I did pelvic scan a week before my last period,that's last month and nothing was found.
Also I think it's too early for an ultrasound

So a transvaginal scan was done today (6weeks), and the result said no sac. The bleeding hasn't stopped since friday. So i wasn't surprised when the scan was done. I have moved on and accepted it as God's will.

Please what can cause a delay in period apart from pregnancy..the first time I got a two day delay,it turned out to be pregnancy, my cycle falls within 27-28days,it's day 33,no period,no pregnancy...I'm so worried
Not like I'm taking any medications and I've not stressed my self lately
I just hope I don't have any internal problem

Part 1, pregnancy story

I wanted to get pregnant last year but it did not work. First time I am experiencing delay in conceiving. The three months I tried was one of the confusing and sad moment of my life. I was like after two kids, what will I call this one. My husband need to return to his base that is mainly while I am in a hurry. He returned to base, covid came and I used the lockdown to really evaluate myself.

I found out that I have a poor eating habit and diet. I don't even drink much water. I looked at my period that time, it was very irregular, first time I am having irregular period. I saw five periods in three months. So I just started exercise, upgrade my water intake, quit soft drinks and also started eating vegetables and finishing my food. I am still proud of myself.

Fast forward to December, we started trying again. One month later I did not see AF. Two days later cos my cycle is usually between 28 or 29 days, I checked and I saw a faint positive. After another two days I checked again line is still faint. 1 week later, I checked still the same faint line. I was like OK o, since I am yet to see any period, let me be watching.

All my first trimesters are always delicate. My first one I misscarried, 2nd one I was bleeding like mad but thank God we survived, 3rd one the same threatened misscarriage. So I was advised not to be doing anything stressful, no sex and plenty of rest. So with two kids and no help, my mum agreed to stay with me for 2 months. We were happy. She came, two days later she fell down and broke her leg, her thigh bone the fermur broke into two.  My hubby has to extend his ticket in other to be helping out. But he still travels to other state for business. I was always stressed out.

When I was 8wks, I told my hubby that I was scared, I used to take progesterone in my other pregnancies. He said why should I be, since I am neither bleeding nor spotting which is true. I was also experiencing MS, sore nipples etc. We went to the hospital regardless, after the scan, the doctor wrote something in my file and said we should come back in two weeks time. I was not comfortable, so I told him my history and requested for duphaston, he obliged, he opened my file to write and I saw no fetal pole, I don't know the meaning. I did not ask either because it was clear that he did not want to tell.

ON our way home I entered Google to look for no fetal pole and I started seeing things, I was almost fainting, I was checking for success story of anyone at 8wks and I found none. I broke down and started crying. I explained it to my hubby and he said he did not believe it. What am I now carrying for two months, that sometimes I will be bringing unnecessary panic to myself. He said it is not possible, that I should calm down he knows that his baby is in there, that the blury black and white machine can also make mistake. But I know deep down oga is panicking too.

All the symptoms I was experiencing magically  disappeared except sore boobs and according to Google, that was a sign of blighted ovum. I prayed like never before. But some days later, I was already accepting it as my fate, silly me. I said I will choose d&c as a way of evacuation.
With the believe that I was no longer pregnant, I attacked all the neglected chores. One night after cleaning the whole house at once, I was having nausea and stomach discomfort, I also vomited, my mouth was bitter. I just said a simple prayer.  Then the next day we went to the hospital and we saw a strong heart beat. My hubby was like woman of Little faith. The doctor said he deliberately did not tell me but it was a threatened miscarriage. I was booked for antenatal.

Second trimester was good, my mom was recovering. I was glowing. Hubby has returned to his base. But my placenta is low, which is not really a problem because it was like that with my previous pregnancies, it always move up before I deliver.

30wks I went to a scan centre to check gender, they said baby closed leg. Presentation is breech, posterior low lying placenta 1.4cm to internal os. I also went to lab the same day and I have malaria with low Pcv. I went to hospital the next day, the baby is in ceph position, placenta and blood is still low, I was given drugs for malaria. When I recovered I was trying to boost my pcv. Two weeks later I did another test, it was even lower than before. Thank God for this thread and those that responded to me, My blood level was boosted.

Malaria and pregnancy doesn't go hand in hand at all.
If there is a need to treat you with injections, the doctor will decide this depending on the severity. If the tablets can do the job easily, especially if the malaria is mild, then your doctor will prescribe the drugs to use.

So yester-night I was sleeping and i heard some noises but didn't go out...so this morning I saw this dead cat in my backyard exactly the place I heard the noise yesterday

What do you think possibly kill this cat because i locked my gate and there is no way Dog can enter

Thanks mama. I'm really taking it easy, the only house chores I do is cooking, sweeping and washing of plates. I'm not taking this gift for granted at all.

thanks to those that responded to my call for advice.. I took my wife to the hospital and the doc said the fainting was due to low sugar. She is also receiving treatment for malaria and her samples were collected to run some test. Last last na God win...safe delivery to every mama in the house and baby dust to those ttcing

I'm just looking like I'm I even pregnant? Cos other than frequent urination and extra eating I don't really have symptoms though I'm in my 5th week.
