The more I think about the Woolwich attacks, the more it looks fishy to me. I think MI5&6 have a direct hand in the soldier's death. |
luvable sam: wow is dat not a new African Record?dis should be African fastest time 10 years if not Eva!go gurl we dey ur backWind is +2.2m/s which makes it illegal, so it will not be on record. But Blessing is looking good this season. At least she's proven she can break 10.80 barrier. |
The report was hastily put together and that was a give away. The picture shown looked 90% like a BH fighter killed than a soldier or civilian. Soldiers dont drag their dead colleagues on the floor. Moreso, the report is contradictory. The undercover soldier showed pictures of burnt houses, while also stating that the operations were done in Sambisa games reserve. |
I keep saying this gal will win a medal for Nigeria in Moscow. She's just run 10.75s in 100m to come second to Frayser-Pryce. Wind not legal, but Blessing got her start right for the first time in a long long time, and the result is 10.75. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5PicgC_iy8 |
Just an analogy here: When a terrorist strikes, Muslims and Imams are called to condemn the attacks. Fair enough! But when Christians loot treasury and commit bad acts (Erastus Akingbola as a prime example), no one calls daddy G.O to condemn them. We all know most of the corruption in Nigeria has religious backing one way or the other. This same daddy G.O that was with Ibori, Jonathan and other well known thieves refuses to condemn them so as not to 'influence people' |

Lets just say Super Eagles are playing away. Mexicans fill the stadium ooo |
mikelreal: no any other free app?You can use the trial Puffin free for 4 weeks or so |
Emmysteve: does it work on android? Can you download 'Puffin Browser'? You may have to pay a few quid for it. If you manage to download Puffin, you can stream the match live on your phone. Puffin supports flash and is very neat |
siddiq202: Please who is John Ogu? Which club does he play for? Just hearing his name for the first timeJohn Ogu is a tall, powerful midfielder who plays in Portugal. He mostly plays as a defensive midfielder and is very good at it. He will be in holding midfield alongside Onazi. |

Ironic that most non-muslims want Muslims to come out to condemn terrorism, but it's just a ploy to insult Muslims further. Every time a post is here stating the condemnation of terrorist activities, the non-muslim bandwagon is always there ready to insult Islam and Muslims. I have stopped condemning the acts openly due to this. I condemn it in my mind and take actions where I can to condemn it. I care not what anyone thinks of me. For those who are able to watch Youtube, please watch the sermon below given by an Imam in London after the latest incident at Woolwich. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rU9yNAxOKg&feature=share and here is a comment by an ex-British soldier about what the Imam said: I am an ex British Soldier who has no problems with Muslims, Catholics, Protestants, Sikhs, Jews, Bhuddists or any other religion, what I do have a problem with is idiots who act in the name of religion. The Iman is an obviously a very well educated man who mentions that when a muslim person dies in a foreign land, that every muslim should feel it. Oddly enough that is exactly how we feel in the military..be it if you are serving now or served 60 years ago. Maybe we are'nt so different after all |
Why are Lagosians making mouth? Ajimobi is building something better in Ibadan. |
babyosisi: HereThe only evil here is you and your blind condemnation of a religion. You've been mixing religion with culture and sometimes traditions just to paint a picture which most enlightened people are not buying. The topic is an appraisal of the kindness of Muslims. This is obviously making you feel uneasy. You are bringing out silly stats to back up your sour feeling about Muslim's tolerance. You are too small (and obviously not intelligent enough) for what you're doing. Do you know Romanian Christians marry as early as 10? |
babyosisi: You are going too far, crossing oceans and looking to AsiaUneducated stereotype! and is the Northern gal complaining to you? |
Unwarranted insults being hauled on Muslims for commendable acts of kindness. Shame |
lastpage: RIP to the lost souls.Enough of this nonsense. People have been trying to justify this shocking act of violence against the police. Even if 1000 men were sent to arrest a toddler, does that mean they deserve to be killed? It is rather shocking that the Ombatse have been jumping around giving interviews while no arrest has been made (at least to my knowledge). It is a real shame that Nigerians pitch tents against humanity when they wish. |
Personally, after learning more about Adebolajo, I dont think he should be called a terrorist. He is a murderer, but technically not a terrorist because he solely targeted a combatant. Read this commentary by Glenn at the Guardian for an understanding of the terms. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2013/may/23/woolwich-attack-terrorism-blowback |
iHustle: Christians that commit those evil acts do not do them in the name of Jesus Christ neither do they quote the words of Jesus or his Apostles. So that makes them lesser terrorists? |
maclatunji: You know your problem? You were traumatised and gravitate towards things that you feel can help you cope. The western world through which you seek to validate your myopic ideas has it hands deep in every major terrorist network out there. Without them, Osama bin Laden would have been an outcast with few followers, they brought him up and now the world is in turmoil. No that is not a problem for her. Once you're Muslim, you deserve insults and should be talked down to. You see her trying to define terrorism, when the greatest terrorist are well known. Maybe we should do a 10 year headcount of incidences of aggression against innocent civilians. Maybe then we can come out to define who is a terrorist. |
babyosisi: That was a pew polldodgy poll. And who told you Hamas and Hazbullah are terrorist organisations? Oh I know who told you, the same set of people who control how you think. |
I must say I'm almost tempted to give up on this issue of 'Muslims renouncing violence'. Imams do this every week, some persons have been banned from holding gatherings around Mosques. Almost all mosques in London have measures in place to curb this unislamic doctrination of violence. The unfortunate thing is that some individuals have personal issues to sort out against the governments, and are hiding under religion to do such. Why must Muslims be insulted, labelled terrorist and expected to condemn terrorism everytime someone acts stupid? How many times were the pope or christian leaders called on to denounce the violence of Christian terrorists? The guy in Norway is a viable analogy. |
