As a lady I still find it hard not to do kwaya (drugs). Bad influence I guess or maybe because I saw my dad and his cliques doing it so it rub off on me

Been to rehab couple of times, currently taking a counseling class although I haven't attended for like a week...

I find myself doing it although deep down I don't wanna, but it is something I can't help

Please if anyone is going through this phase or has passed and overcome kindly share your experience to help conquer this war against drugs and alcohol

Thanks

I am not an expert in this but I said you should relocate to new city if possible to distance from friends and family that influence you. Then look for new hobby like someone suggested. The hobby will distract you from your addiction.
Addiction is real and deadly

Yes thank you, sure I do have a purpose, basically for work, I want to put my skill to work, and if possible work and study, you know what I mean and yes, I do have the fund at hand, just not sure if it's enough to make the travel , if you have an idea on what country and amount id need to make this all work out, please explain, Thank you

It will be hard to get work visa unless you have a good skill maybe in medical or software engineering. But the best bet is study, I will suggest Finland because it somehow easy for ssce to get admission and the tuition is relatively cheap to other European countries.
You can get tuition as low as 1.7million naira compare to Canada and UK. Then you need proof of fund that will be in your account that is about 3.7million naira, this is also cheaper compare to earlier mentioned country.
All information you need are in studyinfo.fi

Good evening everyone,

Sometime last year, I enquired which country I can migrate with #2.5m, live peacefully and legally, then bring my wife and daughter afterwards, but many suggested, I increase my budget. https://www.nairaland.com/6098290/which-country-one-travel-n2.5

Now, I have completed it #5m and I'm looking forward to migrating to a better country in search of green pasture and possibly permanent residence.

Note; I'm not interested in investing in the country, I have bought enough domain name.

Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.

The first thing is to know how traveling out the the country work. There basically four type of Visa, tourist visa, work visa, study visa and investment visa. Tourist visa can not be use to relocate. Now you are left with other three. Your best bet is study visa because of your fund. The country I can recommend for you are Germany or Finland for study, because of your budget.

Family / Re: Advice Needed On My Late Dad's 1st Remembrance by olaniyi900: 6:08am On Dec 18, 2020
soulstalker:
Good morning romancelanders, this is not right section, but i need more opinions about this thread.

December 27th will complete one year in which my dad was buried, and according to friends and family, i was told we should have a remembrance party in his memory.

I am the 7th born in the family, but the closest to my dad before his demise(none of the kids have access to his properties except me).

Now the families are tasking me big, i mean a whole 500k from me alone for the remembrance party(despite the fact they know my financial state, which i was scammed a huge sum of money months ago and i also just ventured into some business, and the registration for my 2yrs old son school by january). So my question is, why are they planning so much for the remembrance? Why did they bill me that much? Or are they possibly passing a message to me because of my dad's properties? But fact is me i don't have such amount of money on me talkless of contributing that amount? Pls ur sincere advise is needed..

1 what is your father properties still doing in your hand after one year of death
2 Call family meeting for the sharing of your father properties according to his will if he has one or according to tradition if he doesn't have will.
If you can do number 2 you will have peace.
NYSC / Re: Would Service At This Establishment Help Boost My CV?? by olaniyi900: 4:20pm On Nov 16, 2020
Ablemed:
I'll be brief with my perturbed situation atm and I hope I get every advice I can get here

Lemme start by saying I studied Wildlife and Ecotourism at osu and along the line of IT I fell in love with one of the Nigerian Force when we were on IT at the MM int'l Airport and ever since then I've always wished to be a Force guy to. I finished and had to process my service to Bauchi cuz I've always loved to serve in the North. but Bfr then we got an Advice during IT at the airport on how we can go bout serving at any Airport in our respective state of posting and that involves some letters we were given then, copies of our Airport duties and stuff. The Airport staff we worked with said it'll help boost our chance of serving in the Airport

But that's by the way, After I've grown the love for the Force profession, I'm looking at working my service to NAF base here in Bauchi if it'll help boost my CV during my Application for the job after service. i don't mind if I'm not paid there but an added advantage to my CV is actually what I'm looking/focused on. Tho my mom's junior brother is a Wing commander in the NAF but my life's school of thought is to rather Put hope on God than Man so I'm really not expecting much influence from him tho we're close even as a Family. and I'll still inform him of my decision.

So I really need every Advice I can get so my service over there wouldn't just be a waste of time without really doing anything To Help boost my CV plus my course is really not a professional course ion know if I'll still get a chance in my application with my course of study being a near irrelevant one.

You don't need CV to join any armed force. What you need is Good result, 2.1 or first class. Then you need connection mostly person in rank of General or senior politician. If you are genius you can succeed on merit.
Your uncle with is rank he may not have the influence to help you unless he is work with one senior officer. I wish you the best.

Good afternoon, I have gone through the threads here I think my case is different.
I finished high school since 2010 and I have been working with different companies for the 10 years and I think I have saved enough money to school abroad but I have some questions to ask.

1. Is my waec result still valid?
2. I'm 27 now. Will I be given admission?
3. Incase Norway doesn't work which country would accept me?

Any idea and advice would be appreciated so much.

Your waec is till valid
If money is not the problem try Finland, Or belgium or estonia Google this place.

Kekereekun123:
this is 2020 not 2005 or 1990. for you to go hustle legally you need a job offer and an employer sponsored visa( its not about your money but skill you have), for Canada if you are below 31 with masters, 3 years experience, high ielts scores you may qualify for express entry visa. don't fall into the trap of paying agent and they work visit visa for your and you get stranded and deported later. or you can study route.
follow this advise.
Family / Re: Age 25 With 1 Million Naira & Living With My Parents: Buy Land Or Pack Out? by olaniyi900: 6:26am On Aug 21, 2020
This 1 million naira is a small money. Your parent advise is good, but the place they advice you to buy land which home town is not good. You can achieve being independent and get landed property.
My advice is you can use like #400k maximum for renting of property and for furniture and put #500k to #800k in buying landed property but not in your home town let it be in your state capital. Gradually you can furnish your rented property to your taste.

[Which state ministry of education pls links me up. quote author=Reichtum post=69355889]

Most schools give it FREE.
ministry of education charge 10k.

Since you are paying into the schools account, it's an open policy.

Their role is to attract funding to the university

I got to know that Emir Sanusi of Kano is the Chancellor of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), and the great Alaafin of Oyo is the Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID). Some students barely know their Chancellor or one exists.
This is cool, but what are their duties as Chancellors?
