Celebrities › Re: Hollywood Rejects Actress Tonto Dikeh by omar22(m): 7:44pm On Sep 22, 2010
Tonto is a very pretty, talented and good actress
At Nollywood level

Its like taking a knife to a gun fight!!!!

But its a brave move which I admire because so many of the so called Nollywood stars stay in there comfort zone until they become rotten!!!

Really? NO MATTER WHAT THEY DID?(Sexually molesting you, and all that, please google the story of Marcus Wesson, the kids should LOVE such a man? )  What exactly is the definition of turning against ones parent? And emphasis on father. I'm amazed by what a lot of people think and believe in . To each their own
NO MATTER WHAT THEY DID TO YOU,

Malachi 4:6 He will convince parents to look after their children and children to look up to their parents. If they refuse, I'll come and put the land under a curse." (amplified Version)

I have seen the height of physical brutality from failing an exam to watching football or video at my friend’s house, my dad stopped the smacking when we were young but my mum! Lord have mercy!!!! From koboko, cane, pine, omorogun (eba stick) the broken stool’s leg, fan belt, electrical cable, belt, ruler (for Technical drawing). My dad has that look that could make you wee on yourself…. If I touch his car or the hi fi system I would remember the day I was born like…

All in all I could be bitter about it, but no! Because a preacher once said that theirs a curse (quoted from the bible) that follows those who turn against their parents most especially the father NO MATTER WHAT THEY DID,  But I would never ever repeat what they did to my children…,  We had this horrible senior prefect when I was in form one that beat every single class one student! And we are talking about class 1a- 1i (average 35 students each)…

When I was in class 5 I once tried to punish a new entrance to the school but I couldn’t go through it in the end.

One my in-law tried ever so well not to turn on her mum but, her money doesn’t mix with anything to do with her mother….

I was once caught with a play-boy magazine at school,

I was asked to hold a table with my belly button lined up with the height of the table,  24 strokes and because i let at go number 19, they started again,  each teacher that walked pass where I knelt down gave me a slap or knock in the head after a week of what call physical brutality,  I was told to bring in my parents,  that's when the word suicide came to mind,  I had to ask my eldest sister to come with me,

6 years ago I remember that incident,  I honestly believe that if that incident had happened over here in the UK I would have sued that school for everything it has,

My dad bought a new VW Santana back in 1985 one thing led to another that my parents had a heated arguement over the car and my mum warned the kids not to step our foot in the car, erm my dad drops me at school every morning, the following morning i jumped in my dads new car but on getting back i faced the wrath from my mum,

Looking back I see that as an abuse,

The day my mum caught me in a pool / betting shop, she nearly broke every single bone on my body with "the eba stick"

Parents do Abuse kids thinking that they are punishing them,  some do have a permanent damage to the Child

I once failed to promote from form 4 to form 5,  my parents called me all the names in the world, i couldnt touch the TV, video, stereo, I couldnt go out, I couldnt ask for food before they reminded me about my recent result,

Practically I was called a failure and fortunately for me I made amendments,

Because you fail doesnt mean your a failure, failure is an event not a person, but our parents would bang it constantly to a point that you would accept that your a failure,

An English parent would say Better luck next time, meaning you could do better, encouraging the child to do better,

But beating a child because he failed is purely child abuse
Celebrities › Re: Mary J Blige Named Most Stylish New Yorker by omar22(m): 8:45am On Sep 21, 2010
Which is why everyone is amazed at the list, since NYC is arguably the world capital of modern fashion

Celebrities › Re: Genevieve Nnaji Is My Girlfriend; She's My Everything" - D'banj by omar22(m): 6:37pm On Sep 20, 2010
D'banj needs to take a pill as soon as possible.

He's fast becoming something else.
WHY?

Because he greases Gene's engine room?
Celebrities › Re: Mary J Blige Named Most Stylish New Yorker by omar22(m): 9:11am On Sep 18, 2010
And you're qualified to judge her on this why? because you've lived with her? or what? elaborate, how does a crack seller from the streets of Bronx or Harlem behave and show us instances of her acting this way.
hmmm so when I said she acts like a crack seller, so you took the literal meaning!!!

My question is to the ladies of Nairaland,

you have the choice between 50cents or Atiku

who would you choose?
Celebrities › Re: Genevieve Says Van Vicker Can't Act by omar22(m): 2:34pm On Sep 17, 2010
Lets ask all the ladies on this forum….

50 Cents or Abubakar Atikuhuh

The reason why I asked about Vivica Fox is because she is one of my least favourite actresses in Hollywood but she is still head and shoulders above Genevieve as an actress! Now imagine Vivica saying that Genevieve can’t act!!! (Which is true?) How would Genevieve feel? Most of those supporting Gene’s comment here would say that the West again is looking down on Africans…, its ok for Gene to open her gob and say to someone from a an industry that fairly new that he is not up to scratch but if a Hollywood or Bollywood makes the same comment about Genevieve, it would blast her ego into small pieces!!!!

