neuf:Nigeria is a fake creation ,does places you mentioned where normally an extension of oyo empire before colonization. There was nothing like Nigeria in history of the world. Does are yorubland areas called dahomey. No right thinking yoruba person willl support an invasion.Nigeria is 419 creation for english profit and enterprise |
So because the 'slaves ' in the west were black, then the Russian slave trade can be ignored within the context of your position? Russia might not have dealt in black slaves, but they had one of the largest serfdom practice... https://www.opendemocracy.net/en/odr/living-legacy-of-russias-slavery/ Russia participated in the Berlin conference & even signed the treaty, meaning it agreed to the sharing formula but it already occupied more than enough territories at the time & did not need any more at the time. Russia didn't need Africa's resources... it had enough from territories it already annexed. Russia propped up regimes in Uganda, Kenya, Somalia. Even today, they are in CAR... ... but wait, what is even your logic here? So because Russia didn't 'disturb' Africa, then it is right for them to invade a sovereign state? [/quote So how does the war affect you has an african ?are you thinking of that at all?i waht a world with different powers until such a time africans will also have power to be able stand and say no to many unfriendly offers such has foreced loans ,forced econonic theories, corruption ,divide and rule and all other vices that has hindered the growth of the continent..we must be see has partners and not servants.we have the resources and should be a great continent. |
they were invited and backed by the government. In hypothetical situation where Russia was helping Ukraine fight the seperatists, then the conditions would be different. But going into a country you're not wanted from the government down to the citizens is a different ball game. Anybody with military knowledge will tell you that [/quote The seperatists are russians ,they are just like the chinese in hongkong or singapore with links to the homeland.donesk, luhansk, karkiv are russian speaking and 17pecent of the population in ukraine .They have been killing them for 8years because they wanted ro be indepedent like crimea. |
neuf:It had redlines and you donot have to cross it,because russsia is the target.if he didnot attack today it will eventually be tougher in the future ,when they might have joined nato and staioned weapons russia. From kiev to moscow is 10minutes by misslle, from kiev to moscow is 5 minutes using hypersonic missles.and its really easy from ukraine to enter russia because lf proximity.so everybody understands your position i also do ,but why provoke the country? |
neuf:With russian elite force ,with airpower ,they will take ukraine in 24hrs.Check Alepoo what they did thier, the level the town. All this current soliders in ukraine are not the main guys.it wants negotations and wants ikraine to agree to his own terms |
ivandragon:Russia NEVER had black slaves nor did Russia create a market to trade black people. Russia NEVER participated in the Berlin conference to share Africa like some piece of goat meat. Russia NEVER colonised, underdeveloped and looted Africa's resources. Russia NEVER enabled a safety net for African leaders to hide stolen funds, use these stolen funds to develop itself and then grant the same funds back to Africa as loans. Russia never invaded and destabilized any African country Those who did the aforementioned are the ones pushing the narrative that "Russia" has become the Boogeyman... Those who colonized and for about 100 years refused to share their technology with Africa want Africa to like those they like and hate those they hate. Nah! Never again! If Russia is the Boogeyman, then the west the devil himself |
PrinceOfLagos:Obey the court order first ,its a federal court. |
yanabasee:This is not bullying, ukraine is a partner and a spring board to fight russia.Ukraine was part of the soviet union intime past and they were a creation of stalin. There is know where in history that yiu will read about ukraine being a country or a power in time past, they were just a nationality in the former soviet union.donesk luhansk, karvik are all russian speaking areas in ukraine.Go and read the history behind the formation.Even crimea was formerly russia and was donated to ukraine in history. |

neuf:It has not been deployed and it very effective ,any country that buys the s400 get sanctioned . |
neuf:You are not a military analyst or expert, even ordinary rational person knows that this is just 10 pecent of russian force deployed pending negotiations. They are trying fo reduce civilan and infastrutural damages to ukraine. You should know by now that the americans have achieved their main objectives in the war, sanction russia ,seperate russsia from europe ,and arm deals ,many european countries have increased their defence budgets and the money goes to america. |

