Beaf: Abeg, lie small small na!If my memory isn't failing me steve orosanye started the biometric and he was the HOS under yar adua, he is a fellow of ICAN, and a technocratic to the core, the stealing of pension funds, like you said, has been taking place maybe before I was born, thou I doubt it, and had always existed in some form or another, but since civil rule, it spiraled out of hand, in other words what the military stole since their incursion into power, your PDP people/goons stole in 4 yrs, of being in power talkless of 12yrs, if you don't know shiaub is a member of PDP and had picked up the senatorial nomination form before this issue bursted in his face, furthermore, with the help of these people, most of the challenges with regards pension started during, IBB down sizing exercise which affected the military officers in 1993/94 and civil servants, if you don't know, even when pension allowances were increased over the years this increment was not effected and that is why people were always complaining,(they were told they would get allowances and it still didn't show they found out it was being paid from the federation account but they did see it) which they even admitted to, so what exactly are you trying to get at? When GEJ wanted to manipulate the office of the speaker -by given it to an incompetent person (that useless woman or is it man that killed the elemulu power probe as being incompetent )the house resisted him and you tell me he has control over the house? I beg to differ, he is trying to gain control over the house by instigating tunes of impeachment against the speaker for showing what we nigerian's already now is rampant his frolicking and caressing of corrupt associates and you come here to talk Mr "Newbie" beaf u need serious deliverance for you have not only sinned against nigerian's but you have lost your conscience. |
Kobojunkie: According to the KPMG Report of 2010@kobo nah you biko! From the above its certain the only person responsible for ensuring the amount that is being sold and purchased is PPPRA while who and what so ever audit them, now what kind of responsibility should have been assigned to Akintola williams et al other then auditing, rather, then the said "consulting". |
Kobojunkie: There is no doubt that the auditing firm likely made an error on it's part BUT you do not know that for sure at this time given you and I are not aware of the details of contract signed between this firm and the Minister. As someone has tried explaining over and over now, the power to AUDIT an organization is not the same power to verify delivery of products paid, and confirm legitimacy of sales made or payments made by the organization. For all we know, this firm only had the power to make payments and ASK NO QUESTIONS(they are not police).Thank you jare! take five what I have been trying to explain in lay mans terms |

Chinedu Nlem: that means this God is not in nigeria and our country was never started by God. What happened to the siemens and halliburton case that the previous govt killed? Or the petroleum bill? Or power probe? Need i name more abandoned projects? My point is this govt stood out to do what even obj will not dare. It exposed the extent of corruption in abuja. from pension to fuel. This people don kill us. now we know our enemies. small small all sectors will be touched even NYSC. All that's needed for evil to survive is for good men to do nothing. Gej de try open up, una still de curse am for money wey dem chop since 2009.I beg to differ its the people you and I with the help of foreign countries (the people that didn't appoint NOI, to be president of the world bank, even when they knew she was most qualified) that are fighting to expose corruption, if he, the said "GEJ regime" were fighting with the people, it would wipe out faster the thieves and looters/corrupt people faster the pension probe wasn't as a result of GEJ govt but as a result of pensioners that were shouting on radio day in day out and petition upon petition news and further news on the plight of people lying the streets in abuja, so plz we shouldn't get these things wrong |
klas: The work done by Deloitte and the other firm on fuel importation is not the normal end of year financial audit but routine everyday on the spot verification of fuel importation at the ports just like internal auditing. It is more of consultancy than auditing. Infact, they would need to deploy more non-accounting personnel than accounting ones for the assignment.Well I guess I am a little in the dark, with reference to their services, but what were they appointed for to duplicate the function of PPPRA or out rightly do it? because they are supposed to forward all these to the minister of petroleum through a government agency, and if they are acting as agents on behalf of their principal PPPRA, then their should have been another organisation auditing them and their daily activities with specific standards for inspection from time to time. |
If one doesn't fall another wouldn't rise I guess peat marwick &ogunde came down and william akintola & Co to rise and they took over, let's see whose next, but these access bank boys ha, I guess it their time now they are practically all over the place from SE.C to finance now to NNPC auditing
A good start, but the biggest successful sack of them all begins with the clueless GEJ. O ma se, even the rat wants to compete again in 2015, after making Nigeria suffer through his spineless decisions.
