let me tell you a short story told to me my my dad.
My dad said when he was a little boy, probably 10 or so, he could remember vividly that whenever his father(my grandpa) returned from his farm every 3 months, he would share most of the harvested produce to his relatives, brothers, neighbours et al. The remainder to be shared amongst his wives and children was barely enough, so they had to improvise. So basically his father was a father christmas. So after many years when my dad became an adult, he sat his father down to ask him why he did that in the past and his response was thus' That's The price for his children's existence (longevity)'....Alas the man was settling his relatives,siblings et al. just to protect his children cos he knew the kind of place he was from.

My dad's own is different. He doesn't spend in the house and even those he spent on almost killed him. It was later he started chasing them away by himself. Its not bad if you have money, give relatives and at the same time take care of your family but making the people outside think because he can give them that much, his family is receiving double is not good, it made us not have people helping

Goodmorning mamas, happy Sunday to us all.... I wokeup to a sad news this morning.... My hubby was ill on d 2nd of january, with d symptoms he was indicatin my mind was tellin me dis man hs contacted covid ooo cs nirmally, e doesnt protect himsef..... On d 5th of january night, i had a terrible headache which i waved that it will go when i wakeup in the morning... It wasnt even morning yet b4 other symptoms started showing.... I started having bodyaches, couples with heart palpitations, chills n chestpains... I just concluded mayb it was pregnancy packages ooo.... Tnkfully i have midwife appointment in few hours... Will tell her everything goin on wit me.... Getting to my appointments was a nightmare cos i was so weak with fatigue.... Tnk God i got der, my bp was checked n my bp was 88/65, fear gripped me, 88 ke? Dis is bad ooo... My midwife didnt say anythin abt my bp but i sha told her abt my symptoms... She asked if i hv had my covid vaccine i said no... She said i shld go 4 covid PCR TEST dt all d symptoms i mentn r covid related, i said God4bide... After leavin her office, i just ordered for d PCR TEST KIT immediately n got d test kit d following day.... Did d test at home.... But b4 i did d test, to correct my bp, i googled n it was stated dt anemia can cause low blood pressure... So i up my iron supplement, tnk God all d symptoms went away except dt i am still feeling weak n a little nauseous... Went to see my private doctor who checked my bp n took my blood n tnk God my bp is bk to 100.... But this morning i got a shocking positive covid test result... Seriously blank on wat to do at d moment... Me dt dont even go out n made less contact wit outside people... Covid stil com inside com meet me through my husband.... I fear 4 me n i fear 4 my unborn baby but i knw my God will protect me n my baby n will b free soon.... Nothin is gonna happen insha Allah.

Msg to all husbands... Pls na beg i dey beg una.... We woman r doing everything to protect ourselves from infections pregnant or not.... Mk una try dey protect una selves too... We cant b running from all d infectns of dia world n una go dey break our protectn barriers. Pls... Tnk U....

It is well with you and baby, you both will be fine. Talk to your doctor or if there's any hospital that attends to pregnant women with covid, please check in. Very very soon, you'll be free by God's grace

My sister, I don't know if it's old wives tale oo but I've heard that cleaning the nipple helps to open up the pores to let out milk flow. Also read it somewhere on Google too

Congratulations ma, baby is blessed in Jesus name. Did you clean your nipples while approaching delivery? If no, try cleaning and take hot meals like swallow, pap, peppersoup and also drink enough warm water. If you can, get a nursing pillow or nursing pad as it will help raise baby up and make him closer to your breast. You can also neatly arrange some wrappers or blanket in a pile and place on your lap before putting baby.

I'm about 2 months married. I usually say I'm ready to father a child not until madam showed me something this morning and was talking about 5 weeks, missed period, tender breasts (i dey fear to touch them but dy look very attractive) and cramps.

I don't even know where to proceed from. I went and withdraw money. but from what I've read here, it's like we need go hospital first. but, Babe was dancing to work today. If I call her and she does not pick on time, I feel unsettled. Is she ok? what are we supposed to do?

Don't worry, babe is fine and congratulations as you'll soon be a dad. Ensure she doesn't overload herself with work, let her not go and be doing like Jacky as she needs plenty of rest. If she knows her LMP, you both can download a nice pregnancy app and track the progress together, it will make you more relaxed. Let her start taking folic acid, it's very helpful in preventing spinal defects, eat plenty fruits, vegetables and up her water intake. Please and please, the news should be between you both and God (at least for now). In the next 3 weeks(8wks total) , she can go for a scan and afterwards register in a good hospital that has a gynaecologist. If you also want her to register immediately, it's fine. But plenty of work is in both your hands by ensuring she doesn't stress herself at all and before the end of the year, a/two beautiful soul(s) is/are already crying in your house

Good day mummies in the house. I'm 8weeks gone, haven't gone for any prenatal visit yet. Haven't even been experiencing any MS except for slight cramps, fatique in the morning and yes swollen and painful breasts. No vomitting, no nausea. I just experienced a little discomforting cramps while at work this afternoon and i felt a little discharge and decided to visit the toilet. I wiped and saw light blood . Please is there anything to worry about? Sincerely it's the first time i'm seeing blood discharge since i got my BFP. Please is this normal? Any cause for worry?

I think you should get a scan done after which you should see a doctor if you'd be placed on progesterone suppositories or bed rest. Please do that ASAP. Also avoid stress including mental stress too, God is with you

Good morning beautiful mamas. Register me am team July , tho the pregnancy was not planned but it's all good. I was the lady that complained about being scared because of an alcohol intake not knowing I was pregnant, it turn to be two sac but there was no fetal pole on the other.... It's better that way o , i can't through another set of twins.

Good morning mamas.
I am having difficulty passing stool for 5 days now. I cried today as I bled to pass stool coupled with my stitched below.
I was at the health center yesterday and the doctor recommended fruits, vegetables, more fluid which I was doing prior to my visit.
They're using breastfeeding to guilt trip me and not prescribe something. Oyibo dey take stool softener as seen on pinterest.

The pain may last for like 1 week. Healing properly might take upto 4 to 6 weeks, all depending on each individual and level of management in a complication free CS.
Note: Try to take all the drugs given to you when discharged, it helps a lot.
Keep the sight as dry and neat as possible.
Clean with spirit when the plaster is removed.
Don't lift any weight bigger than your baby.
You will be fine.

Take alot of fruits, try to walk around it helps. Pls don't lift any heavy thing. Try to keep the place dry. Don't eat hard food to avoid constipation always eat light. By 6 weeks you will be fine mine healed before 6 weeks. If u want to cough or sneeze place a pillow at d place I were cut it helps to ease d pressure I feel there.
