Most reassuring news I've heard in a long time from NA. Now take the initiative! The BH have been lured to the open by the NA. Now it will be hard to go back to Sambisa! Finish them off in Gwoza and capture Shekau there. |
Konduga is the last line of defence set by NA before Maiduguri. I predicted this attack last week, but was called a BH supporter by the TAN brigade. I think Konduga may fall, but Maiduguri will not fall so easily. |
He's supposed to be under SSS investigation, but somehow he's there in Niger and rolling with our president. Evidently present in the meeting for the cameras. So what our president is trying to say is: He was only with us in public, he didnt take part in the private meeting? Liar |
Happy! More good news, but verifiable? |
If I comment now, I will be labelled a BH supporter. But I say unless we all stop what we're doing and face these bastards with all we have, we will lose a large chunk of the country. |
^^^^ what a brilliant 21st century road we have there.! |
Sorry to burst your bubble, but the first picture is actually ONE school which you showed 3 different times from different angles. That ONE school has less than 10 classrooms shown! God will judge people like you. And those roads with thin asphault that will stick to car tyres after few minutes on the road?? Diaris God! |
GEJ is dropping few thousands of the massive 21Billion USD for all these hungry bloggers who are poluting the whole place. |
How can OP and everyone else miss the prayer warrior general of the federation. Adedoyin Opuro Okupe! Doyin Okupe will win gold in any lieing competition! Maku, Metuh and Olukolade (who is doing his job really) are all learners where Okupe is holding sway. |
celeron40: I totally concur...Maiduguri WILL be invaded...time is just the deciding factor...This is time for the NAF to get things right...if the Insurgents successfully capture maiduguri, The War is LOST...They will dig in, file out and turn Maiduguri into a fortress...If that happens, we might have to turn to the U.S for the "ISIS treatment"....Strategic drone strikes agains insurgent infrastructure...till we get our Tucanos and Mil-35s in significant quantity. Right now, our best option is to bring in P.M.Cs..It still marvels me how this BH thing got out of hand so much. With many many billions being spent on the war, we still seem to be losing! As per Maiduguri, I think it will be hard to capture Maiduguri. But I have a feeling that a higher force is holding back NA. They are retreating, and this is certainly an instruction. Maybe the president has conceded to BH, or the president is helping USA achieve its 2015 prediction. |
KwoiZabo: Sharia reporters have started with their media propaganda again. As big as bama is they've not fed us with the latest from there, its only a small village where soldiers were 'according to them' killed they can cover. smh. boko reporters.People like you are making us lose this war. What is media propaganda in this news? 24 gallant soldiers were killed and you call it propaganda? eejit! |
I said it few weeks ago. Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states are all but fallen. Morale is at an all time low, and BH seem to be unstoppable at this moment. Some misguided 'patriots' on NL here have called me BH supporter simply because I keep raising alarm at the state of the nation. Now a town as big as Mubi will fall again? GEJ showing exactly why he is not capable of leading Nigeria as a whole. Apart from SE and SS, GEJ doesnt seem bothered about any other part of the country. |
MBU working his way to the top by serving politicians instead of Nigerians. One day, we will hand over the whole country to him. Yet we will complain of insecurity. |
lekkie073: insurgents use guerilla tactics which is difficult to counter. America with superior strategy has not been able to defeat d Afghan Taliban for more than a decade now. Stop downgrading d NA...Enough of that already. Guerilla tactics that is used to capture a whole state? BH is no longer hiding. We are the ones now running away from them. IF NA wants to kill many BH, let them go to where BH is....Gwoza, Bama, Adamawa and Yola villages, etc. They will meet those guys there, not guerillas |
When I raise alarm of the rate and swiftness of the capture of these towns, they label me a BH supporter. NA needs help. We may have men with AK47, but we are lacking in strategy to deal with these bast.ards. |
I am not a military strategist, but it does looks like Shekau will make a big blunder soon that will give NA the opportunity to deal severe blows to him. What I fear however, is that NA may not be ready or smart enough to make maximum impact. Maiduguri will be invaded by BH. That is set in sand I guess. With much of Konduga taken, and likely confidence gained by BH, I think they will dare to march on to Maiduguri. That is where BH will hand over the battle on a platter to NA. As it is now, Maiduguri is surrounded, anyone with a map can see for themselves. This may turn out to be a very very brilliant tactic by NA, considering BH now seem to throw caution into the winds. BH will bring the bests of its fighters to Maiduguri, and they should be picked one by one by our special forces. There is a particular notorius guy I've seen on two videos released by BH. He is in control of the guns on the technicals and seems to lead the frontline for BH. This is where we need snipers to do their jobs properly. BH seems to attack by first sending in a decoy of few weak figthers to test the ground, then mount a big counter offensive. I will pray our army commanders know this and keep their calm after the first wave of attacks. No need using all your ammo on 50 fighters when 600 are lurking behind. |
