Crime › Re: The Story Of Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar: How Kidnappers Killed Her by olisaEze(m): 9:35am On Jan 14, 2024
milno:
Exactly but why is it so difficult to elect good leaders?
Tribal/Sectarian sentiments. Nigerians know how to complain about their politicians, but when the polls come, we'd rather vote incompetence than someone from another tribe. We're not one nation, that's why. cool

milno:
Why's insecurity so difficult to tackle in this country?
because we keep voting the wrong people into power!
NYSC › Re: Soldiers Assault Corper Abel Tardoo Nathaniel Who Trekked From Ondo To Abuja by olisaEze(m): 9:16am On Jan 14, 2024
If Corpers can be nominated for Commissioner/Ministerial appointments, I don't see what this young man has done to be harassed by soldiers on the orders of the NYSC. Gone are the days when Youth Corp members were called govt pikin and treated like sacred cows by their host communities. Since this Party came to power in 2015, Nigerian youths have been treated like the enemy! undecided
Politics › Re: We Will Protect Nigerians’ Rights Regardless Of Ethnic Origins – Shettima by olisaEze(m):
We're tired of hearing what you people WILL DO, get to the DO already, haba!! The people that said they'd hit the ground running are still making campaign promises a year later! Someone should epp me ask dis broda if the 85 lives wiped out by the military in Kaduna State were living on borrowed rights?
Crime › Re: Kidnappers Kill One Of Six Siblings Abducted In Abuja by olisaEze(m): 11:25pm On Jan 13, 2024
Starting a GoFundMe campaign on SM to raise ransom for kidnappers is the worst thing to do! All those busybody goody-two-shoes should be stopped at once or else the next set of kidnappers would expect the same energy. Let's not make a bad situation worse with our newfound wokeness, biko!
Politics › Re: Anambra State Turning Into One City State(photos) by olisaEze(m): 11:48am On Jan 13, 2024

Politics › Re: PDP Chieftain Cry Foul As Kano Governor Praises Tinubu Over SC Judgement by olisaEze(m): 11:29am On Jan 13, 2024
There are three independent arms of govt in a democracy, but like Nigeria like Russia, one controls the rest! How else would a Gov be appreciating the Executive for a judgement from the Judiciary. undecided

Politics › Re: Isokay by olisaEze(m):
The first name nominated for the Ministry of Youths was a 66 yr old Abubakar Momoh who was reshuffled at the last minute after public outcry at the oddity of a man that old in charge of the Ministry. In direct contrast to those who claimed the president would hit the ground running, the appointees and their so far lacklustre representation is a far cry from preparedness and more akin to cluelessness! Watch as they blame it all on the Nigerian youths, and not on the poor choices of youth appointments made by the president.

Politics › Re: Obi Visited Immaculate Heart Of Mary Hospital Nkpor, Donated ₦15 Million And... by olisaEze(m): 9:48am On Jan 13, 2024
It was a personal donation yet he mentioned the names and amount contributed by others. A leader that is not afraid to share his glory with others is a rarity in Africa of nowadays where everyone wants to be a jagaban! cool
Christianity Etc › Re: Video Of A Lady Flirting With Evangelist Ebuka Obi During Deliverance by olisaEze(m): 9:29am On Jan 13, 2024

Family › Re: Akure Magistrate Judge Condemns Igbo Custom On Fatherhood by olisaEze(m):
I dunno about the SE Igbos, but in the Igbo speaking Niger-Delta that child will bear the mother's maiden name until the biological father pays the bride price. If the mother marries another man before then, the kid will still bear her maiden name. Bride price is not slave trade, our daughters marry we don't sell them off!

Health › Re: Banker, Amarachi Ugochukwu Commits Suicide In Lagos (Pics, Suicide Note) by olisaEze(m):
Suicide neither knows tribe nor creed, so check up on your friends as often as you can. The pressure of family & society is x1000 more on young adults in Nigeria today than in the past. So sad, what a waste. undecided
Sports › Re: "No Gree For Anybody": Multichoice Makes U-turn, To air All AFCON Matches live by olisaEze(m): 7:39pm On Jan 10, 2024
I bet the initial news that they wouldn't air the matches live on their SuperSports platform was all an advertising gimmick for this. Ndi ala, e work for me sha! grin
Christianity Etc › Re: My Take On The BBC Documentary On TB Joshua by olisaEze(m): 5:59pm On Jan 10, 2024

Politics › Re: Betta Edu: Religion And Politicians Are Nigeria’s Biggest Enemies by olisaEze(m): 3:17pm On Jan 09, 2024
Clown, religion is a problem in Nigeria but it's only pastors that you can complain about. Conveniently forgetting those ones that whip their congregation into a murderous frenzy of bloodlust on Fridays to kill innocent fellow countrymen, women & children that bear them no ill! Hypocrite angry
