials than wasting public funds on pages of newspapers.EFCC is more active in the media than on ground.
There is enough rot in NFA to jail the entire exco and technical committee but can Farida Waziri do it?
PoliticsRe: Ribadu To Emerge As Ac Presidential Candidate by olafolarin(m): 8:08pm On Jul 11, 2010
chelseabmw:
ac to go down
Never!!!!!
AC is the most progressive Party with performing governors right now.And for AC to be supporting young, performing politicians is very good for my generation.AC will definitely perform if Ribadu flies their Presidential flag.
It'll ge enough votes from North and entire SW.His running mate will determine the SE vote.
PoliticsRe: Sanusi Hits Banks Again: Calls Them 'Gambling Centers' by olafolarin(m): 6:58pm On Jul 11, 2010
I still don't support foreign take-over of the "troubled" banks because it will end up in capital flight and increase the depression of the local economy.Virgin Nigeria is a good example.
The banks should be allowed to increase their liquidity, pay up their debts and get rid of toxic Loans in their books.if after these, they're still "gasping",strong local banks can be encouraged to completely buy them over.
This will enforce cut-throat competition in the industry as weak banks will be easily consumed by the stronger ones and the
banking public/economy will be better for it.
Since capital injection some banks have done so well with increased liquidity and rosy balance sheet.Such banks should be left off the hook.Unless Sanusi has ulterior motives which will detrimental to the economy.
His unguided and outrageous comments is not good for the healing economy.

Ghana's population is around 20 million divided in different while Lagos is also that populated but centralised in one place.
Lagos in effect needs more infastructure to cope with the teeming population.

PoliticsRe: Action Congress Rules Out Zoning For Positions by olafolarin(m): 3:30am On Jul 10, 2010
VPersie:
I still do not get why Nigerians deceive themselves that there is any semblance of practiced democracy in Nigeria. Is it that the failure of our country has so hunted us that we are prepared to cling to fantasies of credible elections so we do not lose our sanity. Lets be clear: Almost no election is free or fair in Nigeria. Election in Nigeria is not a matter of party ideology or candidate capability, its a matter of which party is more able to rig than the other and which judge decides your case at the electoral tribunal. Politicians, especially those in PDP, do not necessarily need your vote to come to power. If they did, they will take the governance of this country more seriously.
It's for the same reason we need to booth PDP out of outlives so that we can witness serious and responsive govt.

PoliticsRe: Governor Akala Orders Dele Alake's Detention by olafolarin(m): 4:02am On Jul 07, 2010
From both reports,it's clear that Dele Alake is completely exonerated from the case.
His security detail fired the shots and that has nothing to do with Dele Alake himself.
Dele Alake can not be charged charged with conspiracy because because there was no evidence to show his involvement, order or action.
PoliticsRe: Lagos State Ten Point Agenda by olafolarin(m): 7:24pm On Jul 06, 2010
Fashola recently commissioned 103 classrooms in one day which is more than the classrooms built by all PDP governors put together.
Mini Water works with IPP was recently commissioned which will boost water generation and distribution to lagosians.

We should put hands together and support what is good.fashola is the best in Nigeria.
We thank Bola Tinubu for giving us such a performing governor.

While Akala was bleaching skin and refusing to pay teachers salaries,Oni busy increasing school fees from N20k to a staggering N200,000 and owing civil servants up to 6 months salary arrears,Gbenga daniel killing every opposition, seeking N100B from Bond Market at the twilight of his adminstration.-fashola was delivering dividends of democracy in every facet of lagos lives.