Vanguard is the only newspaper reporting this? Thisday or DailyTrust will be a better source. |
A civilian should not be privy to this development. Do we not have a military airport or terminal where the troops can be moved discretely? However, this is a heart warming news if it is true. |
Funny how some people feel comfortable hating SR. A blind man prefering darkness. |
If this is a prayer, I say AMEN! If it is a fact, then kudos to the gallant soldiers and airforce men. |
atlwireles: I understand your outrage, but nobody is fooled. Boko haram supporters like yourself, have had a free for all on this forum. The tables are now being turned, you are the ones that won't have a leeway here anymore.I see you've reached your depth on intellectual discussions. Now calling everyone BH supporter is finally showing you as a pseudomad man. |
engineerboat: You are all shouting, what is the situation in Bama,How did he become reputable? by posting pictures on a faceless forum? News agencies all over the world are reporting that we're losing the war. America, with their very high intel, is reporting that we're losing the war. Only people who want us to believe we're winning anything are those who dont like this nation. Sahara reporters is now the enemy eh? Even Olukolade cannot dispute any of the reports on SR. No one knew BH had invaded Bama until SR started giving the info. We should all support our army, but we cannot lie in doing so. If we do, more military men will die in vain, while we try to cover up their deaths so as to still look strong on paper. One idi.ot was calling people boko haram supporter, not knowing that falsification of info is giving BH the upper hand. BH is silently eating deep into Nigerian territory while we still muse about. |
atlwireles: Sorry, Mr, you have been a strong supporter of boko haram on several threads on this forum., why are you pissed now? The Nigerian army is now ready to bomb and burn down every town in the Northeast where boko haram finds support, should make you happy not angry.Childish comment. Everyone is now a boko haram supporter. You probably have never been to NE before. |
tokunboh: Bollocks! Bollocks!! Bollocks!!! My dear friend, when will you start making sense? You are entitled to your opinion just as I am to mine. You do not know who I am and you're no more of a Nigerian than I am, in fact, I love my country more than you do! What I cannot do however, is to assume a 'no problem' posture when there is real danger lurking. I do not know siriusblack more than his posts on this forum. What I do not however, is that BH is spreading and going beyond control. Up till this moment, our soldiers have dealt with this issue inadequately. You may blame SR, but they are perhaps the only news media with credible sources who give breaking news on the conflict. Only when SR has opened up the news does the government feel compelled to confirm it. As things stand now, Maiduguri is surrounded by BH. We can all sit here and have orga.sm about how the NA is dealing with the problem, only for us to hear tomorrow morning that BH now control 3 states. Living in denial will not win us this conflict. Let us all come together, admit we have a problem, put pressure on the government to do what is right so that we can all live in peace. As much as I am tempted to feel happy with Siriusblack post, I feel it has no substance until the military can come out and say Bama is now in control of NA. Lastly, it is silly of you to label me a BH supporter because I refuse to be tickled by fantasy. If we as Nigerians do not all come together and request substansive action on BH, we will only keep having start-stop progress, while BH will keep eating deep into our country. |
You kill 1200 but cannot hold down a town. Lie will kill some people. |
Our brand of patriotism in Nigeria is what will kill us all. Most times, we paint a rosy picture until doom gets to our door. We seem to have depreciated a lot in values that we now cling on to any tiny piece of good news. I dont need any siriusblack to tell me about the frontline. This is not a problem that started yesterday. We go to this point because people were not telling the truth. While BH were making serious acquisitions, the signs were there for the army. The smart ones made noise complaining about their weapons and corruption. Now that morale is low, we are still to believe that morale is high What will make morale high? Have the soldiers been paid, have they been given better weapons, are they being given more bullets? if not, how can morale be high? The only high morale is that of Shekau who seems to be so bold to say he will lead the charge on Maiduguri! |
Uncharitable to investigate Ihejirika?? But plausable to investigate Sheriff. Naija we hail |
VICTORCIZA: Nigerians use your brains nah!!!Your brain is the one on auto reverse. Everyone is APC to you. CNN, BBC, majority of Nigerians, Negotiator. If you are sensible, you will see that Ihejirika was heavily involved in rearming BH. He tactically moved them to Sambisa, prevented a full scale military offensive to end it once and for all, and was carefully arming BH. |
JEITO: when did BH start, and when did Ihejirika become COAS?A more logical question should be: What was BH Haram before Ihejirika and what was BH after Ihejirika? Perhaps you may not have thought about it, but I feel Ihejirika might have wanted to stage a coup after arming BH and claiming to be the savior unseen. |
