like someone posted ABU is in a dilemma... if they say true or false, there are questions they must answer... the only saving grace for them is to hunt down dino partners in crime within the school then push all the blame on them..... but something tells me just like the Apostle vs Stephanie case, this will also die a natural death.... |
Selfie was meant to be a thing of fun,
you take pictures of great moment in
your lives, moment you don't wish to
forget in a jiffy.
Selfie has been taken to another level
recently, Selfie are now taken at any
moment,place or time without thinking
if it is morally right or wrong to do so.
Imagine taking a selfie when an
accidents or a bad event takes place,
isn't helping suppose to be first thing
to come up in one's mind? Little
wonder,some unwise person was
arrested yesterday for trying to take a
selfie during the London terror attack.
Here in Nigeria, youths especially
females have lost it as the only thing
most of them think of is taking selfie
while eating, dancing,in religious
places and some other absurd places.
Is this how we want to continue to
live? Taking selfie even in the dream?
Do you want to exist only in pictures
when there are other sensible thing
you can do.
Like some people do say taking selfie
means you are selfish, I take it to be
true in the sense that when taking
selfie you totally forget about what is
happening in your environment as you
change pose with those fake smiles as
though you just got a new modelling
job.
Truth they say bitter, let's known the
right moment to take a selfie. source - www.trendsng.com/2017/03/this-generation-and.html?m=1

The World Football governing body
FIFA has ban Mali from international
football due to continual government
interference into the affairs of football
in the country.
The decision was taken on Friday
after the Mali's sports minister sacked
the executive committee of its football
federation.
FIFA blamed the actions of sports
minister Housseini Amion Guindo after
he “decided to dissolve the executive
committee of FEMAFOOT (the Malian
FA) and appoint a provisional
committee mandated to run the
association.”
Guindo insisted on having another
election which didn't go down well
with FIFA as they believe the sacked
executive committee can perform.
FIFA said, “The suspension will be
lifted once ministerial decisions are
nullified and the executive committee
of FEMAFOOT and its president,
Boubacar Baba Diarra,
is reinstated." cc lalasticlala source: www.trendsng.com/2017/03/fifa-bans-mali-from-football.html?m=1 |
Nigerians are known for the love of Education but our Educational system is rarely something that can be put to practise as most of the things being taught in Nigeria schools across every level are mostly theories. Nigeria is a country were you hang your certificate across your neck without even knowing little about your discipline. In Nigeria you will see a Professor of Mechanical Engineering that does not know how to top his engine but ask him the definition of Engine and you will have to beg him to stop, is that how to learn? Education in Nigeria is living in it pass glory and as it stands it's losing the glory too all thanks to our ill equipped graduates who have made a fool of education. Most of those who didn't go to school now admonish themselves for not wasting their time on Education as most that had education are no where to be found. Another funny thing is love for Education is dead most students in tertiary institutions now go to school for the sake of going, many have left the course they have passion for, then the question is how will they function after school in a course they have no passion for. They will say I will manage. The only way out of this is to embrace the Asian style of Education, there is no discipline that doesn't have practicals, the government should sit down and put an end to these theories upon theories students cram in school and face the real deal. If we want to develop technologically then let us forget theories. cc lalasticlala mynd source www.trendsng.com/2017/03/education-in-nigeria-living-in-past.html?m=1 |
