can I meet up
July 18 interview Aug 20 enrolment deadline
It depends. It depends on how fast the alien authority process your visa
Fund before you go.
Get all you need to travel ready.
I believe if it is not possible, you will not be given visa appointment.
Just get yourself ready. My opinion though. And better still, apply for enrolment extension as suggested

Please who have used post office service recently, I would like to know the price and how many days it will take for your docs to get to Germany.
I used registered mail, from Agodi Ibadan, it used 15 days or so, @# 2950 (my document is a bit bulky though, yours may be a bit cheaper, depending on the weight)

The Form A will be giving to you to fill at the bank.

The breakdown of living expenses will be from your school, you have to request for it and make sure they stamp and sign it and also make sure they state the correct amount to be transferred, the bank will not transfer anything more then what is stated on the letter.

Yes, you must have an account with the bank.

You can open the account and fund it immediately and carry out the transaction.

Mine was a savings account, but I believe you can use a current account too.

You also need to go with a copy of your fintiba account details.
Thanks a lot

Lalaski001:
* Duly completed Original Form “A”

* School bill for the current period/documentary evidence of school’s allowable estimate of living expenses/maintenance fees for the student in case of living expenses/maintenance

* Letter of Admission/Course program- Signed

* Photocopy of first degree certificate(where applicable) – required if for 2nd degree.

* Account Adequately Funded
Please how do I get 1 & 2 above? is it on special request from my school?

The last point showed I must be operating account with IBTC ba? Can newly opened account serve the purpose, or one needs to be existing customer. And did you use savings or current account?

Thsnks

I just received my blocking confirmation from Fintiba this morning. ( I was expecting it on Monday, didn't know they send mails on weekends.)

I funded through Form A with Stanbic IBTC Bank on the 28th of May. They completed the transaction on Friday 8th of June(yesterday), almost 2 weeks after applying.

They charged me 426.7/Euro. and a service charge of approximately N33,000.

So, anyone looking at funding with Form A and is ok with the charges can go to their head office. It is located on the same street with the Germany embassy (Walter Carrington).

Will forward the Blocking confirmation to the embassy by Monday. Anyone with the right Email address should please assist me with it.
Congrats bro.
Please what are the required documents for the transfer. Please give details of the process.

Thanks

what about if there is no stamp but there is signature?
It then depends on the institution. I believe some will accept while some may not.
My opinion though
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 4 by olig(m): 10:34am On Jun 09, 2018
@Grace....

If you have the student copy of your transcripts containing your school's stamp and signature, quickly certify it and send it by the fastest courier.
The response also shows that you did not certify your documents (certificates etc) before sending. Just certify them and send quickly.

On the aspect of the transcripts send directly by your university, at times they make foolish mistakes, perhaps they did not sign and stamp the transcript. Because I have not seen any institution or organization that prefers certified copy above the original document issued and sent directly by institution. There is something wrong, I believe.
Certification is required when they know that the original of a document can not be released.

I have seen a school that mistakingly send only reference letter and leave the most important, which is the transcripts.

JUST HURRY UP, CERTIFY AND SEND

Let us STOP behaving like Nigerian politicians. " if we don't win, then is not a fair election/selection" idea is bad. After all we have not seen the final list.
I have applied for this scholarship before (at M. Sc.) but wasn't given. I rather went ahead with my masters in a Nigerian University.
If you do not make that final list, it is not the end of life, and that is not enough reason to condemn the process. I know there can be improvements. But you don't tell the examiner the type of questions you should be asked. This process is similar to project defense, where the examiner does not ask all the candidates the same questions. Some will not even be asked more than just few questions while some are seriously drill.
We should all know that everyone can not be selected. The rule that favors one will against the other. Some were not even shortlisted for the interview.

This mentality must stop. This is what causes post election violence most time. We believe we MUST win, when we don't even know the capacity/coverage of others. Some believe because they like me most in important cities, I must win................
LET'S WAIT FOR THE LIST
