Shugar1:It isn't just about the police or SARS, what he described above is happening in every government agency. We are much interested in ending SARS and police brutality now because they have caused more direct deaths, but trust me other institutions have killed more indirectly. |
TechyMm0:Go get some sleep , forget whatever nomenclature, he passed the message and clearly too. It is not like the public don't feel the evil described above, so do not make us believe you are part of them. |
We can now see where it's coming from, deeply rooted, those at the top must be accountable. I have always known that SARS was not powerful without the backing of some people above. The end is near. |
Youngblackbro:Sounds more like this comment is out of place but it certainly makes lots of sense when you give a thought. So deep! |
Crazy, looking to divert the attention, we already know the level of their competence. |
We pray for that day when everyone will stand up and demand for good governance, better transparency and prosecution of the very corrupt at the top. It is coming, remember " a man cannot ride your back unless it's bent" |
TheWalkingMind:I understand where you are coming from, but is it like we don't have the money ? Politicians take way too much ordinarily plus the siphoning too. The problem comes from the top. |
It's hardly going to happen. If you want good things to happen in the force, there must be salary upgrade, how can the average policeman with family get a good life with a salary of less than 100k . The system is just a mess. The salary disparity is just too much compared to some others at the top. It is easier to effect most of the policies we make when you give them what they deserve. We live in a country where the people at the top are heartless. |
It's always important that the groom and bride do their findings prior to every marriage. While it's clear that the groom lied to the church and possibly arranged his sponsors and witnesses, On the other hand there is a need to know if there was marriage banns announcement (3 times minimum) and proper counseling/marriage classes for the intending couple. |
Get a mic and a louder speaker, the world must hear this. Funny set of people. |
Not entirely true Reno, some people try all they can but nobody comes to their aid. Not even to be guided. |
ezenwajosh:Say what you know, do not conclude blindly. https://www.africanews.com/2017/08/09/car-nigeria-pope-francis-condemns-violence-on-christians// Trump had the chance to talk with Buhari personally wen he visited the US. |
Cosmatikka:You can criticize him with facts but do not lay a curse upon yourself. |
Shame on her truly, Very pathetic woman. |
You know what calls to mind when the name Lauretta Onochie strikes : One overzealous and Perfidious lady who sucks at her job. |
Only Christiana will understand |
The guy made a point, the IG and Lagos state government have swung into action. So wait to see what happens next. |
DuBLINGreenb:On point |
These APC Fiffo are capable of so many things, it’s fair to nurse the hope of victory but far from celebration. Let’s keep our fingers crossed while waiting for their Ijebu garri things. |
[quote author=HundredWays post=93735074]Sorry to say this.. But as a graduate, u fall my hand... U for let him take u to the EFCC and let them prove u to be a yahoo boy naa.. U fvck up big time.. 80k just like that?? SMH[/quote I was just gonna day that, he was too scared, unless there is something he’s not telling us |
That’s how inefficient and corrupt our leaders have been, when commissioning roads is all we celebrate. |
A lot people on this platform just know how to blab, it’s easier to say come back home, like Nigeria is without it’s own issues. Most of these guys have lived there all their life and in saner climes they would have been granted citizenship. However our government should just try to work things out with them. I understand the part where he mentioned canvassing for votes with that strategy, who knows if it will keep lingering. |
If he had jumped the Queue, people would have still complained, why not take positives , at least it’s a lesson for the average Nigerian who wouldn’t follow due process. |
Very disgraceful, lies. The police didn’t state that he was drunk or so but I think so. |
Such a shame, you understand why a lot of drivers would not pull over when asked to. They have succeeded in making it not just a fault finding mission but an avenue for extortion. |
We still celebrate commissioning of roads that have been done to siphon funds. A former governor of my state was jailed because of corruption and later released, only to get back to the state and be celebrated. I weep for Nigeria. No politician in Nigeria so far has good intention for the masses. Forget whatever you call the canopy, whether it’s symbolized by broom or umbrella. |
Very pathetic from an embodiment of knowledge, we can believe that there are no corrupt politicians on the other side or may be Magu deliberately left them out. |
Very unnecessary |
Udom is working but he can do much better. While we give him credit, let’s not forget that he’s doing what he should. We all know that in the land of the blind, the man with one eye is the king. |
It’s pathetic how the issue was handled but at the same time he wasn’t supposed to kill anyone. |
No big deal with those resignations, a few big wigs and a good number of rootless SAs. You should expect to have some core OShio localists too. |
Sorta devil’s advocate. |