At this point I beg to ask is it because they released the initial report about the fraud in the NNPC that was with the minister of finance to the public or they were clamouring for a release and for actions to be based on their report, or because people got first hand information about the audit of the NNPC because, I know, its not because of over payments of or on subsidy, (in my opinion an audit report is a submission of financial activities based on what has happened in an organisation over a previous period of a year or years by those running the system/structure ) they are not the auditor general office that should be responsible for their weekly or monthly audit, nor the accountant general office that is responsible for payment, of these subsidies, they are just independent auditing firms looking into the past activities of those running the organisation based on standard accounting principles being used. |
All the economist in nigeria that are at the helm of affairs said their was only one solution removal of subsidy my mentor SLS, then NOI dezeani, just list them. I said it before they are very lazy, always looking for the short cut/way out, rather then tackling the issue which gave rise to the removal of the, "said" subsidy they even said nigeria would collapse, if subsidy is not removed, the question now is, has it collapsed/imploded? they even wanted to institutionalize corruption by telling the masses to pay higher costs, so they can continue to enrich "them" while they continue to mismanage and bicker for a second term for doing nothing, then, they now lie to Nigerian's that they have our best interest at heart, and then say they are slashing international trips, GEJ went to germany with his entourage just to mention one, the first lady went to what's the name of that country now? Can't remember! the Vice president was in america of recent, food allowances haven't been reduced -they should pay for their goddam food and nigeria should stop charity giving to these stu.pid elements we pay them fat salaries and stupendous allowances and still pay for their food! The most stupid one is the said chairman of SEC. the glutton whom spent millions living in Nicon and then acquiring a house and mandating SEC. To pay her rent on her own property, what the hell and they say nothing concerns us with the way she spends money to live a flamboyant life she better go back to ADB, and that is just one of the smaller fishes amongst the 440 parastals of govt., now imagine ministry of education with more then 80 MDA's under them, medical trips haven't been stop yet O! (david mark is in isreal now O!) Okonjo iweala has been going up and down campaign with our hard earned money -(don't ask me how I know, Nigeria rallied support for her for the world bank presidency our joint wealth is what was wasted rallying support for a person that just couldn't phantom another way around removal of fuel subsidy) just name it some people are still getting drunk in Aso rock and going on a weeks leave for doing nothing, and telling us transformation bull sh*t agenda, corruption is fighting back that's what they would say now while they are frolicking in the swampy waters of corruption, and caressing it. And these people have put this travelling expenses in their budget which has been approved and the said private sector players wanting their share of the un-baked cake are now fighting tooth and nail, to keep their own spoils, I ask myself do we need all this horse crap when the person would be buried only 6feet below the earth surface? You girls stop encouraging corruption nah because of you people these stup.I.d men dey steal! And like the clueless man in the state house would say their role is strictly advisory a toothless bull dog, in submission I wait to see what they are going to happen if GEJ tries to remove tambuwal but its certain majority of the people in that house are out to enrich themselves |
Beaf: You are little more than a jackal and I pity the womb that gave birth to lying scum like you. There is nobody that does not know how much I have always been against Ibori.Newbie that is causing nairaland so much controversy |

I guess at this stage nigerian's and those in power will start to understand what it feels like when the most qualified is denied a position due to nepotism well this is how good it can be at the highest level for nigeria OBAMA has proven his point again we are just a geographical expression that needs to better regroup our selves and play a lead role in the united states of africa |
violent: Imagine a defective argument like this. If SON is functioning, will factory faults still exists? Of cos, duh!...it's called factory faults for a reason, and it's the same reason you get warranty from the manufacturers.Thank you my brother, if they don't then do what they are supposed to do (SON,CPC) they can now petition anybody or show off their position in the national assembly, come to think of it I doubt if he ever submit a bill in respect of his constituency, and this maybe his first bill "awon oni ra nu" |
If SON is functioning, will this problem have happened in the first instance ? SON ought to ensure highest standard of maufacturing companies not to complain afterwards to them. They should be proactive ! Thank you for acknowledging that I can send a petition to the house of reps as a citizen of Nigeria !
