Politics › Re: Presidency Launches ‪#‎bringbackjonathanin2015‬ Campaign by olapluto(m): 11:05pm On Aug 22, 2014
The height of shamelessness. Unable to fulfil his number one duty of providing security for Nigerians, hence his inability to #bringbackourgirls. GEJ now mocks Nigerians with his failure. I mean who should be seen running away from the #bringback hashtag?
Travel › Re: Enugu Airport Flood Pictures by olapluto(m): 5:01am On Aug 22, 2014
Now you see how delusional some Nigerians are. Stealer Oduah who was busy thiefing money and ended up with this sub standard eyesore called airport was hailed by her kinsmen as the next thing after bread and butter. Tags like best minister ever, best ever Aviation minister, etc. All these for cosmetic renovations and constructions that cannot stand the test of Nature or time. Was it not only a few months it took for storm to destroy million naira cosmetically renovated airport? now this?
Accountability and conscience is dead in Nigerian government under PDP since 1999.

GEJ's government is talented in recruiting the most corrupt officials both past and present. I'm not surprised, its ordinary stealing, not corruption.

barcanista: bro you should rather say lousy poster. You know some people are just so dilussional and self-deceptive. Let them wallow in their deception
Correct term. They are flooding this forum by the day, making intelligent arguments difficult.
On a side note, I think PDP should be very afraid after seeing this list. I generously estimated GEJ votes based on his strongholds and sympathetic states, I struggled to get him 30% of the total votes cast. Offcourse this is provided there is an even turnout in all states.
However, as it was during the last election where we were having unbelievable turnout figures in the SE, I have given GEJ ALL votes in that region, still he didnt get 30% of votes cast.
I think GEJ's only way out (considering its too late to woo the Northern majority) is to prevent a high turnout of voters in the North. I doubt the army or DSS can achieve that as they did in Ekiti (turnout was less than 40% of registered voters!). Traditionally, turnout in the North is always high and the urge to boot out GEJ will even be a greater motivation this time.

Typical lousy Southerner. Sitting in the comfort of wherever you are and making uninformed, unintelligent assumptions. You need to get educated before calling people idiiot(s). This is a factual list, a total count of registered voters, no approximation.
Politics › Re: Boko Haram: Soldiers Mutiny, Demand Better Equipment by olapluto(m): 4:55pm On Aug 19, 2014
We dont know what we've gotten ourselve into with this lily-livered GEJ. First time in Nigeria's history that we're having such a high level of mutiny. GEJ keeps dismantling the structure built by our fathers.
When you pardon corrupt officials, you encourage corruption. With corruption, soldiers will have to bribe to get bullets. With GEJ level of corruption, commanders just give orders without equipping the soldiers as if it it their teeth they will use to fight Boko Haram.
Keep it up GEJ. The evil you are creating will catch up with you one day. It is mutiny in the army today. One day soon, it will be sabotage within your security team GEJ. Or your Israeli body guards will turn on you one day soon, except you open your brain, smell the coffee and end this BH thing once and for all.
Highest defence budget in years, still our soldiers are dying like fowl! God will judge you GEJ (and your idiotic supporters)
Autos › Re: Low-priced Made-in-nigeria Hyundai Cars Goes On Sale by olapluto(m): 4:45pm On Aug 19, 2014
olrotimi: my friend, this is not a 'car for all' govt policy, its purely a private mata with the price fixed competitively factoring in forces of demand and supply and cost of production. If you want a cheap car, you can go for the 2nd hand or better still ask your governor to give it to you at subsidised rates.
Maybe the government should concentrate on providing stable power first. Assembling expensive parts in Nigeria cannot bring cheap cars. Only then can we reasonably have a cheap car policy. Our taxes, labour and production costs will be cheaper than most countries, thus we will have brand new cars at about 0.5m.
My main concern still remains the rogue Vaswani in Nigeria. Are we not tired of theives in our national lifehuh?
Autos › Re: Low-priced Made-in-nigeria Hyundai Cars Goes On Sale by olapluto(m): 9:01am On Aug 19, 2014
Is this not the same Vaswani who OBJ deported for top level corruption and thiefery?? GEJ just dey allow Criminals anyhow.
BTW, 1.5m, 1.9m is not cheap! Not many people can save that in a year.

Politics › Re: Failed IMMIGRATION Recruitment, Another Report Gone? by olapluto(m): 10:11pm On Aug 15, 2014
GEJ's strategy when any national disaster happens:
1. Show concern (this may take some days or weeks depending on the pressure he gets to do so)
2. SET UP COMMITTEE...this is a way of pushing the problem back to the people. This is very effective because Nigerians forget things easily. This is why GEJ is sure of reelection even if he kills the father of every Nigerian. Once a committee is set up, NTA will broadcast the formal setting up of the committee. THAT is the end of the issue.
3. Collect committee report and promise to work on it.
4. Case closed.

I challenge anyone with a proof against this to tell me ONE committee that GEJ has set up and implemented their findings. I guess the one he will implement will be that one that elongates his tenure or bans opposition.