POSTED INTECHNOLOGY Internet penetration: Why South East remains lowest at 13.7 million users March 2, 2022 •Inadequate infrastructure, low broadband connectivity fingered By Juliet Umeh South Eastern region of Nigeria comprising of Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi and Imo states has been ranked poorly in internet penetration. The region’s internet penetration rating is even poorer than the troubled North East of the country where insurgency has refused to abate for over a decade. The ranking which is contained in the Bureau of statistics, NBS report for the last quarter of 2021 has jolted many technology enthusiasts who reeled out several factors possibly fuelling such a debasing rating. READ ALSO: ICT contributes 15.21% to GDP in Q4’21 — NBS According to NBS, internet usage in Nigeria in quarter 04, 2021 South Eastern Nigeria recorded 13.7 million users, which is the lowest among the states, except North East. NBS data shows that in the quarter under review, South West region has the highest online users with 41.7 million followed by North Central with 26.6, North West has 25.4 users. Others are South-South which has 20.8 million internet users and troubled North East which has 13.8 million. Many experts have said that the data is not unconnected with lack of infrastructure, low broadband connectivity, and population size among others. Founder and Executive Vice Chairman of Signal Alliance, Mr Collins Onuegbu, regrets that South East lacks infrastructure while describing the report as sad. He said: “One of the factors against fast internet penetration in the south East is inadequate infrastructure. Of particular concern is little or no broadband connection in the region. “I remember I worked with one of the governments in South East and one of the things recommended was the focus on broadband connectivity and that we should collaborate with telecommunications companies to bring broadband connectivity. So until the region improves on that it’s going to remain a problem. “Sometimes it’s also about Right of Way. The South East is very difficult to do business. Sometimes, telecom companies struggle to put the infrastructure that will provide connectivity. So, to boost penetration, governments at all levels there should make the environment business friendly. I think the telecom companies should have to get support from the local governments to make sure that infrastructure are easily deployed there” he advised. A woman tech expert, Ms Ugochi Igbojekwe who is the country Lead for UzorTech, a consulting company, also echoed Onuegbu’s position that inadequate infrastructure was the major problem. She said: “For instance, if there is no power supply for two days, your internet would not run. If you have a modem, it could have died because you didn’t charge it. “So, I will say it’s about infrastructure and which also bothers on what government can do. If the government can provide enabling environment that can allow technology thrive I think that would go a long way”. Co-founder & CEO of mobility Tech Company, Metro Africa Xpress, MAX, Mr. Adetayo Bamiduro, thinks the problem could be as a result of low income levels. He said: “For you to have access to the internet you need to have data and if people are not earning enough money to afford data that presents a lot of challenges. “So, it’s not just an infrastructure challenge, it also has to do with access to finance or income level challenge. “The more we enable our people to earn more money and create economic opportunities for them, the more they can afford constant access to the internet. Also, CEO, Autocheck Africa, Mr. Etop Ikpe, also attributed the problem to lack of compliance to National Identification Number, NIN. He said: “What it means basically is that most individuals or subscribers over there were not captured and could not provide their NIN registration. “The essence of the exercise was to ensure that every internet user can be identified as an individual. And there are users for instance who don’t want to be identified. I think it’s a compliance issue, we need to follow compliance and rules.” Vanguard News |

I was in Badagry today for the Stakeholders' Meeting on the Badagry Deep Seaport Project. 10 years ago, the idea of a deep-seaport was conceived to open up Badagry at Gberefu and to drive up socio-economic development in the environs. The seaport will be sited on 1,103 hectares and on completion, will have the deepest draft and widest berths in Sub-Saharan Africa and will be able to berth large vessels like the 400-meter-long Maersk Triple E class with a carrying capacity of 18,000 TEUs. Our administration is working to deliver the Badagry Deep Seaport Project in 4 phases under a PPP arrangement that includes the supporting roles of the FG through the Federal Ministry of Transportation and the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA). This is not just a project; it is a multi-level opportunity for the progress of all the people of this State in view of the volume of trade and quantum of investment opportunities that would spring up when the project commences, and when it is completed and operational. |
