Chomzy19: D opinions here on nairaland mainly in d politics, Romance n family section is Acidic n very Toxic to d human mind... In d politics section u'll think there is an actual n very real hatred btw d yorubas n igbos in d family n romance sections well d kind of opinions n things u see there cld rewire ones mentality into sth very spiteful n hateful of d opposite sexIt's true, but I see it as difference in opinions. You know, what seems to be right to you may be someone else most wrongful things. And it's all because we see things from different perspectives. I think you just have to learn to accomodate others, abi? |
fabulousfortune: The negative effect it's having on me is dat I'm learning bad thingsBad things like? |

I also appreciate the very intelligent people that have taught me a thing or two, so tis a mixed feeling thingy. Thanks y'all. Nairaland rocks.Yeah, it's a mixed feeling thingy. That's it |
I've been following these all day. It's so amazing to see Mynd doing 'play play tins'. Yeah, most times, he can be very strict and annoying. I wonder who he saw first this morning. *stretch neck to see if he's coming, jumps out through the window* *comes back, relax and compose, awaiting the most lovable, lively, wonderful beautiful Princesa.* Princess, hope you had a good day? Don't mind them jawe. Whoever 'be' kom ur syd, use that giant long chain to tie him up, until he succumbs to your commands. If dem lik, mak dem do deliverance e no go work |
OMA is wishing OAM happy birthday o. Many happy returns, Sir. Hope you really enjoyed today? |
Firstly, I would like to say Nairaland is a great intellectual forum where information, ideas, opinions, are being shared. It's serving as a purpose of viewing the headline news for some, while job and career prospects for some other. Education sections mostly for students is another great section to make mention. The fatanstic Literature section where we read fascinating stories and encourage one another has become a tool for writers where they get people to read what they write and get feedbacks. (Thanks to the readers; who are writers without them). Politics section where we have the 'baba o's e.g Sir Afam and Honourable Jarus' is another enormous arm of Nairaland and other sections. In fact, Nairaland is becoming a blood running through my veins which I must not lack for minutes. I'd feel I'm missing something tremendous if I've not browse Nairaland in a day or 2. But In spite of the pros of Nairaland, yet I found negativities; I notice I don't get jobs done as fast as I used to, unless my battery is down; I could be away from my real life friends without missing them much once I could come on Nairaland and read posts - both the hilarious and intellectuals. So I want to ask what are the postive and negative effects Nairaland is having on you? I know we have experience such one time or another. Thanks. |
Lol... U just won a piece of my heart, pls continue
Frank's like...... |

I hail all Engineering students in the house. Engineering, term applied to the profession in which a knowledge of the mathematical and natural sciences, gained by study, experience, and practice, is applied to the efficient use of the materials and forces of nature. Engineering, quite interesting, but brain tasking and challenging. I belong to the Machine members! |
What's the longest word in the dictionary? |
Mehn! These guys are so so much intelligent. I doff my hat before you guys oh! Fynestboi, kudos to you! I endorse your initiatives. Job well done! |
Yes, I believe. It is a tough issue you have to challenge. If you want to know more, ask Dr. D.K. Olukoya or go to MFM. |
@OP, this is a good question. This question can confuse one like...... I've read so many books on this topic, but I don't seem to fathom it. Many that claimed to have heard from God are just self-deceptive. Some do what they think is right or what their minds tell them and say it's God speaking. Even the so-called pastors sometimes tell lies about this. Holy spirit says this, holy spirit says that.... God speaks through dreams and minds but these are not always reliable because they can easily be manipulated by the devil. He also speaks through His words, but the interpretations some people give God's words are sometimes misleading. Whenever you're turned between making choices, I think that's when best you need to know if it's God speaking. Just look at the situation that surrounds the choice you are about to make, pray to God, and choose what you know is right and best for you. It is very hard to hear from God nowadays because we now live in the world of noise. Also, we live in flesh and not in spirit. My 2 kobo. |
I rep Yaba College of Technology. |
Nairaland personality? Me, I don't know ooo. Why? In real life, I don't understand my character because I'm a very complex being. But I think I do things based on my mood. Chikena! |
Omo.... See bashing for Nairaland! The OP sef no com post again when he sees bashing of the highest order. |
Mathematics all the way............. I thank God for Mathematics, being the foundation of Engineering, it has helped a lot. Maths taught me patience and how to persevere. It also gave me a high analytical sense. Love Maths more than anything else.... |

Caracta: Thanks uj-sizzle.Okay ayaf hear ooo. Seriously, thanks so much. |
Elliontwiz1 OMA4U Oluwatola5 The body of your essays were lacking because you somehow found it of more importance to turn your work to a history/religious(OMA4U) class, and then you forgot the importance of highlighting your points and developing each of them before solidifying your stance with examples relating to each individual point. OMA4U, when next you want to introduce the God factor into your essay, let it enter naturally in each point and use it to your own advantage. It's better than starting off totally with it, thereby boring or putting off those who d tenses.
Uj_sizzle, thanks so much. I ain't good at writing essay. I just gave that a shot and I have learnt from it. Thanks once again. |
Elliotwiz1: did you read about thomas Edison? He did not go to a school! His mother taught him at home! Is she the best tutor? Usain bolt does not have the best tutor! every genius would excell where ever he is, with or without a world class tutor....Okay good! You said Usain bolt does not have the best tutor, right? But do you know since he has been practising before he came to limelight. Usain Bolt who would run inside water for several hours daily; he would tie polythene bags to his legs and run with it at a fast pace. They have it in them though, but that's not enough to succeed, so these people work hard for it. |
