akintun: D significance of dis race is dat Fraser price cannot catch Okagbare when she is in frontCorrect. Even in the 100m, the Jamaican bubble will burst the day Blessing gets her starts right. Once Blessing was in front at the bend, I knew no one could catch her. |
Its proven! Frayser-Pryce CANNOT catch Blessing Okagbare. Blessing beats them all |
Diamond league comes to England tomorrow 30th June. 3 Nigerians are running. Blessing Okagbare in 200m against Carmelita Jeter and Fraser-Pryce. The race should mainly be between Blessing and Fraser-Pryce. I'm not a betting man, but I do not think Fraser-Pryce can beat Okagbare in 200m. We have all seen the 100m between them is always very tight. Okagbare is a slow starter, but best finisher in women sprint. If you're around Birmingham, you can get tickets for £20, but the seats remaining are not too good. 400m- Regina George makes her diamond league debut. She's in a very strong field, a PB will be an achievement Ajoke Odumosu in 400m hurdle- she's here to fine tune her races. I dont expect her to push too far. |
But who took the guy's picture? That is the person most at risk. |
I would have thought they will be sent to Sandhurst. When did Nigeria start sending cadets to US? |
A draw will see Nigeria through....as one of the best third positions. Even if the team loses by a goal margin, they can still qualify. |
I didnt expect less from Kayode. He has a reputation for missing glorious chances |
The team served its purpose: To tell us our position in world football. The obvious lapses were glaring. The positives are massive, the negatives are minor. Mark Lawrenson (popular premier league pundit with BBC) was full of praise for the Nigerian team against Uruguay. The potential of this team is exciting. If the team qualifies for the world cup, I expect to see a formidable team all together. This current super eagles are hard to play against. They are very effective going forward. The finishing part is a psychological thing. Once they calm down and become more confident, goals will come. Oboabona, Omeruo, MIKEL, Echiejile, Ambrose, Musa and Oduamadi are all almost sure of making the world cup team. I will like Keshi to try out some local goal scorers. Gbolahan Salami is matured and gives that bullish central striker option. He can deputize for Emenike. The wings are OK once Victor Moses and Oduamadi are back. Unfortunately, I think Sunday Mba runs out of ideas quickly. Nosa Igiebor is a better option. Fegor Ogude is toooo sluggish, John Ogu is excellent. Micheal Babatunde needs more confidence. Gambo |
Mount Zion Faith Ministries almost messed up my childhood. All these their films where Ishawuru is always fire-bombed by pastors. Ayamatanga who followed her friend to the house where the door jammed. Abule Muwonleru. I was fooled then, I am not fooled now. This clip is staged 100% |
Same problem affecting the senior team is affecting the U20. No decent striker. Watch out for Kayode as he wastes so many chances. |
NO. With Emenike in that team, the results will be more like: Nigeria 12- 1 Tahiti Uruguay 2- 4 Nigeria Spain 3- 3 Nigeria. Oh and if we can find a better keeper. Enyeama's reflexes are failing him. Or maybe he just wasnt in this tournament. |
You think Yakubu is bad? Ideye is horrible! |
Where is Emenike ![]() ? Nigeria should be 3-1 up now |
Enyeama's papa johns saves Nigeria |
Uruguay very disrespectful with that line-up! An insult to Nigeria and Tahiti! |
Nigeria will qualify if: 1. Tahiti beat Uruguay, and Nigeria draw or beat Spain 2. Tahiti draw Uruguay and Nigeria draw or beat Spain 3. Uruguay beat Tahiti by less than 3 goals and Nigeria lose to Spain by 1 goal. 4. Uruguay beat Tahiti by more than 4 goals and Nigeria beat Spain by 4 goals. 5. Luis Suarez bites a Tahitian player and Uruguay get suspended None of these 5 is sensibly possible. Number 4 is the only one within Nigeria's grasp. But with Ahmed Musa's legs faster than his brain, I think we will have a spirited game with little goals to show for it. |
Kayode is the type of player that can be great on his good day, and totally rubbish on his bad days. Most times, he mixes both |
Sincere 9gerian: ** 2015: 200 S-West PDP chieftains storm Lagos todayThe spent politicians of yesteryears!! Rafiu Jafojo (Deputy to Lateef Jakande), Isiaka Adeleke (perennial failure of Osun state), Olubunmi Etteh( disgraced in house of rep allocation saga), Adebayo Alao Akala, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Olusola Oke, all failures. In summary, this is a list of failures endorsing a failure. They carry no weight. In fact, over half of the people on this list should be in jail. Bode (Tewonde) George(ex-convict), Ayo Fayose, Segun Oni, Ayo Arise (disgraced thug), Adeseye Ogunlewe, should not be walking the streets in any sane country. |
If you want a picture of the bad bad governors, look at the pix above. Simples |
Nigeria line-up: Enyeama (c); Ambrose, Omeruo, Oboabona, Echiejile - Ogu, Mikel, Mba - Oduamadi, Ujah, Musa. Very solid line-up. John Ogu has a chance to seal his place in the team and replace Onazi. Only problem is that Ogu is too similar to Mikel. |
Charged with espionage. I would not put it beyond Yvonne Ndege. The last video she made about interviewing a soldier was a propaganda and she should have been reprimanded then. Her cups are full now. |

New York, London, Sydney, Jerusalem ALL HAVE SLUMS! How many of them show case their slums? This video does not contain lies. These places and realities are on ground in Lagos. It is true Lagos is moving; moving at a rate faster than Nigeria itself. The state has been silently working since 1999, while other states have unfortunately been working on their politics. As an Ibadan boy, I envy Lagos and cannot but wish for A Tinubu/Fashola 16 year combo in the state. No matter what anyone says, Lagos of today is a quantum leap from Lagos pre 1999. |
CFCfan: Ogude will be the hard tackler in the midfield, while Mikel will be in a deep-lying playmaker role.John Ogu is a better replacement for Onazi. Only problem is ogu is slow, same as Fegor. I'll opt for Ogu anyday anytime |
It is reports like this that confirms what the execuTHIEVES think of ordinary Nigerians. Why do they LIE through their teeth without fearing God?? 1.2 million jobs created ? Where? in what state? I think we ordinary Nigerians owe it a duty to ask for more evidence of these perennial lies of unsubstantiated development. |
ngozievergreen: full stop.Self delusion is not something that can be cured. Inferring from one thin source confirms a fickle mindset to me. |
These cut off marks for Northern students is a disgrace to education, a disgrace to the learned men in the North. This is not encouraging at all. This means that a student who scores 120 in Osun is considered a failure, while a student with 5 in Yobe is on the merit list. More analytically, any student that can write his name and shade A for all questions in Yobe will pass n merit. Why bother study for the exam? |
Inik: @ColinUdoh: Folks, no live transmission. But there are links. Unfortunately, not quite sure they are legal, and I don't promote illegal links #KENNGAWhat a dumb comment from Colin Udoh. Over sabi dey worry that guy. |
GenBuhari: She also has the fastest time so far in the 200mDepends on her coach, I personally would love to see her run the 200m. She has the finish. If she runs 200m and Long jump, we're guaranteed at least a gold in Moscow |
