skyro:Hahha...bros, I am a complete ajepako. That is why I find the adventure so endearing to me. Infact, I lost my dad 3months to my post-UME. I met a girl in the post-UME hall at that time (immediately I stopped seeing the first girl) ,I immediately knew she was above my class.I wrote her post-UME for her n she gained admission the following year. I told her I was interested in her before I helped her write the exam n she told me to just chill. But after helping her I felt I wasn't gonna be sure maybe she loved me or was just repaying me.She was spending so much on me and always showing be off as d brilliant dude to everybody even at times when I was ashamed of the way I looked n dressed. She was really nice, very adoring, she would cook for me n all that. Remember I already wooed her and she asked for time, but I never repeated it again after doing her that favour, because I was never gonna be sure of the love.Even at the age of 17 I knew this was not the life I planned to live...I can't allow a girl spend on me n maybe keep loving me ONLY cos I am a kind of trophy to her. I made this vow when I was 14. And that was the point I was making, most guys can't figure these things out in their 30s. I see issues people bring here n I just shake my head. It is not rocket science to know a healthy relationship. But I waited n met the girl of my dream n I knew immediately!!!!.We both struggled together , her father was a pensioner throughout her undergrad years. Yet, she would never demand common credit card from me .she schooled in Ado while I schooled in Akure, we will contribute T fare if one of us needed to visit. She is extremely creative and can turn anything into beautiful work of art, due to her talent n her background in Arcchy. Looking at her alone is enough inspiration for me to be extremely successful , n it has spurred me into doing great things, likewise her too.I just gained a scholarship after NYSC , I didn't have a dime to come ...we found a way n here we are. So when I read alot of derogatory stuffs about women n relationships here...I can only smh.Good women n men abound. I am not an old school, still much less than 30. It doesn't matter the age you meet the right one, hold dem cherish dem , motivate each other. I still see adults who can't even make up their mind even when the Mr/Mrs right is even struggling for their attention.....because they can't figure out the little details. They have their sights glued on completely irrelevant stuffs. And with kind of message I read here always some young ones are already filling their mind with sentiments that will never allow them have a blissful reltionship. |
prinsam30:very funny MEND ko...Avenge niii. I have my original girl since we were 18, wea re both original...I don't know of any other person who followed all the process you outlined has done better than us because of that. I was in 100level ,She was about getting admission. She graduated top of her class with distinction in Architecture, there were 40 something guys in that class, my result never came down all those years. I am now doing my Msc in Europe and she has joined me a year afterwards. No matter the age if your relationship is a disadvantage to your destiny then it is not right, I have seen people who have made everything and they wanted to "rest" in a good marriage which simply ruined everything they have worked all their lives for. I know at least 4 cases. Thank God I never had a parent who propagates this theory of " do everything first then find a good relationship". I did everything simultaneously n I am more than happy. I have become so arrogant that I can't even imagine been with a girl that has spent a considerable part of her lif with another man before coming to me. |
Pointless question. As if she/he will ask your permission before getting to relationship. When he/she his sufficenetly sensible...shikena. I had my first gal at 17,and I immediately knew it was not gonna work.....but you still see 20soemthing-year-olds, and 30s asking funny questions about relationship. The things they seek solutions to now , I knew back at 17 and even gave people advice (older folks). I started dating my current fiance a couple of months after that and we have been together for 8years. I still see people in their 30s who are morons/imbeciles when it comes to relationship n teenagers who are far more emotionally intelligent. |
AgbenuAnna:Have you ever seen any normal man wearing such tight trousers just to show his bums. Even gays don't do that. Only you know why U asked that question. |
rattlesnake:It is spelled with a V. |
casdoruche:You likely missed the part where the family was living far away in Oshodu in Lagos while she resides in the heart of Ogun. How can that same family have been involved in a previous fracas with another group. That is clearly ruled out in this case......and it si unlikely that the character of the lone woman described could have single-handedly wreak and havoc on another group to warrant such attack. Also, if this were the case, the niegbours would have been in the first position to know this. Your point about rape was however plausible. |
Yemikola:Nice observation. This case is quiet easy to solve. And in my, opinion the father is the prime suspect. It is naturally difficult for people to phantom the reason....and that will be the purpose of the investigation. Why I think the Father is the prime suspect here : 1. All evidence points to him, everything about the way she was found , pillow on her mouth etc was revealed by him.No one can corroborate this. 2. How can you not hear from your grown up child in less than 24hours than the usual time you will hear from her and you are already in Ogun state from Oshodi, that was hasty. 3. Why his he hell bent on hushing the whole situation if he brought it out at first. 4. Not even the neighbours observed an open window which could have easily given away that something was wrong. If he actually saw that , he must pretty convinced someone killed her daughter...yet he was more concerned in keeping it silent than unravelling this easy case. A normal father will be outraged finding his daughter obviously killed n the killer easily escaping. The father has tampered with the crime scene which makes almost every piece of evidnence from there unreliable. Investigator have to rely on his words. It is inexplicable that somoene will be murdered and the killer will go through the stress of escaping through the windows. When he/she could take the keys (he was sensible enough to take the phones) lock the door from behind, which make everyone assumes she was out of the building. How are we sure the father is not telling us what he wants us to believe. He may not be the actual killer, maybe someone has done the job for him. However, the killer could have gained entrance through the window initially which would have alerted the neighbours, but if truly no one heard anything. It means someone who had the key entered and killed her. And it's unlikely the "boyfriend" whom she has problems with and who no one has ever seen. TThe case against the father is a really strong one. The next suspect would be whoever she was talking to on that phone which can be easily gotten from her phone log...which could end up been that man. Thus is just fucking straightforward , get the call log first then everything begins to piece together. |
