He will say "GEJ 2015, more private jets". We were once told that the "improvement" in the economy could be seen in the increase in the number of those with private jets.
Politics › Re: 'IBO MADE' By Pius Adesanmi by Omimah: 12:00pm On Oct 17, 2014
I have nothing against Nigerians manufacturing goods for local consumption. Where the problem lies is in our local manufacturers trying to clone foreign or more advanced products to deceive the unsuspecting public? For example, why should a Nigerian that makes quality shoes use, say, gucci label on them? Can't he come up with other names? I'm not label freaked, I buy wears base on their quality.

CyberWolf:
grin grin...The mistake APC made is Zoning it's presidential slot to the north...
The death of Musa Yar'Adua which cut short the eight-tenure of the north and the insistence of Jonathan to run make the north agrieved. For me, they are justified for being angry.
Politics › Re: Buhari/fashola Ticket’ll Defeat Jonathan, Says Bisi Akande by Omimah: 9:09am On Oct 17, 2014
Agreed, Buhari/Fashola ticket is good, I'll advice APC not to go for it. Supporters of PDP that like it, and even say it could make them vote for APC are the same people that call APC an Islamic party. This is a trap. If APC falls for it, PDP will say APC had finalized their plans to islamize Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Buhari/fashola Ticket’ll Defeat Jonathan, Says Bisi Akande by Omimah: 9:00am On Oct 17, 2014
talktimi:
First of all, a Buhari/Fashola ticket is not going to happen. Don't ask me why.

That aside, why is a highly influential party elder like Akande pre-empting the outcome of their party primaries by touting Buhari as the preferred presidential candidate when he knows there are other contestants in the race who also paid for their nomination forms ? This will give other contenders the idea that they won't have a level playing field in the party primaries and could cause discord within the party.
It's obvious you didn't read the OP, but just commented after reading the headline. It's Ayo Akande that's speaking, not Bisi Akande.

war against ebola was won by d people and by God...because i cant imagine a disease transfer by body fluid dat wont spread like wild fire in lasgidi, if u stay in lagos and d kind of transportation in d state, u will agree wit me dat ebola was eradicated by efforts of all Nigerians and God nt any governor or presido! Infact Na God o. And its jst so painful to read tru all d comments on dis thread and all i see are lost Nigerians. Your comments jst prove to me dat our youths are no diff frm our drag head politicians

aljharem2:
So it was APC lead government that stopped ebola ?

Are you in Nigeria at all ?

Certainly GEJ cannot take credit for it because it was Nigerians and not Fashola or GEJ that stopped Ebola.

Even conductor dey carry sanitizers, do you think that is Fashola's doing ?
If Ebola had come in through other states other than Lagos or Rivers state, it would have spread like wild fire. The proactive governors of those states, that of Lagos especially, was going about with his Commisioner of Health and health workers whom he was able to recall in the face of their strike.

Don't just bring the issue of privitization of PHCN by Jonathan here. That singular action has brought pains to Nigeria. Can the government justify the forceful payment of fixed charges of 650 naira in residential building every month. I sometimes consume 180 naira, but pay an additional 650 naira as fixed charge.
jking001:
Bastard and wayward kids from useless father and mothers, the man you insult has done better than your past presidents, where Obj failed he succeeded Nitel that was privatized by Obj and power privatized by GEJ the difference is clear for you to see,our roads have been upgraded i use to remember from giri to gwagwalada how bad it use to be during the obj days but alas now that place is a smooth drive what about the airport ?they are better and what about some federal roads i pass through in benin, like dawson road that was neglected by all successive regimes he fixed it,steady work on lagos benin express,Janjaweedians you can go and die if i can see this few things then i think you guys ought to been in the zoo, don't worry your cocaine and weed smoking party leader TinubuDaft and your terrorist and racist pedophile presidential candidate that can't speak English fit in my dog house.

He can wipe out boko haram because he's one of their biggest supporters. He has frustrated govt effort in tackling boko haram thus far, one wonders why Buhari always cry foul when fed govt moves against boko haram. How can foot soldiers not be afraid of their commander?
Could you in all honesty answer this question, if Buhari sponsors Boko Haram, how come our security inteligence has not picked him? Or is PDP not aware that proving that Buhari sponsors Boko Haram won't only be the end of his political career but also APCP?

I don't know about y'all but if I got to the proposal stage with her, then it means we both know what we want. Na to call wedding planner remain o!
What if the situation the guy finds himself is such that after studying the lady from afar, discovers she is a wife - material, and decides to say to her, say, "I've watched you closely, and have seen your qualities. I want to enter a relationship with you which I hope will last for the rest of our lives." Deep down inside the girl, she knows it's proposal. In such a situation, should the guy remind her or just forget about it?
Romance › After Proposing To A Girl, How Long Should It Take A Guy To Remind Her? by Omimah(op): 8:01pm On Oct 15, 2014
I've always wondered the steps a guy should take after proposing to a girl and she says she would think about it or that other guys had been asking her hands in marriage.
-Where she says she would think about it, how long should the guy wait before reminding her?
-Where she says other guys had been asking her hands in marriage, should the guy still go ahead proposing, being optimistic she would consider him?
