LOL, it's like you've not heard the song "food no dey, water no dey".. As much as eating is good, this particular type is not good o jaree. How do I cope at work? Lol
my colleagues are now complaining that I'm getting fat (still in first tri oo) by the time the journey enters 3rd, only God knows who will be bigger between myself and Yokozuna.. Even my face is getting darker unlike the other pregnancy I was getting fairer and finer.. All these ones no even do me reach the hunger that is doing "soro soke" for me. Experienced mamas please come my aid.
From yesterday night, hunger started dealing with me. That type of hunger that starts immediately after dropping the last spoon making it seem like I just finished blowing breeze into my tommy.. It's like I should not stop putting food in my mouth because immediately i stop, I'm hungry. What do you suggest I do please, I'm just 11 weeks.

It is well with the world. There's no better time to seek Jesus than now, He is the only rock that can shield us.

Please great mother's,I really need your help as I don't know what else to do. I had sex on August 19(My peak ovulation day). I had a heavy period that very month and so I dismissed pregnancy but afterwards I became very sick. I took strip test out of curiosity and it came out negative and therefore went on to treat my illness (Malaria, typhoid and fever). My question today is that after August period till now I have not had another period but have been experiencing breast soreness and heaviness, low back pain. I can't get access to a clinic till I go to the city but I can't stop worrying.

I wish you baby dust ma, please get a test strip and test again since you can't access the hospital to run a blood test

Why not stylishly prepare his mind by first telling him paternity stories that have been flying around recently and how men reacted to it and then asking him what he'll do if he were in their shoes... That will get him thinking and he might decide to take actions on his own or better still relate any issue to you if there's any at all

Around 11pm that night, the pains became severe, and I was sweating, I went to the bathroom to take my bath and went back to sleep. Around 1am, the pains returned and I had to wake hubby. The pains continued and I was sweating profusely, I removed everything I wore and asked hubby to turn on the generator. When the pains came within 5mins interval, I told hubby to go and call our neighbour to come and take me to the hospital. He said no because I was only 36 weeks gone.

I had the urge to poo, so he took me to the toilet and stood by the door, I only looked a little and stood up that I couldn't sit on the toilet, the urge to poo came again while I was standing in the toilet, so I pushed, then I felt baby's head in my Vagina, I told hubby that baby's head is here, he said it's a lie, I was almost crying while telling him that I was not lying that he should look, he bent down to look and saw baby's head, I had another urge and I tried to bend down and push, that was how baby came out and hubby quickly stretched his hands and baby landed in his hands, and I felt relieved around 3:15am

Hubby became confused, I asked him to get the cord clip and razor blade in the hospital bag. I clipped the cord and cut it. I asked him to bring flannel to wrap baby, bring pad and pant for me, bring wrapper, then he should go and call my neighbor. He quickly called my neighbor. The man and his wife took me and baby to the health center closest to us.

The nurse that lives in the compound, deliver the placenta and stitched the small tear I had. She cleaned baby up and moved us into the room to rest. Came back home around 9am that same day.

There's this yahoo boy that has been disturbing me to go to his hotel room. He's a course mate. God knows how many times I've turned him down. I'm tired. So I want to tell him I have a vaginal infection that could be sexually transmitted.

My dear, may God have mercy. Way back 2009 I visited a male friend , we've been friends for long and were even church members and I know his parents as his dad was also one of our pastors. That was how he started emergency toasting and was trying to get close. It would have almost led to rape if I hadn't told him my enemy had HIV. I act drama in church so the display was perfect and he was even sympathetic with my enemy... Only God knows what he thought of me after then, lol.
Don't go to the hotel room, if possible, cut communications with him so you don't get lured through jazz. Don't lie of having an infection just let him know you are not interested politely and be prayerful

I think your husband doesn't want you to be to frequent in the village. Trust me your nuclear family are happy with you and all that has to do with you whenever they see you but you may not be able to genuinely say that about your extended family and other villagers.. You did not see anything wrong with it because you grew there and actually there's nothing wrong with it. My people also say "if you have a bountiful harvest of yam, you don't expose it to the world while you eat".
Myself and my siblings didn't grow up in the village but had life changing experiences because our parents who grew up there took us there which my mum deeply regretted as she knew what she nursed after then. Though my mum is currently there but I'd prefer she comes down to Abuja than I go down there.
Sit with your husband, let him tell you why he insists. He might have experiences he has never shared with you or some other reasons. Get to know his reason and above all, keep your Home because daddy and mummy kept theirs.

Pregnancy is a thing of joy but my 1st trimester has been terrible and making me miserable. Serious stomach pain that isn't going, vomiting, severe tiredness and weakness, nausea, loss of appetite. Who have I offended that mine is different is the question I keep asking myself.

Sorry, it is well, in a little more time your body will adjust and get better. Ensure you eat in bits and don't go starving cos of appetite loss, also rest well. For the stomach pain, see your doctor to be sure its normal. By the way, this your MS is really more than what you were expecting, I remember when you said you weren't feeling anything but now you are feeling everything, you did not offend anyone and many people experience more.
Mine is just general weakness which crept it after treating typhoid and maybe from using duphaston.. God will see us through

B.A...bye to October Mama's. My baby came on September 22 through Emergency CS due to high blood pressure, at 35 weeks. My baby is fine and weights 2.22kg.

Thank God for a successful surgery! I welcomed my princess on Sept 29 through elective CS. Mum and baby are fine, though yet to be discharged.

I may be overreacting but just say something nice to me. So, I tried not to get pregnant because am in school and hubby said he's fine with our two boys. Am a graduate of Arts o but I have always liked health related courses so I applied in a private school of health last year and was admitted so I knew pregnancy was out of place but as God would have it,I got pregnant this year when my second son is almost 8 years and we couldn't do anything but to keep the baby. The school didn't give any condition against pregnancy unlike govt schools. Now I was posted to a govt hospital for my first clinical practice after completing the first year in school and I have faced different kinds of body shaming and tongue lashes from my fellow women. Different ill comments. One called me today and said during their times,o would have been expelled but because of money private schools need,they allowed me,how could I ever think I could do the two successfully? Am I even comfortable with this pregnancy among my fellow students? Some days ago,a nurse I was to run afternoon shift with sent someone to tell me to go back home because she would not work with me. Our supervisors came today and a man pointed at me and told our provost that he's impressed with my smartness and diligence despite my condition but the women are frustrating me even when I try to do my best. Honestly,it got to me today and I started crying.
SORRY AM RANTING HERE,I JIST NEED TO POUR MY HEART OUT AND HUBBY IS NOT AROUND.
