Hello Mothers and Pops.

My 6month old son has been stooling since Tuesday (6 times in 24h)... At first I felt it was the potato and beans I gave him cos the poo was yellowish. I started giving him ors and zinc plus plenty water. He loves water. Then I introduced SMA gold to his pap and the stool worsened plus changed color to greenish black strewn with mucus. I noticed the change in his stooling and stopped the SMA gold but it has continued.
I don't know what to do again... He has lost a bit of weight but his playfulness is still topnotch. His apetite and sleeping is normal.
What else can I do to stop the stooling or should I take him to see a doctor?

Could it be that he wants to or has started teething? Cos I know some babies pass stool when their teething process is about to start. Keep him hydrated always and you can take him to the clinic to prevent being too worried

It looks like Airtel just wiped off the N1,000 airtime I got yesterday from Brother Anony.

I used N500 to top up my data only to wake up this morning to realise the remaining airtime was gone. Now, the top up data from the freebie is equally gone.

Who else experienced this?

Birth story of my twins

On 12th oct, i went for regular antinatals.On seeing the gynecologist,i expressed my concerns about how tired i was with the pregnancy and how i want it over with( they were use to my usual rant) that was 38wks 3days.

I had initially told them that my two previous kids were born at 41wks and that i was worried my twins would get to 40weeks at least.

On the 12th being monday,i went for my regular antinatal and i insist that i should be checked....gynecologist declined that he will only check me at my next visit which would have been 39weeks 3days.

I have had two kids before now.However,i do not know what labor is all about.My worries were that i might fall into labor at home unknown to me since i have never had labor pain before.(i usually dilate without pain or cramp)

Finally,gynecologist decided to check me after i narrated my two previous stories to him.On checking me,i was already 5cm dilated.I was admitted immediately.
Dh had to take our kids back home (they came with us to the hospital).Dh couldn’t make it back on time due to traffic and i refused to go to labor ward for doc to rupture my membrane (i told them i needed to wait for him.(He missed the birth of the first two due to the nature of his job.i didnt want him to miss this one).At about 8pm,he got to the hospital,we went to the labor ward together and i was already 8cm.The 3 doctors attending to me were beyond surprised as they couldn’t believe someone can be 8cm without pain.

My membrane was ruptured and contraction became strong and almost unbearable.I held Dh hands tight whenever the contractions starts....at a point,i had to hold the bed as i didn’t want to break his bones
I continued with my confession (i will contract and dilate without pain)and continued speaking in tongues.
30min later,i asked Dh to go get the doctor as we were using a private labor ward and they all seems far away.On getting to me,i asked the doctor that i have urge to push and he insisted i shouldn’t.I asked him to then check me which he declined that the gynecologist gave him instruction to check me by 11pm.I had to narrate my story to him that i am not like order people and that he shouldn’t use general knowledge to handle my case.I told him my labor are usually very short.
He insisted on not checking me until Dh told him he has to check me as i am saying the truth.He reluctantly checked me and said i am fully dilated but it has to thin out before i can push.He said i should wait for another 20min.3min later,i told the nurse stationed at my bedside to call the doctor as i can’t hold the urge to push....before she stood up,my baby head was out...the next push,the whole body flew out and almost falling down....everyone had to struggle to hold twin 1.

Twin 2 was breech so they had to manually turn my stomach to turn twin 2 to cephalic position.Contraction started back immediately and after a min or two,twin 2 came out.

They were 11min apart.One of the doctors looked at me and said « i have never taken an easy delivery like this in all my years of practice « .

I was cleaned up and taken to my room to bath and rest(no tear or episiotomy)
Twin 1 a boy weigh 2.96
Twin 2 a girl weigh 2.44

May those still waiting have a sweet and easy delivery.

Keep praying and confessing what you want daily...God will bring into manifestation our strong desires.

I have finally hang my boot in grand style.

Well, well, I think I'm not qualified to be here yet. I have been having some symptoms which I was hoping was pregnancy,but I was disappointed and sad yesterday when blood test came out negative. I guess I'm too anxious and worried which is why I'm have false pregnancy symptoms.

I'm only waiting for threegees' BA so I can unfollow the thread and get my mind off it, so it can come anytime it wills.

Welcome and congratulations to you once again.
Previous miscarriage and long TTC means you have to start antenatal immediately (even if you're under HMO that insists on 12 weeks, you can be seeing your gyne for checkup prior to the 12th week mark)..she might need progesterone support depending on the cause of the previous miscarriage.
She might also need pelvic rest (no sex) and avoiding strenuous activities as precautionary measures.
Hope she has started on her prenatals....especially folic acid.

Limi Children Hospital is one very good hospital I know. My aunt was referred there from another private hospital when her baby was sick sometimes last year and I was there with her. she's been using there till now. It should be somewhere in Wuse if I'm not mistaken. Google the precise location pls.

I'm in a relationship with a lady I love so much, she's so loving, caring and kind to me and after some months I asked her (Can you marry me?) She replied yes and she asked are you sure you can marry me? I replied YEs.

Let's start from here, call her and tell her you also have something to tell her. Tell her that you also have 2 kids (boys) from a lady you once dated. Let her know you love her and won't mind building a family around the four kids and any other kids that would com from your union with her. Watch her reaction and actions towards you from that moment, watch for about a week. Come back here and tell how it went

NAIRALANDERS, There is this very pretty fair lady who lives nearby and always comes to my house to jist, watch DSTV, sometimes play scrabble & chess. As we attend thesame church.

But she doesnt reject drink or food each time i ask or offer to entertain her. Infact she now enters my kitchen freely.

How do I politely stop or reduce her almost everyday visitation? (because of food).

This pandemic is hitting me hard & its not getting funny.

I'm not going to talk about the food aspect but you really need to tell her to stop coming to your house. Call her by name and tell her she needs to stop coming because as Christians and church members (not siblings) and a opposite sex, people might think it's something else that's happening behind closed doors. Now, it's just about the movie and food but I tell you the devil is probably planning to bring up temptations you might not be able to resist, something that'll soil your relationship with God. Prevention is better than cure my dear.
Also, when there is light, look for somewhere to go without dropping your key, pick up a book and read of which you wouldn't want to be disturbed. Be firm, that's the bottom line

All of you are shouting private school teachers..Abeg let's hear word...Some private school still run online classes and students pay.If you know how affected the travel industry is, you will understand that better.Many travel agency have defaulted. Many haven't paid salaries for months.

No all schools my dear. My school started it for only the classes preparing for exams for free as most of the parents weren't working. We the teachers had to stop (not on instruction of the boss) because nothing was forthcoming, not even data. So it's not all schools

You are very lucky. My boss also promised to pay us, though half but I think the lockdown didn't allow him go to work too so there's nowhere the money would come from. He's a nice man but because of the times

Seriously it has not been easy. Because my mum is also a private school teacher and also the bread winner of the family, but thank God things have been going well for us even though she has not been paid salary for 3 months now.
