Stop having this mentality about us. Is only a frustrated and broke ass person, that talks this way. Sometimes I wonder if you men don't experience mother's love, with the way you talk about women.

Women this, women that.
This person you are quoting is a Teenager. Pls read their comments and sieve the men from the boys .
Secondly,so many of these boys are frustrated with thier lives, they are also angry that no lady is paying them any attention because they lack the necessary skills to get themselves engage to make money for a living .Others are just plain students, who are just idle doing nothing and bitter becos they were dumped by thier girlfriends for not being good enough.
So, Nairaland is filled up with frustrated young men that are angry at the world for giving them very little opportunity to compete with thier age mate, who are doing well, planing thier lives and getting along with beautiful women.
Hard working & Successful men have less time insulting women online, they are rather focus on using thier time to make money ..Only losers with nothing to show for thier very existence go about insulting women online.

You are handicap when bandith come for you guys ,they steal from you , maim and kill anyone on thier part .Both the old & young are not left out . They kidnapped, rape your women & slaughter your people and render your community desolate. But you remain mute and look on like Donkeys. But you become very powerful and violent when someone says something about your prophet, who is long dead and gone . Your imams becomes spoke men and come out from thier hiding places to defend this barbaric actions . Shame on you northern Muslims . You are nothing but a headache to our very existence. It's better your region stay alone and hobnob with countries like Yemen ,Sudan , Afghanistan etc ,so that you can propagate & grow your barbaric religion among yourself .
Shame on you guys and any sick soul that is defending this sick behaviour from this varmins that call themselves defender of Islam, when they cannot defend themselves from bandith that have been terrorising thier lives. And so what ?? Is NIGERIA not a third world country ?and her NIGERIANS not third world people? Lot of NIGERIANS travels abroad and start demanding the same right with the citizens of those countries and cry racism when the citizens of those countries tell them fact..

Nigerians are known for bad reputation anywhere they travel to they still carry their third world mentality enter Europe and other western countries..

Just look at Europe..Europe is fast becoming a African ravaged shithole ,lot of rape ,gun and knife violence committed by third world citizens from Africa and Middle East countries and guess what the Europeans are already complaining..a time will come when the Europeans won’t bear it anymore and start xenophobic attack on African migrant and their Middle East counterparts.

Recently in France some group of NIGERIANS were forcefully evicting the native French out of their homes and robbing them same thing as been happening in other part of Europe..sweden a once safe country turning to wrzone. So tell me why they won’t tell you third word citizens to go back to your shithole the European are not going to let some uncivilized people destroy their country ..

Hold your fucking leaders accountable and don’t expect other country to treat you like boss and always show you sympathy
Can you proudly and honestly tell me the country you are from? Are you a nigga or a Caucasian? wait! A Caucasian will not talk like this. You are definitely a black self hating nigga. Please crawl back to that bitter pit you came out from, because we have more than enough on our plate to contend with. Ok?
People travel all over the world for various reasons and you cannot tell everyone to go back to their countries. Migration of people has always been since time immoral. So there is nothing any element such as your kind, from the ghetto, with very poor education can do about it. Ok? Which country are you originally from, anyway? If you are black, you should know that what ever country outside the shores of Africa is never your country. As long as your are a fucking black nigga, you have no right to tell another black man to go back to their country, because you are also a stranger in that land you call a country. In all this, if it turns out that you are a Nigerian, them shame on you. Nonsense.

FamilyRe: How Can One Find Genuine Spouse In This Era Of Ritual Killings, Organs Harvest? by omoharry(f): 10:55am On May 06, 2022
pozehnani:
This calls for serious concern especially for the female folk as ladies are the ones at the receiving end of this whole cruelty and madness of ritualism that has become the order of the day in our already decaying society.

The rate at which female body parts are being ripped on a daily basis by their supposed boyfriends and lovers leaves me wondering if one can still have a genuine guy/relationship without having to watch your back that he's going rip your organs the next minute.

Right now, its very difficult to agree to date a guy without the fear or thoughts of being used for rituals because the heart of every Young guy/man has been seered with a hot iron and so hardened and desperate to make money at all cost that they wont think twice when presented with an opportunity to do money rituals.

These days if a guy approaches me, I walk as fast my legs can carry me and I'm most tempted to scream "ritualist!!!!
It is that bad.
A guy can not approach you and the next thing on your mind is rituals. Like seriously, its appalling.

Please, with this rising trend of killing and havesting female body parts, is it still advisable to accept guys/ mens advances talk more dating them?. And don't even begin to tell me to go to my religious circle because they are everywhere. Some are disguising as bro in the church. In fact 90% percent of men are desperate to get rich quick therefore can be easily influenced by this evil trend.

What should we single ladies do?
Avoid men totally?

I like my life abeg.

