Politics › Re: Chimda Hedima- The Pilot Beheaded By Boko Haram by olapluto(op): 10:43am On Oct 04, 2014
IF Nigeria was a serious country, they would spend money and men to track down those who beheaded the pilot. But it is a shame that once caught, you're left to die.
I watched as an SSS official was also beheaded by BH (a lady). That enough should make these agencies react and go after the killers. But unfortunately, we have lost integrity in most of the armed forces. Nowadays, it is lies gallour. I fear that while BH may not be able to enter Maiduguri at the moment, they are rearming and restrategising.
On the other hand, our military bosses are bringing in rusty UN tanks that may fail in battle! This BH war may just go on for longer than we all thought.
Politics › Chimda Hedima- The Pilot Beheaded By Boko Haram by olapluto(op): 11:08pm On Oct 03, 2014
I just did a google search and saw that BH claims of killing wing commander Chimda Hedima is true. He has been positively identified by friends and family. He has a brother who I believe is a pilot, who just yesterday wrote a blog wishing his brother back home safely.
parryhedima..com
Trained in Bangladesh (http://www.dscsc.mil.bd/index.php/graduate/overseas_member/17/Nigeria/30), USA and many other places.
I think it is a shame that such a fine officer will die and the nation will not mourn. BH seem to have eaten so deep, while our leaders are still covering things up.
These bastards can now bring down a plane! God help us in this country

Politics › Re: Boko Haram Shot Down Nigerian Airforce Jet? by olapluto(m): 2:21pm On Oct 02, 2014
BH seem to have mastered the art of picking holes in NA statements.
Since telling lies has become national sport under GEJ, I will just stay silent and keep praying to God to end this BH nonsense. If anyone is depending on GEJ, the person is in for a long thing.
Clearly GEJ is targeting a sustained offensive close to elections, but the damages are already done.
Politics › Re: Shekau Appears To Be Alive In Newly Released Video by olapluto(m): 1:43pm On Oct 02, 2014
Collynzo22: One good thing aboud the video though is that boko haram have really been depleted in the area of armoury. Instead of standing in front of APCs like before he stood in front of worn out pick ups.
Looks like our army have recovered all the APCs from them.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x94Zr5wzLmk
Watching this video, I can easily spot 3 other potential Shekaus--at the background. They all look alike. In fact, one of them was dressed in an almost exact replica way the previous Shekau dressed.
Btw, this Shekau seems not to be capable of handling a Toyota technical. He almost lost control of the gun there. Could have killed his standing guys.
Politics › Re: Shekau Appears To Be Alive In Newly Released Video by olapluto(m): 12:15pm On Oct 02, 2014
kokosheen: Just heard it on BBC, would like to see the video though. Hope forensic analysis is done to confirm the date the video was done.
BBC is pathetic. I observed how they were so laggy in reporting the Konduga victories of NA. It took them close to 1 week to report it. Even then, the news was hidden in the last paragraph of another news.
Is it not shameful that they are so quick to report this news that is a blow to NA?
Politics › Re: Shekau Appears To Be Alive In Newly Released Video by olapluto(m): 11:54am On Oct 02, 2014
Well, what is certain is that the tank used in previous videos is no longer there. This is also another reason why NA should not jubilate yet.
I watched a video just now where natives of towns in BH control are claiming that youths in those towns are being forced to join BH, given some concortion to drink which makes them high and get given guns.
As much as I am happy we're gaining momentum in this war, I fear that recent successes may just be mostly forced youths who are being killed. I fear that BH still has majority of its commanders intact.
Politics › Re: "New" Tanks For Fighting BH Being Transported to the North? by olapluto(m): 10:05am On Oct 02, 2014
1 billion well spent! Rusty tanks as bonanza for BH. Capture one, get one free.
Politics › Re: Jonathan, PDP Can’t Claim Credit For Defeating Ebola — Governor Fashola by olapluto(m): 10:02am On Oct 02, 2014
Good that Fashola has burst PDP's bubble on this Ebola thing. I have seen numerous PDP campaigns listing 'Ebola success' as one of the major achievements of GEJ.
It is pathetic for GEJ to try to claim credit for what he's not done. If Ebola had been left to GEJ and PDP, we would be hearing statements like:
'Ebola is everywhere, it is Nigeria's turn', while people will be dieing on daily basis. But Lagos acted superfast and saved the whole nation.
Now some eejits are claiming Lagos to be part of Nigeria, so any success in Lagos is attributable to FG. Does that even make sense?