Do you think they are not working? Then they should be scrapped then we would consider this the right move, theirs is what is called the ISO 2000standards which encompass everything manufactured and quality performance, how would they know what is of high quality if these honorable corrupt people can afford it? whom are the people that are supposed to make SON work? the legislators where are we supposed to write petitions to in the first place? and if the jobs are not done then the national assembly would intervene my submission |
Their are a lot of people that use their left hands to describe/point at their fathers house here, and that's because I think you haven't seen the level or corruption and oppression in Nigeria, you have been immune to the glaring rubbish, I happened to have past through osun state during one of the elections while I was driving to abuja from lagos, I think it was it re-run elections not to sure again, and I saw aregbese windshield broken while his driver was trying to run away with this man in the car in fact it was along the ife - akure bye pass route after he had cast his vote mehn see how they vandalized his car, and this same Govt., were in power no security of lives and property I had to cut leaves and put in front of my wipers so what are you people saying I am not from Osun but after seeing that I pity this man. |
PrinceDudu: Oga, if I have the slightest notion about you it definitely will be of one who would let all hell lose on that organization for even letting you use the car for 1 month driving from Oshodi to VI not to mention 5 months and traveling with it. It wasn't a debate but a petition. get it.Dude debate or petition do you see the sense in it in the first place, do you think it is the right quarters to have sent it to, the so call petition, because of glaring personal interest in nigeria, if the right quarters don't do their work they should be scrapped and then I wouldn't talk if let's say my BB mal functions and all I have to do is submit a private bill to either get my money back or a new phone |
As an individual, are you saying I cant send a petition to the house of reps ? What if this vehicle belongs to me and i decided to petition the national assembly, will you still make this kind of nonsensical comments ? Yet most of you will claim to be Phd holders ? |
I dont give a flying di-ck who the victim may be but there is absolutely nothing wrong if the house of reps put checks and balances on corporations ! Why is everybody not looking at the problem but attacking one useless lawmaker ?
^ you should give a d***, because of tomorrow it may be you directly or indirectly, and you may not get any body to fight for you, except you are a law maker, their are statutory laws which empower agencies and parastals to do this function on behalf of all of us, and they (NASS) are to enact laws, re-view enacted laws to suit the purpose of the day (all of us), can you prove beyond doubt that all of these agencies where consulted before taking it to the house, is it a public interest case, and how can it be measured to be in the interest of the public now what this stup.id.ity implies is if they buy socket and it burns off because of the substandard"ness" it would be debated but if you buy because you are not a member no one gives a d**k about your lost money and no one will fight or protect your interest - my submission SON should be called and CPC should be called to give reason why they are not working, and if a law needs to be enacted then the hyundai should be called to a public hearing and not debated on the floor of the national assembly |
doctokwus: I dnt understand d responses above. So d house shdnt av summoned d company or what.Who knows whc other buyer had bn affected by d faults in dat brand of car but cudnt get half of d responses& co operation dis man is getting. This is one case of using influence positively for d benefit of others, evn if it may av startd frm a selfish perspective^ are they standards organisation that is supposed to fight for all and sundry or consumer protection council that's supposed to shut up their factory.