Sad.
.. I
For now, you may want to avoid online dating till you factor out ways to be cautious when going that rout. Be self sufficient financially and decline any greek gift from these men. This is because this is what they use to lure women to their early grave.
If you must to date through online at all,Please take the following precautions
1) Please ensure you do your research on the person you are chatting with online. Check when thier face book/twitter/instagram account was opened. Check his history with other people on that platform and read through their own conversation on thier timeline and see if you can pick one or two family members or friends through those chat. You can somehow assess the kind of person he is from his previous chat with people. If all his accounts are new without any pictures , then you have to be very very careful and more cautious. You might want to stay away from such person.
2) If you are satisfied with the person you are chatting online with, then, save his picture and that of his friends and family members on your system for future reference
3) If you wish to take the friendship to the next level by seeing him in person, ensure you meet him in public place at least for some months. Don't ever ever visit him alone in his house or in isolation, without knowing him well enough. If he is very insistent on you visiting him alone at all cost , please dont. Only do what your heart tells you to.
4) At least attend functions with him first to know who he is and the kind of people he keeps around him. If its a wedding ceremony, let him send you the invitation to authenticate the event. You can also follow him to his church or mosque too. There you may see other church friends ,who will see you both as a couples. Attend his family function if you are invited ,then you will know that you have been seen with him by his family and friends . Also Introduce him to one or two of your siblings. Then you can visit him in his house but don't let your guard down still. Always inform a family member where you are going or where you are at every point in time. I he is a fake person or a ritualist, he will not have the patient for this kind of slow measure you have taken to know him better. If he is genuine, he wont complain but will see it has a normal thing .However, if he is not genuine person, he will quickly lose interest in you and look else where for his next victim.
If you are self sufficient financially and not desperate to meet have a man at all cost, you can never fall victim to these low life ritualist. This world is now more dangerous than we ever thought it to be and one has to be very careful.

I will never a fan of Jagaban but I hate it when these northerners start this their useless hypocrisy, these are the same people that supported a sick Buhari and Sick Yard Adua but as e reach south now they know sickness is not good for a president
So we have descended so low as to start advocating for sick old men to lead us..This time you are no longer talking about leadership among healthy men from our tribe but old and frail ones.Abi!
So now, since the North has produced a sick Leader, it is time for the South to now produce their own sick leader. You really need help and if you are a grown up, then God help you.
There is something wrong with some of you Nigerians that cannot think that you deserve a better life by voting in a credible, sound and educated president. How can a nation with intelligent young men and women allow tribal and religious sentiment to cloud their good sense of judgement? What has Buhari , being a president, brought to the North? Aside from appointing his cronies, friends and families into political position, has it changed anything in the north?. What about his home town Katsina nko..has it be transformed into a mini heaven? There is something really wrong with so many of you Nigerians. I don't know if we are suffering from Stockholm syndrome or we are so traumatized that we long longer have our have any standard left but "what ever comes we take mentality".
We really deserve the stupid and old leaders like Buhari that is currently ruling us...Infact, una neck never long ooo!. It will be longer than the length of a Bic pen, caused by hunger and uncertainty for your future. All because we have refused to think that we deserve better and sound leaders. It seems only the old & dying men fit our standard of what a leader should be.If they are not old enough, then they don't have the experienced to become one. These old sick men, when elective become sicker with dementia and eventually, allowing vultures around him to have a field day, playing with lives of 200 Millions of Nigerians, just because the old and frail leader you elected is too weak to know what is happening around him.
Buhari is an example of what happens when educated and intelligent people endorsed a dull, weak, nepotistic & fanatics to rule over them- just because, they refused to think for themselves. But allowed themselves to be swayed by self serving opinion leaders. Well Buhari is part One ..Tinubu will now be part 2 when voted in by another group of blind Bats.

Anybody who tells you after secondary school is just deceiving his or herself.

The world is advancing pretty fast and a child as early as possible is expecting to get going with computers and phones because we are in IT world. There are lots of kids making alot of money on YouTube, also by playing metaverse games or selling NFTs.

Most of the Tech billionaires today got their first computers at a very tender age and started writing lines of codes.

One good thing about children is that as they play games on computers, they dream of creating their own games to their tastes and from there a programmer is born.

As for me, my kids will have computers then tablets and phones as early as possible.

They won't be allowed to take it to school and they will have hours when they are allowed to play and explore it. The internet at home will be restricted and a firewall place to permit Just a certain sites.

These I did with my nephew back then when I was still with them and I noticed he became fun of constructing stuffs. My bad laptop. I don't discard them. They are at home and I notice he derives fun opening and closing the parts. Also there is no. Folder in a system. He can explore.

That is the way forward with kids. Not outright ban
Good for you then..Every parent must adapt a way to train their children. Everyone to whatever way suit them in parenting. The internet is a dangerous place for minors...aside from pornography child get easily lured to watched, there are paedophiles hanging around online looking, looking for young girls and boys to defile..A child of 13-15 can be lured by these animals. One has to monitor these children with smart phones and not assume that they are matured enough to know right from wrong.

Then why will a very successful guy think of relocating to Canada and leaving a very supportive wife behind?