Politics › Re: Religious Extremism: Kamarudeen Muslims Attack Masquerade In Iwo, Osun State by olapluto(m): 1:55pm On Oct 01, 2014
Iwo oni Qurani! Iwo lives by the Quran, and the masqueraders know this. Even within that ile Alagbaa, they have many Muslims. My family masquerade is in one tiny room waiting to be burnt as nobody is willing to put it on anymore.
But those masquerades used to be deadly in those days before Muslims stopped it. Sokoti will put his masquerade on and start using cutlass on people anyhow.
I am sure the masqueraders will apologise to the Muslim community and not repeat it again. Case closed
Politics › Re: Would Any Other Tribe in Nigeria Have Survived BIAFRA? by olapluto(m): 10:07am On Oct 01, 2014
mekaboy: The main issue here is how the remains of the igbos became so industrous. These few became more industrous than some other tribes that watched the war. So after the war the igbos picked up what was left and still went ahead of many other tribes in Nigeria. That is the miracle i need an explanation to.
Putting aside the criminality, which is legitimate to some Igbos as long as it brings money, you should be asking yourself if such progress was made within Iboland.
After the war, the very receptive tribes in Nigeria allowed the Igbos in (overlooking the fact that Igbos would have killed them if they had the upper hand in war). It is this generous reception that allowed the few legit business people to thrive.
So instead of trying to pleasurize yourself in some fantasy, I advice you to reason deeply (though it may be hard for someone clouded with ethnocentrism)

Politics › Re: Would Any Other Tribe in Nigeria Have Survived BIAFRA? by olapluto(m): 9:30am On Oct 01, 2014
Silly question. A sensible tribe will find means of having support from other tribes to help its course. Biafra from day 1 was an ego ride by Ojukwu. Unfortunately most young Igbos who were not even born around that time are clamouring for it.
You want to form a country, but you try to force people into it. As God will have it, the same Ojukwu contested to be president of Nigeria before his death. The election results and votes from Igbos will tell you the full story.

Politics › Re: Governor Fashola And The Muslims Of Lagos by olapluto(m): 11:24am On Sep 30, 2014
This is how you know a working governor. He is not sparing any religion. I have read many times here how Christians (especially those from the East) accuse Fashola of victimising Chrisitians in the state. The make examples of The Chosen church, ban on loud speakers, etc.
As a Muslim, I am very proud of Fashola. If a government is to serve the people, it must make sure it looks away from religious fanatics and concentrate on the reasonable populace.
@Op, of all the things you've mentioned, only the ijab makes sense, and Fashola NEVER banned the ijab. Overzealous (fanatic) Christians school heads tried to do such, and the issue is in court.
How does banning road side sale of ram reduce Islam's glory?

He then told of a serving General still in the Nigerian Army then, who was a very young officer in the Third Marine Commando that he commanded. “We got to a theatre of war, where the battle was particularly hot. Bullets were dropping round us like rain. This young man was then a 2nd Lieutenant or full Lieutenant. He lost his nerve, and began to run away. I then ordered him to stop, pulled my gun, and would have shot him if he hadn’t turned back. War is war. You just had to get the job done.”
Safe to say that if we had commanders like Benjamin Adekunle, Sambisa forest will be a military base by now.

Politics › Re: Pictures From The Riot In Ado Ekiti by olapluto(m): 4:14pm On Sep 26, 2014
Ekiti people got bored of peace. They want some action.
Action na re ooo!
As a witness to PDP's thuggery in Oyo state, I dont ever pray that Akala smells the seat of power in Oyo again. NURTW will suddenly become an issue when you have a governor that condones them.
Take Ajimobi for example. When he came on board, Tokyo vs Auxilliary was on then. Ajimobi went publicly to warn the 2 of them, he went as far as Abuja to get the police to declare them wanted (for the death of the medical student at Iwo road). In 4 years, NURTW calmed down in Ibadan.
Lagos state, MC Oluomo and Koko Zaria know that if they cause any trouble, they will be handled by the police and no governor will intervene.
PDP uses these NURTW people too much and it is unfortunate.

SLIDEwaxie: if you want the best spies, ask the russians. They will give you intelligence to details!

Did u not wonder by the accurate details of the craft number, the time it took off, the rest and refuelling?

Even videos and photos were provided and u're too dunce to understand this?

I dnt blame u, u are in Nigeria where intelligence is a luxury!
And you believe that wacky website actually got any info from the Kremlin? Intelligence is no luxury my friend.
If you bothered to scroll down on that website, you will see this:
WhatDoesItMean.Com Is One Of The Top Ranked Websites In The World For New World Order, Conspiracy Theories And Alternative News

mikeapollo: Maybe N50k can buy you and others like you.
Have you read through the article?
Have you ever seen a military jet hover 4 times at very low altitudes over a particular building in a residential area like Ikotun for no reason?

EVERYTHING surrounding the collapse of the building should be investigated......but some people like you only want to hear when TB Joshua will be crucified.
You just sound more silly with every reply. When did you find out it was a military jet?? And is Ikotun not within an aviation corridor? Was that the only building being hovered around? Why are the other buildings still standing?
In case you ever did physics, or ever boarded a plane and looked through the window, you will realise that it is virtually impossible to 'hover around a particular building' at such height.
Moreover, if you watch the video released by Synagogue, you will clearly see that the building went down due to structural defect. Pause the video at the point of crash and play second by second.
All these pathetic excuses by some wacky websites will not do this pastor any good. I know if it was just Nigerians that died in the incident, things would have died down more. But this pastor keeps insulting the dead. First he claimed BH attacked the church with the aircraft, then he said those who died were matyrs of God, now it is the USA that crashed the building.
A pastor who's empire is built of lies will not hesitate to tell more porky lies no matter the situation.

lol. If I understand you correctly, the difference is that PDP takes care of its members than APC. Maybe one party has more conscience than the other.
PDP will not blink to dip hand into the collective wealth of the people in order to satisfy a few. APC does not have that luxury because the government at centre is waiting to pounce on any mistake it makes.
