Outside IFE, Omikomi is struggling to even get 10% of the votes. Osun is very different from Ekiti. The way my family house full today, I knew Ekiti election has woken people up. All the braggado of PDP after Ekiti, insulting my people with 'stomach infrastructure' slang will be bursted today. My family members who are PDP agents only collected money from PDP and voted APC. Iwo, Aiyedire well under APC with the results announced so far.

From my immediate family, 3 votes for Aregbe. Iwo entrance under military lock. Thorough search for vehicles entering or going out. Most Osun indigenes from neighbouring states have poured into the state to vote. Most of my extended fam in Lagos, Ibadan, Akure etc are coming home as if its ileya. The fear of omikomi ruling such a great state is making everyone strive to make their vote count.

I know this thread is apolitical, but I cannot help but wonder:: Can Boko Haram have this much advantage if we have a retired general as president? Siriusblack confirmed my worst fears about BH. We are few months from losing Maiduguri if our leaders do not get serious.

You came here claiming Aregbe did nothing. Someone came to correct you by pointing to the achievements. Now you say the taps 'are public', that you thought it was private house/ compound! Listen to yourself. I challenge you to go round Nigeria and tell me the states that have build borehole inside private homes and compounds. Public borehole is not project for people who do not see anything good. Perhaps you can help mention ANY project Omisore has done in Osun.

Both sides of the divide (muslim/xtian) loath Aregbe for creating the crisis. You'll be shocked Yoruba do not vote based on religious affiliation. This is why almost every muslim or christian Yoruba still go home to practice their traditional beliefs.

Iwo is not a PDP town. The religious brouhaha as you put it is actually in favour of Aregbe. Many many more Muslims than Christians in Iwo, Aiyedire.

No. Most of these girls go to camp weighting many KGs above their weight class. Training should bring the weight down, but it seems the timing was gotten wrong by her coaches. I wont call her a drug cheat. I can bet 95% of the competitors did what she did. But they must have done it months ago.