Politics › Re: No Bomb Blast Since After APC Victory In Osun State - DSS Spokesperson by olapluto(m): 9:37am On Aug 15, 2014
Thats it. The last respected security agency has gone to the dogs. Jonathan has finally dealt a severe blow to all our security agencies.
1. Civil defence has turned 'guguru defence', or oga at the top. Tools in the hands of PDP politicians
2. Nigerian police is decayed and the carcass being eating by political vultures
3. Nigerian army are trying, but with corrupt PDP sympathetic generals, weapons no reach, bullets are being rationed. So if you go on operation with 50 bullets, by the time you shoot 49, stop and use the last on yourself else Boko Haram will kill you.
4. SSS now have people like Marylin Oga as spox. Not only that, they have become so weak as an organisation that I will say they have become very useless. The only thing scary about them is the Tavor weapon they carry. Boko Haram carried out a successful prisoner release from SSS HQ and this same Marylin Oga was telling us porky lies until one @Ciaxon showed pictures that disproved her.
Nigerians at this moment should just forget about our security agencies. If Boko Haram want to get to the South, they will. Our Security agencies are preparing for 2015 elections with PDP

barcanista: olapluto WHy Buhari candidacy will sell in 2015
1. Buhari is the ONLY Strong, honest, humble, smart and patriotic Nigeria capable of getting enough votes to massacre PDP.

i so Disagree. He is NOT the only one.

2. Buhari as a retired general has all it takes to confront Nigeria's biggest security threat of Boko Haram. As a patriotic Nigeria who understands what it takes to have pride and gallantry in the army, Buhari will not need to sack generals yearly to crush Boko Haram. He alone can draft a plan in his office to smash BH to pieces in a short time.

Was Obj not a General? What happened to the ND Militancy?

3. The soldiers' morale will be at an all time high if Buhari comes in. Anticorruption will make the generals sit up. Currently, we only painfully read the lamentations of our soldiers on the pages of newspapers and online. So far, the PDP led government is yet to address these issues.

Spare us dude. We need a Democrat not a Military Head of State. Inasmuch as I am in agreement of improved soldier's welfare, that is not our only primary problem.

4. Buhari is needed to set the ground for the Nigerian messiah. I sensed from the OP's argument that he wants a 'new generation' president. However, if such a person (e.g Fashola) should become a president now, the problems of NIgeria will consume him in no time. The same problems have swallowed GEJ. In fact, GEJ was swallowed even before he was sworn in. All he's doing now is patching things that alway burst out after each patch. Forget about his NEPA privatisation, SURE-P, etc. GEJ is out of depth.

I don't see Buhari as the long awaited messiah. What makes you think that he is needed to "set the ground"? Is he a forerunner?

Please tackle the Original points. Thanks
At this junction, my discussion ends (all your points have been tackled sensibly here already). You do not need to agree with me mate. At the end of the day, you have only one vote, and I have same number. As for me and my family, NO to PDP and YES to Buhari.
If you have anyone who can gather as much votes as Buhari at this moment, please mention it.

Lastly..If you're the only one agreeing with yourself while you disagree with every other person, what does that make you?

Politics › Re: What Manner Of An Opposition Party Is APC? by olapluto(m): 7:07pm On Aug 12, 2014
Sincerely speaking, the mold of APC is a very good opposition. However, Nigerians have been so battered, emotionally bruised that we have learnt over time to accept our pathetic situation. That is why a government will be so poor and oppositions are not allowed to ask questions. E.g GEJ recently asked for 1B to fight Boko Haram. The ONLY voice raising legitimate concerns about how previous money was spent and why so much money needed when little progress made with former allocations is APC.
Without any opposition, the current government would have ruined Nigeria beyond where it is.

Giannakopoulos: Why did Ghaddafi not include that he jailed a lot of innocent politicians,we all are judging from this beautiful coined statement of his, even Adolf Hitler in his reign always proclaimed he was doing the right so as other world cruel leaders, take it or leave it,Ghaddafi was not a good man,but NATO didn't have any rights to strike him.
Those innocent politicians are the ones ruining Libya now with their ethnic bigotry and ethnomiliticias. Ghadaffi understood Libya more than anyone, and he ruled Libya in the best way ever. For every bad action attributed to Ghadaffi, 20 worse crimes are committed by those accusing him.
The incidence that caused the 'no fly zone' is small compared to the genocide against Palestinians by Israelis. Why has NATO not thought of a 'no fly zone' to protect Palestinian civilians?

Why should you cancel your wedding? Did he say he wants to marry the other woman? My dear, its your cross, so you should carry it gracefully. If you have the intention of being with another man, then pls leave him. If you love him, and he loves you pls stay.
The pregnant lady is trying to boss you and you have to be ballsy and possess your possession. Not many good men out there. Especially in UK.
BTW...can I get an invite to the wedding (cos am sure you wont cancel it)

Collected his rice, his kerosene, allowed him to come from Abuja and eat his guguru, endured his armed thugs, collected his 2000 naira at polling booth yet we voted against him. We are the people of the State of Osun.
I can assure you all that come 2015, Osun will remain APC and Jonathan can just remove Osun from states he can ever think of winning.
Politics › Re: Lai Mohammed: Jonathan Behind My Arrest By Military by olapluto(m): 6:24am On Aug 10, 2014
Why use masked men for elections? Armed thugs and militants wearing masks can kill anyone and get away with it..
Anyways I am so proud of my state right now. We remain the ONLY state in the South to reject PDP in all forms. For presidential elections, APC can count on Osun state to deliver.
CAN Osun state can now focus on religious functions after being used by PDP for the last 4 years.
And as for Omisore, I guess its time to go back to Abuja where he came from. Eating corn in all its form did not deceive us.
For Obanikoro, Abduljeleel Adesiyan and other PDP thugs in SW, the people will fight you with their votes. Ekiti is the eye opener we needed to wake us up. Next time, if you bring the whole of Nigerian army to SW to win elections, it will fail.