Thr story no gel. Good actors though. Excellent costume. Directing was fair.

I'll give it 5/10
oga ,abeg go back and watch that movie before Ur review. The church was built on a lie with the collaboration from that drug & human trafficking dealer Rekia .. The church was funded by illicit fund and the church is use to launder the money . He was relocating to Canada becos he knows his sins are beginning to unravel, especially the lady he impregnated and died during abortion .
He never loved his wife and wanted to catch in on the sudden wealth from the church to elope with Joy. The movie is not perfect but you didn't understand how the church became so rich within a very short time .

Plot:
The son of a pastor grows up to resent the church, he rebels against his family, then tries to find his way back to the church...but then, old habits die hard.

Review

Well, this movie is a proper example of "The trailer fooled ya, didn't it?"

I know we don't have a lot of examples of that in the Nigerian movie industry, where there is a running joke that you can tell what happens from the trailer, so, let me just let you know now, you cannot tell what happens from the trailer. You have to watch it.

The story introduces us to Samuel (Nnani), the son of a firebrand preacher, who is quite handy with a whip. Samuel resents his father so much that the moment he leaves home, he decides never to return, no matter how many letters his heartbroken mother writes to him. Samuel is living it up, performing as 'Abami' (I imagine a Fela character). He's the quintessential bad boy from a good home who has strayed from God, but then he meets good gyal, Joy (Johnson), and he wants to be good for Joy, but then, his rebellious side is not what Christian sister Joy needs in her life, and Pastor BJ (Enwerem) of the Campus church, points that out to her and shows her to her real husband. Bad Boy Samuel spirals, but Tej (Ighodaro) his childhood friend who introduced him to Joy, is there to catch him and be his rebound gyal.

In fact, this story is a whole rollercoaster and you have to hold on tight, or risk being thrown out the cart. A whirlwind of events happen, but the one thing we do establish, is that Samuel is troubled, and you cannot save someone if they do not want to be saved.

Casting was good, although I don't think the script was really challenging enough for any of the actors. There were no emotional highs, no heart-wrenching scenes or anything that would require an actor to dig deep. It was quite pedestrian to be honest.

There were musical performances in this movie, I imagine Nani and Shola-Fapson did sing some of these tracks themselves, but with Nani, I'm not so sure. Aside these songs, the music wasn't really catchy.

I think the concept of the story was quite good, but the sequence of events were a bit hasty. It felt like being presented with a large buffet you had to finish in ten minutes. We didn't get to really savour the story. There were scenes that should have been heavier, but something was just missing, an extra punch to the gut you might say, and I'm unsure if this could be blamed on the scriptwriting or the delivery.

There were so many paths this story had that were poorly explored. We were teased with the possibility of an extra-marital affair between Samuel and Joy, after they reunite, but that is deflated before it can even rise. Rekya's(Fapson) return to Samuel's life is only for the purpose of ruining him, but it all happens in a flash. Why is Samuel so unhappy he is willing to run away from the wife who stood by him despite his scandals? Why did it not occur to him that she could turn on him, even when she promised him that? Why didn't he try to make nice with her? Na so prison dey seduce the guy?

So many multiple choice questions, and we barely got the complete answers. Someone suggested it should have been a series, to allow for a deeper exploration of these intricate relationships, and I can't help but concur. Some of the relationships could have made for some juicy scandals, which is always a good recipe for a series.

This was not a story of someone going astray and finding God, this was a story of someone going astray, finding himself in the church, and then walking further into sin.

A few people have called it a Christian movie, but I wouldn't categorise it as such. Yes, there is a lot of church activity, but there is barely a depiction of Christ-like behaviour. I think the hypocrisy and blatant imperfection that permeates the church is what is most explored here, not quite a relationship with God. We do not really see a reformed individual in Samuel (Nnani) as the story progresses, rather, we see someone who hides his shortcomings in a preacher's cloak.

In fact, if there is one thing that remains consistent in the movie, it is how flawed the people who grace the pulpit really are. From Samuel's abusive father, to the manipulative Pastor BJ, the tithe-seeking, vile, Mummy GO (Anunobi) of a church Samuel serves as music director, to Samuel, who starts his own church, not because he was really called by God, but because "church business is big business". So, if the aim of the story is to show us the hypocrisy of church leaders, then, sure, we could call it a Christian movie in that aspect. But the fact that we never really get to see any of these flawed MoGs experience a character change, is what is quite damning.

Overall, this movie is a decent watch on a lazy day.

CelebritiesI Need The Advert Rate Cards For These Online Influencers. by omoharry(op): 3:23pm On Apr 20, 2022
Hello House,
I was given a task to submit the following Rate Card for some our company's product promotion, latest by tomorrow. I have reached out to some and I have been able to get their rate card but others are a bit difficult since the only means I can reach them is dropping a message on their Instagram handle, which they hardly read.

Please can I have their managers numbers or if possible their advert/Rate Card, if anyone here has it? My oga said I must provide their rate latest today or first thing tomorrow morning for consideration.