When Kolawole Olawuyi was seriously exposing him. His 'new age' followers probably wont know this. |
They no fit try that one in naija. Our poo is solid as rock. If they try recycle it, it will come back out as solid |
The more his story develops, the more I see a frustrated youth. I know his type because I have friends who are like that. British society is ill. The social gap is getting wider and the level of discipline amongst 'ethnic minorities' is falling sharply. Last year, a former classmate of mine was jailed in UK for terrorism. We were mates for 2 years and throughout that period he was hardly a Muslim except by name. Even though we had a mosque close by, he hardly came to the masjid. Rather, he only comes on Fridays, jokes around with everyone, very unserious with his works, but very jovial. When we all left school, some of my friends called me to say he's now a 'radical' and had grown beards and all. I laughed it off until he sent me a request on fb. I added him quickly but he never talked to me. All he did was share disturbing pictures and rallies on my wall. He was more interested in counter-rallies against EDL. His interpretation of Islam was grossly flawed, and this was very evident in the things he was posting. After untagging myself for many times, I had no choice but to unfriend him. Next time I saw him, was on BBC on the day of his trial. By the following day, his mugshot was on major newspapers. That made me understand a bit about how much radicalisation is going on in Britain. Youths are frustrated, and they are becoming easy prey for some evil elements with bad intentions. These elements have been chased from almost all major mosques in London. They congregate in youth centres and other meeting places. I have witnessed Juma'a Khutbah interrupted by a brother who felt the Imam wasnt saying what he wanted to hear. Old Kent Road Mosque has a strict stance on those kind of brothers. The Imam is a Nigerian and well respected. Micheal Adeboloja comes across as a frustrated youth to me, who sought for guidance, but met the wrong guidance. Allah will judge where Micheal went wrong because what he has done is evil and has no place in Islam. I know it is not the right time to perhaps say that the society failed Micheal, but that is the fact. A lot of former 'bad boys' on the streets of London want to change their lives. However, the society seems to always tell them they cannot measure up. They are been subtly told by the society that they cannot measure up to or get near positions in Whitehall. Hard times for the ordinary London youth. |
They 9so-called moderates) give the islam a false human face and you can bet your last buck that you will never see a moderate come out openly and denounce these criminals.
You've been putting false quotes and conjectures on this forum all in the name of trying to paint Islam as you want it painted. What you do not realise is that people are wiser now. Islamophobia has been turned on its head. You can continue posting those falsehoods, it encourages people to want to verify it. When people read the Quran to find out those references, they will most likely never take you serious again. The way you twist those verses with your evil intentions will backfire on you. |
lagerwhenindoubt: No amount of verbal condemnation will result in anything positive in Muslim communities where such councils and organizations aggressively support an environment where ISLAM thrives in violence, intimidation, isolation, intolerance and injustice. When Anjem came out on the streets of London offending the senses of every born Briton, threatening to kill their children men an soldiers, inciting hatred in the hearts of ready fanatics. where was thi sb.ullshit council to lock him up or at least ask this beareded-monkey to shut-up and realize his rent and feeding is being paid by the same government he lays his threats on. You do not know what you are saying.. let me break it down to you.. You belong to 0.0009% Peaceful,Docile Muslims (not useful for Islam) the remaining 99.9% are hell bent on wiping earth off its non-muslims.I believe 99.99999% of Muslims are peaceful, but the very tiny minority get all the attention. I doubt if any other religion can boast of that figure |
BoboYekini: Look at this punk. snivelling closet terrorist like you. Who mentioned anything about apologising? Your statement reeks of that malingering tacit approval that you pretentious 'moderate' moslems give to these babaric mad men. And then of course you have collections in private to finance terror.I do not insult people. I argue with them educatively. State your case and we can argue it. Whatever you make of my statement is as far as your reasoning can go. Why should Muslims be stampeded into making statements (thus apologising) for every act of terror (even when most times Muslims are victims themselves)? |
BoboYekini: If the 'moderate' muslims and their clerics cannot/will not come out en masse( i'm talking full-on press conference and even street marches) to denounce/condemn these types of babaric behaviour, then I spit on them all.Worse things will spit on you too. Muslims have always condemned violence, but unfortunately that will not make the news. The Muslim Council of Britain condemned the incidence within few hours of the incidence happening. Imams always condemn violence, but that is never OK for people whose motives is to decolour Islam. Having said that, I think it is wrong to expect Muslims who have no hand in the violence to start apologising for it. I practice my Islam as I know it and I'm not sorry for anobody's actions. |
Mayor of London, Boris Johnson says: IT IS WRONG TO BLAME THIS MURDER ON ISLAM. That is a very sensible and educated man talking. All you half-baked people jumping on this incidence to propagate your lazy agenda are gullible if you think it affects Muslims. |
They may need another COBRA meeting tomorrow morning if these EDL boys are not all sent back to Eltham where they came from |
He is likely a British citizen. Why must his roots be brought up when he commits a crime. Can we please have this label for Nigerians representing well in UK? Can we call Chuba Akpom a Nigerian too please, Christine Ohuruogu, Gabby Agbonlahor, Carlton Cole, Andrew Osagie, Idowu Phillips, Ronke Phillips are all Nigerians but never referred to as Nigerians. This guy probably has never stepped into Nigeria, so why call him Nigerian? His accent is a proper Londoner's innit! |