The Best in Africa!!!….Ha ha ha ha

We do have Africans who are movers and Shakers in the movie world of Hollywood… Gene is still not fit to lace their shoes…
Celebrities › Re: Genevieve Says Van Vicker Can't Act by omar22(m): 2:11pm On Sep 17, 2010
Abeg, vivica fox is one old hag that has been passed around-Ask 50 cent. We are still abt African Levels abeg,In Africa, Genny is one of the best!!!
Old hag or not 50 Cent is still better than looking than Abubakar Atiku that Genevieve slept with,

Answer my question Gene or Vivica who is the better actress,
Celebrities › Re: Genevieve Says Van Vicker Can't Act by omar22(m): 2:02pm On Sep 17, 2010

Celebrities › Re: Genevieve Says Van Vicker Can't Act by omar22(m): 1:50pm On Sep 17, 2010
But truth be told-the guy cnt act.I've been watching his movies -he should probably make money doing something else but when it comes to acting, he sucks

We're saying the same thing, so someone from the ghetto is sub human or what?
Theirs nothing wrong about coming out of the Ghetto or project as they call it… but as you move on in life you change most especially when your wealthy, a lot of people look up to you, you become a public image and image is very important,  most of the afro-American celeb do come from a poor background but along the way they change… like some one said earlier on Toni Braxton or lets use Queen latifah who grew up on the project they both have a very good image! MJB and Vivica fox these are 2 celebs I know that no matter how much they have and where they live the Ghetto in them would stay for ever!!!!

@Dolemite I have nothing against people and where they came from but like Master P once said that he tried to stay where he grew up in the Ghetto but it became impossible despite the wealth and fame he had something wasn’t right so he had to move out and live among the Tom Cruise, Madonna, Tiger woods etc…. With Mary J Blige despite the fact that she lives among the who is who of Hollywood she still acts as if she selling crack in the streets of Bronx or Harlem.
Family › Re: Is My Son Left Handed And How Do I Make Him Right Handed by omar22(m): 7:09pm On Sep 16, 2010
My son is now 17months old and I observe that he always prefers picking things with his left hand even when eating. Also, when I try to give him something he stretches out the left hand first. In addition, when handling things, he has firmer grip with his left hand than his right hand. I dont know if he is left handed cos he is ma first child and please if he is how do I make him right handed.
I cant believe people are still entrapped in these believes,

God created all of us in his unique and perfect way, but between the delivery room and the child teenage years mankind (Africans) tend to indirectly say to God that his plan is not good enough,

Please let the child be, do you know that for a period 10 years England where begging for a left footed football player!!!

Celebrities › Re: Mary J Blige Named Most Stylish New Yorker by omar22(m): 3:04pm On Sep 16, 2010
Mary J Blige is someone from the Ghetto and always act as if shes from the Ghetto no matter how much money she has, its like putting a lipstick on a pig and try to call it something else!!!

Yobo, 29, featured for Nigeria at the 2002 and 2010 World Cups and now by his estimation, it could well mean he still has two more World Cups in him.
Does he think that we are descendant of APES,

He should go on till the next Millenium (who knows he could be an AVATA like Stanley Okoro)

You know if you go by Beauty pagent contest alone, you'll think that S.Africa do not have black girls. I don't think they've ever had a black miss.S.Africa.
why dont you take your racist view somewhere else!!! the South African football team has ONE white player, theirs no ooh aah, Their Rugby team has few black players no one cried wolf! the same with their cricket team and other areas why dont you let them live in peace, instead whipping up racial tension,
Family › Re: Ladies, who Would You Prefer As A Husband: Womaniser Or Alcoholic? by omar22(m): 2:54pm On Sep 08, 2010
If my life depended on it and I had to choose one, it wld be ermmmmmmm an alcoholic.
Alcohol is the mocker of the world most of the bad incidents in the bible Alcohol played a part http://www.gotquestions.org/sin-alcohol.html from Genesis to revelation,

I know of a story about a Nigerian man in North London who beat his wife to death, when he was drunk, so when you pick an Alcoholic you run the risk of someone beating 7 bells out of you or stealing from you to feed his / her addiction or stealing from you kids or borrowing from you neighbour etc etc

Even if she told him no babies till the series ended, he agreed to it, right? Stop making it sound as if a man's wishes and demands alone matter in a relationship/marriage.
Tell any man in a marriage that your career comes first and family comes second, practically means that they both not on the same wave length, Brad felt that he is growing and he wants a kid of his own, am sorry but Angelina brought that smile to his face.

Now he has 6 kids to play with,
