we Nigerians are original ery one from the ibo, yoruba, hausa and oda tribes are fuckin pretty,we dont need a white man's dik or womanliness to have beautiful Nigerians unlike the Ghanians,Mofos!
Thats harsh

One thing I have notice most especially on this site theirs a sense of insecurity among both Nigerians and Ghanaians WHY? It seems like it’s from Genesis both Esau and Jacob were Nigerian and Ghanaian…. And they were bound to compete with each other, when it comes to sport it’s the same… The moment Ghana qualified for the world cup my face-book site went into melt down by comments from my Ghanaian friends, when I was at college it was the same! My uncle married a Ghanaian and when they have a party he practically begs us to turn up because in the end he normally feels as if he was invited to a Ghanaian party………… Back to the topic relating to beauty between Koffi and Kofo…. I don’t see the difference between both BUT!!!! Here in England Nigerian men always and I mean always look forward to the Ghanaian Independent day party than the Nigerian one, WHY? You know why! But you can’t split them but a very dark skinned Ghanaian tends to look prettier, but a dark skinned Nigerian would not feel too comfortable about their complexion…

Duhhh, if it is too expensive to create in Nigeria, you can order a finished one online for about $40 a piece. Duh
You could get a TUX online for $40 as well
Celebrities › Re: See Indian Style Wedding By Nigerians by omar22(m): 1:52pm On Aug 18, 2010
That costume did not cost more than $100. It is even cheaper than African attire.
I beg make you go chop "snail"

Do you know how much a naija tailor would make those cloths for you? not many people do the traditional Iro and bubba stuff anymore,  people are now been creative,  nobody wants to see the boring and heavy Aso-Oke any-more,  I had a tailor to make me something similar when i went home last year for my cousin's wedding,  YES I did stand out because its unique!!

You have said it all,
its quite easy for some people to say "Thank God O" when they don't feel the stress some people go through in traffic trying to get to work everyday. If they barn bikes there will be more traffic on the roads, especially the island (home of traffic). I don't get on bikes much on the island, but when i do, its a always a relieve considering the measure of traffic on the way.
If there will be reduced traffic on the road, then bikes can go
Last month I saw a lady with a baby not more than 1 yr on the bike weaving from left to right on the agege motor road, Now tell how safe is that, am sorry health and safety has to come first,

@GAR3TH

The "IJE" movie looks and sound fabulous only because someone (The Director: chineze anyaene) was determine to walk the extra mile, do the extra work, go away gain valuable experience to produce a master class,

If the rest are willing to do the extra work, put in the extra shift, Nigeria would produce better movies, compared to the CRASH, BANG, WALLOP approach to producing movies
TV/Movies › Re: Uganda's First Action Movie Trailer. A Must Watch! by omar22(m): 6:49pm On Aug 10, 2010
And we think Nollywood is bad! Shocked Nollywood is a thoudand times better.
I BEG TO DIFFER,

1) The shooting looks more real than the ones I have seen in any Nollywood movie

2) The punching or martial art is 1000 times better than the ones in Nolly-crap

3) Talking about Helicopters have you seen this clip

Makalele went from Auxerre or Nantes as an Attacking player to Celta Vigo then he became a holding player, does he regret the transition? Mikel was pushed into a deeper role because he had what Makalele never had, which is ball retention and a bigger physique, Jose wanted someone who would bring the ball out without lumping it up to drogba,

However he played in U21 is irrelevant, players position changes in their 20's

Chidichris when cricticizing pls focus on the footballing aspect.you focus more on how much he has made, how he can feed ten generations to come, who ones parents wld choose over Mikel and so on.Mikel doesnt know any of us so he is not worth trading insults on this forum.in my opinion,he has not stepped up his game since the WYC 2005.Messi&co are light years ahead in footballing terms
Mikel is the only one that played at that tournament,
Sports › Re: Mikel Obi Please Score A Goal Or Shoot On Target by omar22(m): 9:45pm On Aug 09, 2010
people make me laugh when you hear them chat about the holding role, his role is to screen the 2 centre backs while the 2 fullbacks attack its a way of creating a Sweeper system that makes Mikel acts as an extra defender infront of the front or droping in as cover,
Sports › Re: Mikel Obi Please Score A Goal Or Shoot On Target by omar22(m): 7:45pm On Aug 09, 2010
I don't know where the statisticians got the stat that makalele scored one goal for chelsea?
Makalele actually scored two goals!!!
Makalele scored one screamer out of the ordinary, and his first goal for Chelsea, Mourinho asked Lampard to let Makalele take the penalty this was in 2005 and makalele hasnt scored in the previous 6 seasons (the last time he was Celta Vigo) and the keeper saved it makalele scored the rebound,

Jay Jay Okocha during the 2003-04 season took 105 shots at goal scored 0 goals so dont hang Mikel out to dry

Entertainment › Re: When will nollywood lay emphasis on quality? by omar22(m): 9:02am On Aug 07, 2010
Dont agree!
I think some people realy dont know what standards are, especially those who have been addicted to nollywood for a while.
Have you seen the way some people react while watching the movies that should make you puke?getting involved in tales that make absolutely no sense to a grown up?
I daresay they will improve when their audience improves enough to ignore totally the hogwash they churn out regularly and praise to high heavens the ones that come out with some self respect.

ONe more thing is that i think there should me a govt regulation that limits the number of movies someone can act in a year,so the artistes are more careful which scripts they accept.
SPOT ON,

3 weeks ago I was watching a Nollywood movie (against my will) 30 minutes into the movie, after changing one disc to another I realised that the storyline has been cut out from one of Tyler Perry's movie, when I told the people watching the movie how it ended, they said "I thought you said you dont watch Nollywood stuff"? yeah!!! I said that I have seen the Hollywood version and the most annoying part is that they STILL couldnt execute the crucial part correctly, the acting was so fake!!!

When you hear a Hollywood or Bollywood actor/actress talk about a role, they talk about the role they are playing as if the person is sitting next to them in the same room,

But when you hear a Nollywood star talk about a role, its I I I I I or ME ME ME ME you would be hearing, I saw some clip of the famous IJE movie, when you listen to how both Omotola and Genevieve spoke in the movie, it was the same in all their previous movies, theirs a difference in acting as an Ibo lady to a yoruba lady, or acting as a rich man's wife to a poor mans wife or been a student to a middle class office worker, but Naija its the same, every role has its own character when you look at Angelina Jolie speaking like an Eastern European in a movie, or Will Smith learning how to talk like Ali, or Matt Damien and Morgan Freeman speaking like African!!!

Lets say the Role of the true live story of Fela's mother was going to be screened a nollywood director would pick anyone to play the role whether she can speak like the character or not, but a Hollywood director would look for some go inside that characters world and adopt it, We have a long way to go and we are too scared to take the first step,

I heard a lady talking on one of the Nigerian radio's in London, she was an actress (yoruba actress) and they asked her about one of collegues that recently passed away (this was almost a year ago)

The lady (I cant remember her name) said that, the rumour was lack of rest led to the actress's death,  that the lady has been working round the clock all year round,  which was shocking,

The lady also said that the pay was so poor that by the time the manager, agent and so many 3rd parties take their cut they are left with less than 10k naira,  I nearly choked on my food when I heard this,
Entertainment › Re: When will nollywood lay emphasis on quality? by omar22(m): 3:20pm On Aug 06, 2010
"IJE: The Journey" is one of the very few Nigerian films with quality.
I beg jare, the shooting of the film is slightly better but the acting is the same, to crown it they decided to get interational actors / actresses with the same ability as their Nollywood counterparts, its like watching Vivica Fox during her early years,