Did the US congress not invite Toyota over defects in its vehicle ? My brother are you comparing nigeria with the U.S where some of the legislators go by public transport we have to look at the issues is it in public interest can this be proved to be public interest how many nigerians buy these so called cars have these cases been reported to SON and CPC and the legislations where inadequate to prosecute peoples complaints before they finally turn the National assembly into a circus |
blink182: ℓ̊ refuse to believe this^^^ pls do believe for further confirmation read this www.vanguardngr.com/2012/04/reps-summon-hyundai-motors-over-faulty-n4-1m-jeep/ |
I think I posted this somewhere, our greatest problem is education and that is why they have continued to deprive the majority of it, by licensing private schools which majority, because of poverty wouldn't be able to afford and systematically, killing all the government owned institutions by increasing the number and reducing the quality, bearing in mind that they share the same amount of funds for the increased number of institutions the budget, education liberates and that's why places In the southwest are moving forward, the southwest know, and will only allow the best to represent them, now what will I call this national assembly of major have their way and minority their say, when STANDARDS ORGANISATION is their they ursper the power and abrogate it to themselves because of their own person interest forgetting the common man on the street goes through this experience and does have anywhere to take his case, to even make matters worst the said car is not even for the legislator! imagine his WIFE's car, in which way does this personal interest issue supersede the nigerian case study issue, at hand now, imagine the national assembly is ordering a probe into a members personal issue with an organisation, and using the name nigeria to fight for an individual, (you see the us against them syndrome) I don't blame them its the people that sentimentally out of ignorance voted for them I blame without allowing opposition to give them a alternative to good representation politics of selectivity and turn by turn, ask and I wouldnt be surprised if his a PDP member these people are simply useless and we need to start to occupy their faces imagine a country with a CLUELESS head and clueless legislators oh! The majority in the national assembly and this disgrace they always put us through imagine them showing it live on TV for the world to see ha! People people people vote wisely if you know they would fight for you don't vote for anyone at all its better to not have a representation then to have this majority fools imagine how the world looks at us with this foolish people making laws ha! |
We from the south west know ourselves and we know those's without ineptitude the oyinlola's and the thieves that didn't deliver/win elections and stole outright peoples mandate and are trying to lay claim to it the oni's, we don't tolerate criminals and we don't like cheating we don't also compromise on standards because we are not mediocre, and like I said earlier I am very sure this govts., lack of direction and high degree of corruption without a strategic achievable plan, without an intent of trying correct the issues, and are just trying to sustain rubbish is the reason for all this blame trading, how can people that can't formulate an achievable operational and executable plan, know what they are talking about? Rubbish -awon oni ra nu! Gbogbo |
Without even going through the write up/ article, I would like to say that when a person is failing theirs is a high tendency for the person to look for whom to lay the blame on, and that's what this government at the centre directly or indirectly is doing, at the rate at which this is going I WOULDn'T be surprised if they told me boko haram is being sponsored by BAT, and aregbesola just to cover up for their inadequacies, see for this hopeless and CLUELESS CORRUPT GOVT., I ask this question where, were they? when aregbesola was being flogged opening by oyinlola thugs under the watchful eye of their new national secretary (PDP), this was a man that was not allowed to enter Osun state and under the watchful eye of this same federal government! well my submission how will you persify a lion that you starved and drew its tail while you caged it? forgetting that one day it could be released they should stop doing the blaming game and face issues of security and real development and not promising us what should naturally be ours (power, good roads, health, education et al). |
When Jesus Christ was with us we never believed him, now only God knows the truth but I suspect this man when he is h**** he delivers some things God forgive me if his true but woes betide you satan if his false

deebrain: what is all this talk about? All these remarks about d baby is not necessary. Instead lets give God d glory for a new born baby given to one of our own. May he or she not live like his parents...Amen. Lets take an offering of thanksgiving.just my thought also O! let the baby be |
MRbrownJAY: so what you are saying is that this man should accept the fact that his wife didnt listen to HIS VIEWS, but would gladly listen to this pastor's views?! i dont know about you, but to me, it makes it EVEN WORSE!!!no what i was trying to say is if this guy really loves this girl it wouldnt be to easy to just tell her to go (talking from experience) and if he should act on her mannerism he might probably end up killing her with beating, just like the guy that killed a girl in lekki the picture is below her own case was she recieving phone calls from guys and recieving friends on facebook, 2. if he should talk to much it would be termed that he isnt interested in the relationship again and he is just trying to instigate something or hid under the umbrella of something to say he is tired of the relationship. 3. its better for someone to do the difficult job of bring her back on line and someone people would find it hard to castigate.