One thing that I find worrisome on nairaalnd is the obvious stereotype on so many topics. Like tribal issues, relationships etc, people will just use their personal experiences and sentiments to make generalized assumptions. My girl is very quiet, I am her best friend...I don't know of another close friend, I am also the same. We are never boring...I am sure most men will even carry sacrifice for head to have woman like her. She is amazing in every way, she talks when she needs to , party when she needs to ...and we do all the crazy things. Been quiet or been loud has nothing to do with been boring, it also has nothing to do with holding grudges or been mean. |
harsysky:You nearly made sense.....try again later!!!! |
Just like everyone has said, just run...I am sure you already know this. But someone made a very compelling point, don't breaK UP WITH HER...MAKE SURE SHE'S D ONE DOING THE BREAKING UP..SO yu won't end up like the man even without marrying here. The juuju involved is conc. Plus , this is a lesson for veryone, I dont think most people ven realise what it means to propose, it should be you have concluded she is the one. Proposal should come after knowing this little details, how could you not have found out a about this most obvious flaw n go ahead to propse. It clearly shows a big mistake on your path...just imagine if she has not been stupid enough to show it to your face ,so na so dem for jazz you. It's funnny U never asked about the father of d girl U intend to marry in 8months of courtship...an you just assumed he's dead. that's terrible mate. you deeerve some stick. |
wroskian:Nigerians can make excuse fkr perosn ehn. Trauma ko, impact nii. Person wey dress well like that come pose for quality picture shoot u dey hear dey talk trauma. Does that picture look unplanned or like someone facing a challenge |

Hi, Please , does anyone know if there is any change in the exchange rate been used by the embassy. Especially for new applicants. Thanks |
frankie2K:I have not. ...I am applying from Europe. I will apply next month. |
frankie2K:That is not what they menat. They meant if the differnece in the official naira rate is high they will evauate their existing policy. But noyhing as changed for now. Aso it will definitely not affect those that have submitted their appliactions. Ony new ones like me can be a little bit alarmed. |
I just called the embassy in Finland now. They said they are aware of the situation; they will only ask for supplements concerning the finance if the difference is so large. As for now they are still treating it as it were......I mean the immigration office in Finland. No one should assume they don't know....Oyinbo take their work seriously. And someone is paid to carry out the task of implementing all those things. Also, if you like mail them till tomorrow it doesn't affect the decision that will be made on an international n diplomatic level... |
Does anyone have the email for the embassy un Nigeria and any idea if they answer mails on time. |
Bro....you have any idea what's the implications of the policy for new applicants. Any info on the official excahnge rate? |
SCHOOLDROPOUT:The implication of this is quite brutal, I just checked now also. That means you'd need like 2million . It is well anyways. I have another question tho, I understand some banks are accredited, while others are not for the purpose of RP...Please can anyone knindly tell me the accredited banks or a link where I can get the detailed info. |
SCHOOLDROPOUT:Honestly, I wouldn't advice anyone to study in Finland for that exorbitant amount...it is pointless. Trust me I know the place really well, I have been there a couple of times n I have peeps there a lot. You'd do well to go to Australia or Canada(Canada is by far the most advisable). You can get jobs, but it is not as easy as it used to be...but it is stll much possible. The major problem is the language barrier (they don't joke with their language even for cleaning jobs) and also EU economy is quite bad at the moment. Tampere, Turku , Helsinki are the best places to get a job...anywhere outside that is OYO. If anyone have that much money for Tuition....just go to Canada!!!!.And Finns speak very good english,so it is difficult to get English customer support job as you'd get in say for example Tallinn. But if you are not paying tuition, that's cool...make as much money as you can n go to an anglo-phone country. The standard in Finland i recognised so you can easily get well funded PhD in Canada or elsewhere. Best of luck everyone. |
SCHOOLDROPOUT:Thanks for the prompt response. I just want to be sure...that means I will be applying with 1 naija account with 1.6m and Euro account with like 1.5KEuro. That means I will have to physically come to Niaja to collect the documents and also reactivate my Naira account and collect originla statement of accounts. Or is there any other means of collecting originla statement of account from Naija that you know of. And please...I also want to ask this if you have personal experience, do you think it makes sense to apply with a Naira account from Europe or its better to kuku apply from Naija. Thanks |
I have a question,is it possible to use two different accounts for the application. For example I am in Belgium and I have like 1500Euro in my account. I intend to come to Nigeria for the application. The account I want to use in Nigeria is almost empty, but I will just sell one of my plots of land and deposit like 1.5-1.8million into the account. So I can submit documents claiming the money was a proceed from the sale of my land. So I can combine the two accounts. What are the possibilities?...any advice. Or can I still apply in Europe and present my Nigerian bank account? and the documents for the land and its sale. |
ATTAHDYE:I wonder ooo, our former first lady is said to be a graduate and can't speak good English. I am surprised anyone will use that as a yardstick in discrediting a news.Even in the east , ANAMBRA...Despite the level of exposure, I was surprised to have students who can not speak English. I am not sure anyone remembered that teacher from Eod state, she was an highly placed education officer and could not even read, so why is anyone supersized that a total dunce CAn have A1 parallel in WAEC |
