Read again and again and again....till you finally see the point. That's the only homework for you today!

Politics › Re: So People That Believe A Man Turned Children To Yam, Will Choose Your Leaders? by olisaEze(m): 11:18am On Dec 04, 2021
backbencher:
Not believing in religion does not automatically make you a rational person.

There was one agricultural scientist in the old Soviet Union, by the name of Trofim Lysenko, who had a set of nutty theories about agricultural crop rearing that went against the accepted science. Anyone who opposed him was arrested and executed by the government...including the father of Soviet genetics N.Vavilov.
Note, all the people who were involved in Lysenkoism, and prosecuting its opponents were all confirmed atheists.

Eventually, Lysenko was proven to be wrong, but it was too late for those who had opposed him

I am mentioning this, not to disparage you, or to discredit you, but to make the point that atheism does not mean you have the monopoly on rationalism. The Soviet union was an atheist nation, run by atheists, who did irrational things (like put dissidents in psychiatric hospitals ..people who were not 'mad' by the way)

Man always has to be on guard against irrational behaviour, regardless of the belief.
Stand up from that backbench and come to the front, there’s wisdom in ur talk.

Then all the wisdom about assets & liabilities fly out the window! grin Bros relax yasef dis is Nigeria, who go broke go broke. All it takes is one issue and every single asset of urs will need to be sold to take care of it! Korede Bello got it right, in the end na God win am! grin

Education › Re: #JusticeForSylvester: Parents Of Dowen College Cult Members To Fly Them Out by olisaEze(m):
In times past, fathers were the ones that called out & reported errant sons to the rest of the community so as not to have the family name tarnished. We claim to be wiser than the men of old, so why is our society worse off?

It’s our right to scream our displeasure at whoever is in power, but the real problem is us as a people.
Our values are in disarray and no matter how much wealth we have on display in the gram, we are all piss poor morally.

The authorities of that school should be arrested for colluding with those parents to help their wards evade justice.
Crime › Re: Lagos Police Shoot Woman In The Stomach Over ₦100 Bribe, Beat Her Husband (Pics) by olisaEze(m):
He left his bleeding wife on the dirt to accost a maniac with a gun but came back bruised and the maniac still breathing.

So what was the point??

A smart man would save his wife first, get every info about the shooter and his team next, take his time to hatch a plan and without mercy totally ruin their lives.

Justice in Nigeria is delayed for the lucky and denied for the dead wen it concerns excessive use of force by security agencies as the Fg’s response to the Lagos panel on the Lekki shootings have shown us.

Forget nollywood, in real life a dead man cannot defend anyone. undecided

Crime › Re: “my Father Fortified Me With Charms Before I Moved To Lagos”- Traffic Robber by olisaEze(m): 6:46pm On Dec 02, 2021
Your father fortified you for robbery when he should have just fortified you with sound education and a good example. It’s like dis common sense we’re always talking about is not so common nowadays.

Foreign Affairs › Re: VLADIMIR Putin Orders US Officials To Leave Russia Immediately (Pics, Video) by olisaEze(m):
Fact is Russians see Ukraine as an extension of themselves. Moreso for Putin who is said to have headed the KGB in the old USSR before the breakup. You know that ex-gf always flirting with other guys wen ure around, forming IDC in public but promptly gets wet, deep in the sweet spot between the thighs, once she catches a glimpse of his shoulders. It’s kinda like what the North & the South of this country feels about each other, can’t live with them can’t live without them..... Ye! who stone me bottle! grin

How can two security agencies of the same government engage themselves in a shootout? Something is really wrong with this administration and everyone is just silent playing the Ostrich. We need to ask ourselves who is really in charge of Nigeria right now.