Kobojunkie: You must have the wrong person. Anyone who knows Kobojunkie on this forum will tell you that you have the wrong person.Okay would try and check it up apologises in arrears if otherwise, but coming to this issue what are the qualities people should have looked out for in a country where their are so many educated illiterates and sentiments rather then facts and figures are used to win elections, where a govt lays blame on surrounding countries as training bases for harboring a bunch of people that come together and affiliate themselves as a terrorist organisation, steal from banks to finance their activities, and the government at the centre is witch hunting some people that they are sponsoring these NONSENCE ELEMENTS, when a government would remove subsidy and after say they are buying buses for subsidizing transportation forgetting interstate forgetting that food which forms the major stay for survival is grown in states outside the major urban cities ie taking the cart before the horse (what is going to pull whom) and corruption is running riot under his watch from all angles when say the SGF would single handedly look at his office and post 400 staff to the OHOS to do nothing just to continue to earn salaries while performing no function and not being attached to any MDA official performance or is it operational corruption and then the government says they can reduce over heads while collecting overheads for all these staffs posted out their training allowances its just a whole mess I just can't quantify it and the clueless man went on 1 week leave for drinking and getting drunk in state house Rubbish! |
Kobojunkie: at last wetin? The world has always known, but since the Nigerian people overwhelmingly said yes, we all decided to wait and watch for when people will finally open their eyes to what they accepted last april. April 16th is around the corner, and yet another year of business as usual, it seems this has been.Kobojunkie I guess when I first said on this forum he was clueless you said something about him and the east finally you have come around or were you just trying to fuel more talk, but finally the nigeria people

Looking and speaking from experience accessing fundings is critical to the sustenance of any business it took government 2years to give fundings to those that pertook in the manufacturers loan revolving scheme of N500billion by the CBN, it has taken me 15months and still I have been waiting for funds to be released after it has been approved, for SME's to be paid in, within a jiffy YOUWIN participants have all received their funds though its certain that 65% of them would fade out over the next 24months as a result of experience, so which century would this new policy take effect, "the federal governments financing for SME's in conjunction with commercial banks, they have failed to note that banks only have short term loans available to them" when the current interests rates are hovering around 28-30%/annum with no moratorium for long time projects in manufacturing are they joking or have they come again to make a mess of our intellect www.theguardianmobile.com/readNewsItem1.php?nid=3614 |
cashmentor: yeah, i know that.... AP is no more like he said, who knows what might have happened to their shares.... Maybe recapitalized, that's my point!Nothing really happened to AP their shares were restructured by the new owners and there books were looked into more critically to reflex the true value just like national oil that was brought over by consolidated oil now conoil, same as unipetrol and agip that became oando structuring of shares to show the value of ownership |
dynamite2012: This is thread is full of fools who will surely get burned. The NSE is a complete joke. Bogus or out-dated financial reports; rampart corruption and brazen market manipulation! Buying Nigerian stock is even worse than gambling. I am happy I advised my Dad to avoid the stock market like a plague when it seemed to be doubling every other month; thank God he listened to me. Half his friends that played the stock markets are already dead from strokes because they lost EVERYTHING. Such a tragedy and meanwhile, the criminal regulators and criminal CEOs are all free and enjoying their illegal loot. LOL! Nigerians are so gullible; it's just sad.How unfortunate well let me share a secret with you stockbrokers are also allowed to play in the market meaning sometimes they buy at the lowest price and sell to their clients at the highest price and then they buy from their clients at the lowest price verse versa do you know why overheads & profitability, see it would cost money to move around say go to registrars offices maintain offices pay necessary levies and still keep afloat and if you calculate your profit from commissions they way I did years ago, you would see why brokers "not dealing clerks" are being paid peanuts and we have to wear our suits to portray another view, now stock-broking firms are allowed to play in the same market now that's why they have a creed and they are more coveted then any other structure in the financial system, you need to brought for registration after your completion of chartered membership by a dealing clerk who is the M.D of a stock-broking firm in the market how many of them have time to visit abuja because of a new member, when they have to play in the market who many are sincere enough to think of their clients see I was at consistent logger head with my firm when I was a broker my M.D at a point refused to sign my form my chairman did and threaten me that I must not leave his firm if they went ahead for me he seized my registration form at a certain level and that was the major reason I left for banking which I felt was a better option then, so how many brokers would be sincere to their clients above their organisation that pays them their 30days make a pay even when they are paid peanuts (15k-30k) when dealing clerks are paid a minimum of as at then (150k) now imagine me playing in the same market with most of you guys with my experience mehn naa to kill you people with all the info I have, and that is what is happening |
